Nice monitor with a few drawbacks
on October 22, 2018

So coming from a combination of a repurposed $200 wireless security camera and a very cheap audio only baby monitor combination, this monitor comes as a mixed bag but, I do think I'll keep using it over my previous set up.
Video quality
The video quality on this camera is so-so. The night vision is where I really notice the difference between this camera and my old camera and it's not great. You can definitely make out baby's movements but, it's no where as clear as my old camera. The pan and tilt function is definitely an improvement though. I really do like the ability to move the camera around as my baby moves around the crib at night. This is a must have feature on all video baby monitors.
Audio
Not much here, you can hear baby. I haven't had any problems, it will get pretty loud and you have the ability to turn the volume all the way down if you want.
Notifications
This is a really cool feature. You can set the monitor to alert you via a ringtone and light when baby either cries or moves. I like this because I use a white noise machine in baby's room so, with this feature, I'm able to turn the volume on the monitor way down so I don't heartbeat constant white noise. You can adjust the sensitivity levels of the noise and motion detection to best suit your needs. I keep mine on medium and it works pretty week.
Temp sensor
This monitor comes with a temperature sensor as well. You can easily see the temperature on the monitor screen and also use it to notify you when baby's room gets too hot or cold. I haven't ever used this notification functionality since baby's room hasn't left that temp range but, it is a good thing to monitor.
Base station
The base station is pretty great. The screen is bright and controls are easy to use. Other than the so-so image quality, I have no real complaints. The battery life on the base is pretty great, I haven't ran the battery down all the way yet. And having a rechargable battery is a real plus.
Extra features
There are a few other features this monitor comes with that I don't find super useful. The first being white noise and lullabies. This is a good idea in theory but, Panasonic really failed to execute here. The speaker on the camera is terrible. It isn't very loud and does not sound good at all, I could not see using this as a functional white noise machine for my babies room. The other problem here is that the white noise has a present time limit. You can adjust the time but, the maximum is 2 hours, which doesn't work for me because my baby wakes up as soon as the white noise goes off.
The camera also has a talk back function, not sure why you would ever use this but, you still have to use the mediocre camera speaker so your voice sounds pretty weird coming through.

Swiss Army Knife of Cooking Gadgets
on October 9, 2018

This is the craziest kitchen gadgets I've ever seen. It can cook in any method you would think a kitchen cooker could cook. You can slow cook, pressure cooker, air dry, broil... This thing does it all and does it well.
It's incredibly easy to use and comes with plenty of recipes and instructions to get you started. Just add the ingredients and turn it on, it's that easy.
The cooker works perfectly, it Cooks fast and is consistent ever time.
The air frying method is really cool and acts as an incredibly healthy way to get that crispy deep fried taste without all the oil. I love it and don't know if I'll ever get anything again.
If you're looking for any of the above cooker types, you can't go wrong with the Ninja. It will do what you're looking for and give you so much versatility to cook in many different ways. I'd highly recommend this cooker to anyone.

Neat Idea
on October 9, 2018

This printer is fun and I think that was what HP intended with this product. The idea of having a pocket sized photo printer you can use with your smartphone seems perfect for people who just want fun physical photos. I could see this as a great product for a teenager.
If you're looking for a really high quality wallet sized photo printer, this is not that product. The pictures are ok but, I've had a few images that get blown out when they print and I have no idea why. But, it works for the most part and was cool to be able to print little wallet sized photos at home.
One of the things I like the most about this printer is the lack of ink. It uses some sort heat printing to print to the special Zink paper. It's really cool and the paper isn't crazy expensive.
The app is easy to use and has some decent editing features. There a lot of gimmicky AR type features that don't really work well and I don't see anyone using.
Overall, if you're looking for a fun photo printer and aren't concerned with getting the absolute best quality, I think you'll have fun with this printer.

Great sound in a small package

Ultimate ears makes some of the best Bluetooth speakers, hands down. It's one of those products you buy knowing it will work well.
The sounds on this thing is Rich and full. I have it hooked up to an Apple TV and use it as the main audio source for the Apple TV and it works perfect. It's just small enough to stay out of the way but, that doesn't hinder it's ability to fill the room with great sound.
The build quality of the boom 3 is top notch. It feels solid and well made. It definitely feels like it will last for a while. The water proofing makes me feel even better about taking this speaker around wherever I go.
I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't recommend this product. It looks great, sounds great, great battery life, and is water proof. Not sure what more you could ask for from a Bluetooth speaker. Highly recommend.

Plug in and forget
on September 15, 2018
Posted by: Clshipp91

Nothing difficult about this one. Just attach the removable battery and use it just like any other power strip. I use mine to make sure my wifi, security cameras, and smart home hub stay on at all times, even during power outages orbrown outs. The 600va is plenty to keep those devices running for several hours during power outages.
The APC has 5 sockets that act as battery backup and surge protector and an additional two sockets that are surge protector only. I was able to fit all of my devices in the battery backup after rearranging. But, even then I still ended up blocking one socket, making it unusable.
That is really my only complaint about this battery backup. If you have odd shaped or long plugs, you will end up blocking one or two. But, this is really a problem with every power strip not just this one.
The APC also features a USB port to back up unsaved documents on a PC if the power goes out. I don't have a tower PC so I didn't have a chance to use this. It sounds useful but, it only works on Windows. No Mac support.
Overall great battery backup. It was easy to hide away in a cabinet, does it's job and I don't have to think about it.

Looks good and Functional
on July 28, 2018

I really like this diaper bag. Our first diaper bag had almost no separate pockets or dividers and made finding things near impossible. That is not the case with this bag.
First, this bag is bigger than the pictures make it look. It's a good sized bag that fits everything we need for our 6 month old girl. There are plenty of interior pockets to store diapers, wipes, etc. The outside pockets are pretty big too.
I really like how far the front pocket opens, you won't have trouble getting to anything there.
The changing pad that comes with the bag works well,it's easy told up, and isn't too small that it's unusable.
The bag feels very well made, the material looks like it will clean easy and the zippers are smooth and don't feel like they'll wear out easy.
Overall, huge upgrade from my previous bag. Incredibly useful, easy to carry and so functional. Highly recommend.

A Beast!
on July 15, 2018

This laptop is massive. Not only has it got a 17 I no Darren but, it packs an mx150 graphics card, 12 gb of RAM, a 1 TB, AND a Blu Ray drive. Yes this laptop has a disk drive, something most laptops have ditched these days. Because of all of this hardware, this is a thick and have laptop. And because of the way the hinge works and the weight, it's honestly pretty uncomfortable to use in your lap. The back edge really digs into your legs. But, it works great on a deal!
The 8th gen i7, 12 gb RAM, and MX150 graphics card have been able to push all the stuff I've thrown at it, granted it's mostly spreadsheets, email, YouTube, browsing, etc. I haven't noticed any slow down. But, I wouldn't expect this graphics card to be able to play games on ultra hi def if you plan to game on it. It's definitely on the lower end of graphics cards.
The screen is bright and cross. It's really the best part about this laptop. I've never owned a laptop this big and I really don't want to use one with a smaller screen ever again.
The keyboard toes well and the backlight stays on as long as you want which isn't the case on some laptops.
Battery life is about as advertised, I haven't had any trouble getting through the day with it.
There are a ton of ports, USB, USB C, HDMI, you name it, you'll have them all here.
My only other complaint about this laptop is the finger print reader. It's in a word document in the side of the laptop and honestly doesn't work well. I've never got it to work on the first try and most of the time it doesn't work at all.
Overall, it's a great laptop for people that want a huge screen if you can compromise with a not so great experience in the lap.

Works but expensive
on July 15, 2018
Posted by: Clshipp91

I really like the idea of not having a dongle for every aux cord I one and this Belkin lightning to aux cord solves that problem. It works exactly like you'd expect, my iPhone has had no issues with it.
The cord it self is very flexible and doesn't feel cheap. I haven't noticed any wear or tear in the time I've used it and the sound quality is great.
My only complaint is the price. This thing is expensive. But, then again so is buying a normal aux cord and a dongle.
Overall it works liked you'd expect an aux cord to work.

Cool Idea, Poor Execution
on June 21, 2018
Posted by: Clshipp91
from Fort Worth, tx
The idea behind clips is to have a smart camera you leave around that take pictures of the people you care about so you don't have to hold a camera and miss out on spending time with those people. It will take pictures whenever it seems a person and at the end of the day you'll have all the pictures of what happened, along with a short gif type image of the day.
The idea here is really cool but, clips misses the mark on a lot of things. First is the quality of the pictures. For a device that's sole purpose is to take photos, it should have an outstanding camera. Clips does not. My wife compared the quality to our security cameras, which is not great. Second is the angle the photos are taken. I really could never find a place where I sat Clips that turned out with appealing pictures, it just isn't possible with the shape of the stand that comes with the device.
Setup of the device was surprisingly very ungoogle. It wasn't easy. I had to reset the device several times before vmy phone would even register the camera. Then once it finally did, I was met with a message saying I needed to charge the camera before setup. After charging, I finally made it through a clunky setup. It was not seem less to say the least.
Overall l, I'm not sure this product is good for anyone, the pictures aren't great and it's almost impossible to find a place to put the camera where you would get good photos even if it took clear pictures.

Keep your carpets in pristine condition with this HOOVER ONEPWR Spotless GO cordless carpet cleaner. The lightweight design simplifies cleaning on stairs and upholstery, while the 4-inch scrubbing tool removes stubborn stains. This HOOVER ONEPWR Spotless Go cordless carpet cleaner comes with a 2.0 Ah rechargeable battery for prolonged cord-free usage.

I am inquiring about the upholstery/multi purpose tool. Can the clear cover be removed for cleaning? I have an indoor pet, and with other machines, pet hair has gotten caught, when suctioning up messes. What kind of maintenance is there to clean the hose?

It sure can. It pops off pretty easy to wipe down.

how do i use a flashdrive

Just plug it into the USB port, then go to "file explorer". In the left hand column of icons you should see your flashdrive. It will be near the "c:" drive on the list. Just drag and drop files to that icon to add things to the flash drive.
