Installation nightmare. Performance Fantastic

I am no novice to installing hardware to computers. However, I followed the installation guide to the letter and found that this machine is a nightmare to install. The wireless installation instructions simply don't work at all. I was able to find the ssd and network and the machine repeatedly (five times) did not connect via wireless. I cheated on a sixth time and did the WPS and that worked until I had to restart the computer to install the remaining software.
INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATION
Ignore the instructions provided. Install the driver software via usb and install everything afterwards including the iPrint software. Then go back and run the wireless install. Once the wifi icon on the scanner is constantly lit in blue, then you have a good wifi connection and then use the iPrint software to scan. You will have to select the machine you want and hopefully the wifi one will show up.
I have a wonderful brother all in one that has wifi that was not this difficult to install.
I would suggest plugging the scanner into usb first and have the battery completely charged - fully illuminated yellow battery indicator top right in icon window on scanner.
USE
Once you can get this thing to connect, the rest is a dream - this thing is blazing fast and will scan both sides once the document is inserted into the window. This is where the unit excels - blazing fast scan - straight scan - and it populates into the iPrint screen and has options where to save. Should you want to scan more than one sheet, in iPrint once the first two sides of the first document have scanned, you can select a button in the top of the white window (under the purple "save scanned data" are) "add pages" and then feed the next page into the scanner and repeat until the series of documents you want to scan has been completed. The on the right side of the white area is "save/share" and you can select how you want the document(s) to be saved.
This scanner can also scan to microSD card - but that is not provided and I did not test that as a result.
OVERALL
If the installation was easier and more forthright, I'd have given this unit five stars. I was surprised how fast and easy this was to scan documents and did the test completely on the wireless connection. If you need a portable printer or even an occasional scanner that does not take up a lot of desk space, this is a great product. Brother has really stepped up its game with printers and scanners recently and I'd highly recommend this.

I've used Logitech brand keyboards and mice for years. So I know that the quality of the product is first rate but this unit raised the bar. It has a nice heft to it. The body of the keyboard is made of military grade aluminum. The keys have nice travel and I love the sounds the keys made. This unit comes with a memory foam palm rest cushion that adds a nice touch.
I downloaded the GHUB software and plugged in my Logitech G703 gaming mouse (which I just love) and was able to sync the color settings that I had picked for the keyboard to now work with the mouse - nice touch!
I'm still learning the macro items but it seems fairly straight forward with this unit.
The overall impression is of a very nice keyboard that seems a step or two above other boards that I've tried in the past. You cannot go wrong with this unit. The keyboard was packed well and in its own black box.

This blower worked right out of the box though it did need a charge to bring it to full strength.
This device is lightweight and perfect for blowing leaves off of a patio or sidewalk or to touch up a yard to blow leaves out of the corner or edge of a fence into the path of a mulching mower.
My 78 year old mother was able to hold this comfortably and to use it to clear part of my patio and now she wants one for her house! To her this was easier than using a broom. And she liked the fact that it did not have a cord to worry about.
If you want something to do larger tasks, I'd suggest buying something more robust that might also use a battery pack that works with a battery operated lawnmower. But for simple and irritating cleanup tasks, this is spot on perfect.

Before I turned 40 as an adult, I had an electric razor. It worked. But the blades became too pricey. So I turned to a myriad of non-power razors and found one of the lesser expensive ones that did a far better job than the electric razor.
Fast forward over 15 years and here I am pondering the question of whether I want to keep buying razors or if I should get another electric one.
OVERVIEW
I charged the razor for 12 hours prior to first use and it showed an indicator bar that was fully lit. I proceeded to use it as I have prior experience knowing how to do, and it worked - but it was not a smooth and close to your face shave that I am accustomed to with a regular three blade razor.
Thinking that possibly I wasn't pressing hard enough I really pushed it against my face but the results on the other half of my face was not impressive. The results were the same whether I just glided the unit across my face or whether I gave it extra pressure.
I ended up finishing the shave with the three blade razor to get the close and smooth shave that I have expected.
I found this shaver to be inefficient to use - I spent more time shaving with it than with the manual razor. I suppose if I were to wait and have a two day growth instead of the one day that I normally have, this might be a more pleasant shave than the manual one, but somehow I doubt that I'd save any time having to come back anyway with the manual razor.
This product is disappointing and I don't remember my prior electric razors being this inefficient at shaving. But I know that it isn't the best shave that I can get and I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I am no newbie when it comes to video editing. I've done numerous videos years ago using significantly older and less responsive hardware than I now possess and using early versions of major software.
The 2020 Adobe Premiere Editor turns out to be a very polished video editor that is simple to use and packed with transitions and effects that would allow even a novice editor to produce a worthy and impressive video
At this point in time, most video editors have a similar interface and timeline that allows you to drop and drag items and this program is no different. What it does do that my previous editor did not do is to work in 4k and this is a significant feature that works well with today's higher powered computers with ram and ssd's that we have now. I worked on a tower with 32 gb of ram and nvme ssd drive that turned the project into a surprisingly fast outcome. The 4k experiment of about 3 minutes in length was FASTER than what I could do in 720 p years ago (granted the hardware then was not as good as now).
I'd recommend this program to anyone who needs an easy to use program at a very competitive price that also has plenty of youtube support videos that will walk you through on how to use it. I know I was bringing myself up to speed using these support videos and relearned some nuances that I had forgotten that I had done years ago.

This is one fast Dell laptop. Boot and shutdown times are blazing fast. Not instantaneous, but within seconds to shutdown or to boot screen nonetheless.
Set up was typical windows 10 and that is not a bad thing. I did find that I had to initiate further Windows 10 updates which I had not had to do with another manufacturer's unit. But thanks to the speedy processor and ssd, updates were briskly installed.
CONSTRUCTION
This is a very impressive aluminum bodied machine with Dell logo in chrome. This unit was not particularly heavy but it had some heft to it - a quality feel. The screen was beautiful and had a very narrow bezel around it.
THE KEYBOARD
Awful. There is a reason some companies have aluminum bodied laptops with BLACK keys instead of aluminum looking ones. Quite simply the keys were almost impossible to read in any light even if they were backlit. Thankfully this problem with a bad key construction choice can be remedied if you are using this like a desktop where you could install an external keyboard and/or mouse. I did not find any glaring issues with the trackpad.
OVERALL IMPRESSIONS
Very fast as noted; full-sized HDMI port for installation of an external monitor (yes!), several usb ports; no dvd player was present though you can add external which is not a demerit. I liked that the power button was surrounded by white so that you didn't have to hunt for it - a plus since the other keys are awful in clarity. Quite simply black keys would resolve this awful keyboard's issues.
This is a quality laptop that has the speed to do more than basic tasks; it is not small and portable, but if you use it for a desktop replacement, then this is a very good choice.
And it also has a touchscreen!

I installed AVG Ultimate on 4 Windows 10 machines that I use and on an Android Phone.
INSTALLATION
Straight forward. Adding the components in the Ultimate Package was easy for me and they all installed as they should. The Android phone also was an easy install through the App Store.
USE
Anti-Virus ran effectively and rather quickly through each system. I installed on two very new machines and then two of the oldest Windows 10 machines I have. Obviously the newer machines did the installs and scans much faster than the old ones, but I found no overall speed impact on the machines of any vintage as tested.
I liked that AVG alerted me to Firefox addons that might be questionable though they were false alarms as the ones I had were okay in background efficacy.
The Tune Up
I have used another Cleaner/Tuneup for years so this was interesting to see the difference between the two. AVG's Tune Up did seem to make the older machines faster though I did not notice any difference in performance on the newer machines. I did like that the Tune Up aspect did more at one try than the previous "Cleaner" that I had used.
VPN
Having just subscribed to my first VPN this month, I had a chance to compare the two. I have gigabit internet so my test may vary from yours. I know VPN's tend to dumb down the speeds but I was losing nearly 80% of the speed using either VPN service so the net difference between the two was unremarkable. AVG's was not faster than the other national one. It was just as easy to use. And since this was all part of a subscription, the cost of AVG's was already covered whereas I would be paying over $10 per month for the other service alone! I cancelled the other service. I noticed no difference in real performance and the convenience of having an entire suite of protection and performance to be impressive and cost effective.
NOT TESTED
Driver updater - I am old fashioned and each brand of computer has their own interface that recommends drivers to be updated; I prefer to default to the OEM advice rather than a "one-size-fits-all" system.
Password Protection - This is active and alerted me to generic and old accounts that I don't even use anymore - it says to change the passwords but none of the items ever had credit card information on them so I haven't done anything with them. It is nice that such a feature is there and will be more compelled to use this system should a CURRENT account have issues. I'll monitor this in the future.
OVERALL IMPRESSIONS
Great value for what you receive - AVG works well with older technology (I have a 3 year old, a 2 year old, and two less than year old PC's and an almost three year old Android phone). With what you get in the Ultimate package, this is a great value for the money and I highly recommend this. As a side note, I have AVG free on my Mom's computer (she's 78) and it has alerted her and protected her for free for years so I am familiar with the product and its reputation and effectiveness.

After using my Ninja Foodi Grill for the past week, I am left stunned at how good it is at cooking one thing. And that is also its highest negative.
I've cooked steaks and chicken fillets and they've come out superbly cooked and juicy and done so quickly.
But what happens if I also want to air fry some fries or tater tots to go along with it for a complete meal? Or what if I decide to air fry the potato products I can't also do my Chicken in there as well.
I've never owned an air fry product so I have no baseline as to know whether this product is truly remarkable or not. I just know that the air fried products I have done have been spectacular and done so in a rather quick fashion compared to oven baked actions.
To truly love this product to its fullest, I can see having to own two of them and to use them to cook the protein and the side product nearly simultaneously (or as timing would permit). If I could have an entire meal using the components all cooked in this, this would be culinary heaven.
This product is that good.
I cooked hamburgers in this and they were really delicious as well. But the problem was that I also wanted fries with my burger and I'd have to resort to the awful oven to have them cooked or I'd have to cook the fries in the air fryer of the grill and then undercook them and to put them into the oven to keep them hot while I fired up the grill again to get the unit hot enough for the burgers. And trying this several times resulted in subpar meal items.
If I were to build the ultimate NInja grill, I'd have the unit as it is with a smaller side air fryer combo that would allow for superb items cooked the foodi way.
Alas, the choice is to cook one part of the meal the foodi way and to suffer cooking the other portion the old fashioned way - a cast iron skillet for the steak, burgers, or chicken. And that makes a very expensive air fryer if you ask me. Or I can cook the proteins and fix rice or mashed potatoes and wish I'd had something air-fried.
Make no mistake here - this product is awesome. And I want more!

I've had other portable external drives but this one seemed just a cut above all of the others.
First, this drive came with two cables - usb-c and regular usb cable. It is nice to have a choice though you'll be limited with what your MAC will offer for ports. If you have a dongle that adds ports, this is an added feature that I was not expecting.
Hooked my drive up to usb-c and the operating system did its thing and recognized the drive and after a bit, I was backing up my ssd drive onto this external drive. The speed was very good though I didn't get what the box said I would. Perhaps my Mac was older and that prevented me from reaching those top speeds.
The case is impressive and appears to be very durable for travel.
I've had WD drives before and not had an issue with them so I expect this to be the same. I really like the 2TB (more like 1.78 TB) space and you won't go wrong choosing this.
Added feature is the encryption option. I have not worked with that aspect yet.

This could possibly be the best mouse I've ever used.
This mouse has its own internal battery; you do not have to supply any batteries which was a welcome change from most. Supplied in the box is a usb cable to a proprietary connection that serves two purposes:
1. It is the charger for the mouse and the mouse indicates it is charging by the finger wheel lighting up and pulsing during charge. At full charge, it turns off the light.
2. Then when you are finished charging, you plug in the small rectangular connection that has the dongle for the mouse, and you then immediately get to use the mouse as any normal wireless mouse.

I found this mouse to be amazing in smoothness and no lag whatsoever. It connected immediately and the movement that my hand made was instantly showcased on the screen.
The mouse in operation has the finger wheel and Logitech logo lit up with changing RGB illumination. This looks wonderful and when you don't use this, you can turn it off with the switch underneath. To make the unit fit your needs in terms of weight, there is an addon weight that can be added under the mouse in a spinning cover.
This is a logitech product so you know it is a great product - I have found that there is no competition here for Logitech products - I made the mistake and bought another brand and regretted it. Here I am with another Logitech product and it is fantastic.
The mouse is also larger than some mice, but it fit my hand so well that I quickly adapted to it and the buttons are configurable as well for tension/click feel. Very nice.

I had a tight budget with which to purchase a new laptop - I've been searching for months and nearly purchased a Dell (my preferred brand) on their website.
I happened to shop online at Bestbuy and discovered this computer for $329.99 - it hit every need that i had - and the ram was upgradeable for future needs - it was not a Pentium or Celeron processor which was a plus. Has a fifth gen i3 - and it simply exceeds what I expected at this price point.
I am so pleased with this purchase - the screen does lack a bit on contrast, but when hooked to HD monitor, the monitor resolves that. It streams Hulu and Netflix really well.
For the price, this unit is hard to beat.

Follow up remarks after a week or so of usage

Had purchased a laptop for my niece for Christmas, upgraded her Dell from 4 to 8 gb of ram - had her spare 4 gb ram and replaced the 2gb one in this laptop - performance upgrade was noticeable making laptop now an 8 gb unit.
I was curious about maxing out ram to the 12 gb limit noted and secured an 8 gb stick for $45 elsewhere and installed yesterday. Not as much difference in performance as going from 6 to 8 gb, but it is nice to have the ram at a great price - now unit still hasn't cost me $400 in total costs.
This is a great computer for the price - 5th gen i3 makes a big difference over the i3's from the past that I've used. The more I use this the more impressed I am with it. At this price it even outperforms some computers the company I work for has purchased at double the price.
I would definitely buy this again and another made by Asus.

I found this product to be less than satisfactory for anything but limited use.
First, installation is not intuitive - like some new products, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS - it has something that must be a picture based set of instructions, but it does not give you any clue what to do beyond 1 and 2. It does not tell you what to do next. You will have to go to bluetooth on your device and activate the pairing from a listing. Not sure why this was not mentioned at all. Volume controls are not described at all - they are the - and + signs on the body (in yellow).
Second, sound is okay - that is why I note it is limited. Better than nothing but certainly not great sounding.
Third, no instructions on charging this - there is a piece of ill fitting rubberized plastic at the base that hides the micro usb charging port. You'd think at least it would be labeled or ingrained with "usb".
I guess if you need a portable speaker for some device that is water resistant, this is okay. I wonder why you'd need one since I'd never put anything electrical near water.
I'm over 50 and I see no use for this other than to leave it in a place where I don't have speakers and to use it on a limited basis. Instructions are awful to non-existant and those debits are what bring down this score.
Too cute for its own good.

Since the initial write-up, I have found that this device works fine around the house if I needed to listen to iHeart radio from my tablet. The sound is acceptable and its portability is good though the small yellow cord really is of no use.

The advertisement and stated processor says its a 9th gen i7-9700 however if you click on the pdf information for this computer it states that it is an 8th Gen i7-8700? Also indicates that graphics are onboard and not the GPU?
I have one of these new ones and it is definitely a i7-9700.

The point of this is to distribute wireless internet connectivity around the house. If all you want to do is to network computers, there are far better options. And I didn't find this system to be very good at doing what it was designed to do. Buy something else for less money.

No - but when you first use it - go to desktop live tile, use Internet Explorer and download "classic shell" - install the free app - it restores start menu and makes the computer look like Windows 7 and you still have the live tiles to use later as you get used to it.
I've found that on every Win8.1 machine I've had, it far exceeds the speed of Win7. In fact, after using 8.1, 7 seems like Vista.

Made in China and very cheap product - almost all plastic except for metal band inside the frame. Based on reviews I was expecting superb quality - well, this is budget cheap in construction.

Are the PX100 or 200 compatible with windows based PC?
Have an iPhone 3G would like to use the same headphone with my windows 7 computer...I travel so the folding is a great feature...
Works with my windows 8.1 laptop just fine. Just beware that the cord is shortish.
