Larger than before, but not necessarily better

My initial impressions of this Dyson product were mostly positive during the first week of usage. This is a powerful unit that works well on carpets and wood floors alike.
But, having also owned a V7 unit, I must say that the V11 is not necessarily superior to the smaller and older unit.
The V11 is huge - whereas the V7 had the debris canister mounted vertically to the handle which resulted in a compact design, the V11 adds huge horizontal space that makes the entire vacuum rather bulky - not a problem if you are going to use this to replace and upright vacuum, but in smaller uses like vacuuming cars, the V11 is nearly impossible to use effectively; the V7 is vastly superior in tight application uses. The smaller and lighter construction of the V7 just makes the V7 better to use if you are looking for a lightweight, portable cordless unit.
During the first week of usage of the V11, I found it to be less likely to clog than the V7, but this was simply not a real world attribute as the more I used the V11, the more likely it was to clog and start to show intermittent starts and stops. Once again in overall daily usage, the V7 clogs somewhat, but not nearly as frustrating to use as the V11. I also found the V7 clog issues to be more easily resolved than those of the V11 which was becoming frustrating to use even though it has an indicator on the top of the unit that tells you where the clog is. I couldn't trust this as it often said the unit needed to be dumped even though it had just been dumped.
Buy the V7 and save some money if you can; the V11 is good, but it is not better.

I have long had a mishmash of pots and pans acquired as I needed something, but the consistent factor with these was that they ultimately stopped being effective with chipping non-stick or peeling paint.
With the acquisition of my first full cookware set here by Calphalon is a revelation!
The metal handles did not get hot in use which was surprising to me - I would have thought they would conduct heat. The pans seemed to heat up faster than the other pans that I had. The non-stick surface seemed even better than I could have imagined - things literally slide off these pans.
The really nice feature about this cookware is that it is stackable - something that is important to me having a small kitchen with not much storage space. I'm not sure if this is a novel feature, but it is well executed here with 8 and 10 inch pans that are the right size for the kitchen that I have.
I would highly recommend these!

I had a much cheaper set of headphones with a microphone that were actually quite good for the money but I needed to upgrade due to their cheap plastic overall construction.
And so I set forth trying this Logitech surround sound unit.
The first thing you'll recognize is there is some "heft" to this headphone. The construction is first rate and these are very comfortable to wear. The ear covers are larger than what I had and are truly covering the ear. While these seem heavy in comparison to the lighter weight unit I had, these are so comfortable that in a two hour session I used to test them, that I forgot I was wearing them.
Sound reproduction is quite good. I tested using the audio cable that came with the headset and plugged into the audio port of the gaming desktop I had; there are usb and a connector that splits the speaker and microphone into two connections if needed.
For the price of this headset you really cannot beat the comfort and overall quality of the sound; I was impressed that people were actually able to hear me clearly with this unit when I communicated with them; the swing arm microphone is able to be bent toward your mouth and there is no breathing sounds transmitted nor is there an issue with voice volume.
The volume controls are logically placed on the left ear cup and is large enough to feel without having to take off to locate; this is nice since the volume controls on the cheaper unit I had were not so easy to control and having the microphone boom able to swing up to deactivate when not needed was an improvement over the cheaper unit's sliding switch which was very small to activate.
And since I have had incredible past experiences with Logitech products in the past, this did not disappoint at all - it just continued my impressions that Logitech produces great products at a reasonable price.

Beautiful product - operating system warning!

WARNING - this computer comes with Windows 10 S - it will ruin your day by preventing you from installing programs. You can opt out of this mediocre system but don't think you can still add programs that you are used to installing on regular Windows 10 machines!
And yes, I opted out of the S mode and found the computer frustrating to use - I wanted to add my own anti-virus program, classic shell to get rid of the awful standard Windows 10 fake start screen, etc. This system will block you from installing.
Thankfully, I could install Google Chrome which mitigated some of the frustration with Edge (which is being discontinued anyway).
Positive Aspects ....
Build quality is superb - nice case, nice backlit keyboard and touchscreen Graphics look nice. Sound is simply average.
For the money, I have seen better from HP that don't have this horrible restriction of what you can and cannot install on the computer.
I cannot recommend this for anyone who is serious about using a computer - if all you do is to play youtube videos, you'd better get a chromebook - this is such a disappointment - wonderful looking hardware on the outside with tablet convertibility only to be sabotaged by operating system restrictions evidently due to the compromise of having an ARM processor. Do not consider this if you want a serious computer. This is barely a step up from a tablet.

I am not sure why this device exists – aside from possibly combining several remotes into one remote, this thing has absolutely no value. I am no novice to technology – I repair laptops and desktop computers. This device is baffling and frustrating. And it nearly flew across the room before I put it back in its box. It is simply not good enough to buy and is overkill to the max on what it says it can do and what it really can do.
It is complex to set up and is frustrating in its obtuse nature to comprehend what instructions are provided.
This is supposed to be a remote, but it needs to spend much time on its charger to do at least three updates and then odd reasons that only its maker knows.
I have several wireless options here at my house – even when the unit was placed next to one of the know working wireless network, the device refused to connect; when I placed it next to the second known working wireless network, it worked just fine.
Connecting the unit to the tv and to the roku were easy; the bluray player worked somewhat leaving many buttons off and impossible to navigate horizontally on the bluray player menu. If all I wanted was to play bluray disks, this would work. However, this unit is very expensive and should be able to do more than metaphorically crawl.
As to the other use, to set up locations with those white circular devices, this is one of the most obtuse and non-understandable technological devices I’ve seen. I got the pointer to work on each of the white dots and it saw the blue lights to calibrate. Beyond that it became useless for anything. I’m not sure what to do as the instructions are very bad and the readout on the menu is worthless.
Save your money and buy something that will coordinate your various devices; there are much much cheaper options. The other stuff this device says it can do really is a waste of time. You can’t figure out what it wants or is asking and by the time you’ve figured something out, you burned a roast like I just did.
I would not recommend this at all.

Use the Google Smart Light Starter Kit to control the lights using just your voice. Set up in a snap: just plug in Google Home Mini, screw in the GE C-Life smart light bulb, and download the Google Home app to get started. Then just say "Hey Google" to dim, brighten, turn on and turn off the lights."

This worked as I would have expected - nothing remarkable other than the GE light that came with the Google product worked as it should; this is surprising since the very same bulbs I acquired last week have demonstrated a profound inability to work as they should (other than to light up). These bulbs are the same as the one that came with the google product and would not work with the google product (and the factory reset procedure is one of the worst ever designed so I gave up and just use them as bulbs).
The google product recognized the ONE GE bulb and there was an easy process to install.

This is one impressive thin laptop - it converts to a tablet when needed. Features a backlit keyboard and touchscreen and a very nice aluminum metal body and screen lid.
This boots and responds to input quickly.
This laptop is very lightweight and portable which would work well for a student or a business traveler who needs to take it on the move with them.
There is no CD/DVD drive though it does have a usb 3 and a usb c port where you can add a dongle or converter. No HDMI out port that I could see.
Had this machine running in 20 minutes with Windows and device updates with one bios update. Only problem was a windows activation error that was solved hitting the troubleshoot item.
Minimal bloatware installed.

Tried several different ways to get these bulbs to do more than to act as dumb bulbs. Instructions are almost non-existent and the ones on the box don't work. Ended up finding a youtube video with some of the most ridiculous steps to reset the bulbs. Downloaded the app for android and found that these bulbs don't work at all other than to act as regular dumb bulbs. I was well within 40 feet and tried to connect. Cut the distance in half. No connect. Stood under the bulb and same nothingness.
Cannot recommend something that doesn't work. Avoid.

Replaced a BW Xerox laser printer (print only).
Needed to upgrade to an all in one laser that would allow me to scan documents to pc as well as to print receipts for clients.
Setup was easy following the wonderfully large set up instruction guide. Wifi connection was a breeze following these instructions.
Actual printing is quick though this unit is considerably noisier than the Xerox machine it replaced. Speed of multiple prints is faster, however.
Scanned documents and it was okay in doing so - speed seemed a bit slow, but I'm used to the monster Ricoh machine upstairs that is blazing fast. Speed is acceptable for scanning, however, on light duty applications.
Set it up using mobile on my phone. Worked well.
About 15% larger in overall footprint than just a stand alone laser printer. I thought it looked much bigger but it fit in the space that I had and that is all that really matters.
Excellent print quality and I have set it down to toner saver to extend the print cartridge.
Unit was well packed and had several pieces of blue tape but they easily removed.

I am usually slow to adopt cloud-based services, but Office 365 has changed my perspective.

I love it.
Regardless of what computer I am using (I use several throughout the day), I can access and update my files without having to have them on my computers' drives.
I was so impressed that I moved my email access to outlook 365 for the same reason. Cloud based.
I do need to note that I am having issues getting emails to deposit into certain files on the online version. There are rules set but the online is not sifting through incoming and putting these certain emails where I want them kept. Likely a user problem but I want to be fair that this is an issue. I did not have this issue with the one on my main laptop where i used the "program" to do some archiving early on.

I had a tight budget with which to purchase a new laptop - I've been searching for months and nearly purchased a Dell (my preferred brand) on their website.
I happened to shop online at Bestbuy and discovered this computer for $329.99 - it hit every need that i had - and the ram was upgradeable for future needs - it was not a Pentium or Celeron processor which was a plus. Has a fifth gen i3 - and it simply exceeds what I expected at this price point.
I am so pleased with this purchase - the screen does lack a bit on contrast, but when hooked to HD monitor, the monitor resolves that. It streams Hulu and Netflix really well.
For the price, this unit is hard to beat.

Follow up remarks after a week or so of usage

Had purchased a laptop for my niece for Christmas, upgraded her Dell from 4 to 8 gb of ram - had her spare 4 gb ram and replaced the 2gb one in this laptop - performance upgrade was noticeable making laptop now an 8 gb unit.
I was curious about maxing out ram to the 12 gb limit noted and secured an 8 gb stick for $45 elsewhere and installed yesterday. Not as much difference in performance as going from 6 to 8 gb, but it is nice to have the ram at a great price - now unit still hasn't cost me $400 in total costs.
This is a great computer for the price - 5th gen i3 makes a big difference over the i3's from the past that I've used. The more I use this the more impressed I am with it. At this price it even outperforms some computers the company I work for has purchased at double the price.
I would definitely buy this again and another made by Asus.

I found this product to be less than satisfactory for anything but limited use.
First, installation is not intuitive - like some new products, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS - it has something that must be a picture based set of instructions, but it does not give you any clue what to do beyond 1 and 2. It does not tell you what to do next. You will have to go to bluetooth on your device and activate the pairing from a listing. Not sure why this was not mentioned at all. Volume controls are not described at all - they are the - and + signs on the body (in yellow).
Second, sound is okay - that is why I note it is limited. Better than nothing but certainly not great sounding.
Third, no instructions on charging this - there is a piece of ill fitting rubberized plastic at the base that hides the micro usb charging port. You'd think at least it would be labeled or ingrained with "usb".
I guess if you need a portable speaker for some device that is water resistant, this is okay. I wonder why you'd need one since I'd never put anything electrical near water.
I'm over 50 and I see no use for this other than to leave it in a place where I don't have speakers and to use it on a limited basis. Instructions are awful to non-existant and those debits are what bring down this score.
Too cute for its own good.

Since the initial write-up, I have found that this device works fine around the house if I needed to listen to iHeart radio from my tablet. The sound is acceptable and its portability is good though the small yellow cord really is of no use.

The advertisement and stated processor says its a 9th gen i7-9700 however if you click on the pdf information for this computer it states that it is an 8th Gen i7-8700? Also indicates that graphics are onboard and not the GPU?
I have one of these new ones and it is definitely a i7-9700.

No - but when you first use it - go to desktop live tile, use Internet Explorer and download "classic shell" - install the free app - it restores start menu and makes the computer look like Windows 7 and you still have the live tiles to use later as you get used to it.
I've found that on every Win8.1 machine I've had, it far exceeds the speed of Win7. In fact, after using 8.1, 7 seems like Vista.

Made in China and very cheap product - almost all plastic except for metal band inside the frame. Based on reviews I was expecting superb quality - well, this is budget cheap in construction.

Are the PX100 or 200 compatible with windows based PC?
Have an iPhone 3G would like to use the same headphone with my windows 7 computer...I travel so the folding is a great feature...
Works with my windows 8.1 laptop just fine. Just beware that the cord is shortish.
