There are times when a moderately sized monitor works best, and this 23 inch Dell monitor offers a near right size for limited desk space areas. I wanted a second screen for a laptop but did not have a lot of space to use for something larger. I use a 20 inch screen at work and it is too small - I have a 27 inch that I use with a desktop and that was unnecessarily large. This 23 inch proved to be exactly what I needed - a larger screen than the laptop, but something that was manageable for use.
The image quality and colors are very good - I've used Dell monitors for years and have had great luck with them and I expect nothing different here. Good value for the money.
There is no height adjustment and limited angle adjustment on this monitor. Not a deal breaker for this application though you should understand this "limitation" before you consider.
I highly recommend this monitor if you need a smaller one for your application.

I've had previous Dell monitors and they've lasted - so long that I've had to replace them with something larger or better, but never because of failure.
I liked the quality of this monitor. We are not talking ab out a $500 or more monitor.
This says it is borderless though there is still a bit of a border, but on a monitor, the border doesn't matter that much unless you are pairing several monitors together. The border is no more than an alienware monitor I have.
This does not appear to have a height adjustment though it does pivot.
Colors and display is crisp and excellent.
This is a quality piece and I'd highly recommend it.

Wonderful feeling headphones - Poor Execution

This set of headphones arrives in a beautiful box and is well packaged.
The headphones feel amazing when put on one's head and it just feels right.
I hooked this up via audio jack on phone and it worked just great. I did a phone call using the headphone and the audio to me was great; for the other party however, there was interference that made the audio distorted. Relocating the phone solved the problem; on a much cheaper set of headphones, there were none of these issues.
I then was anxious to try this on my Dell gaming desktop that also has other alienware items like keyboard and mouse and monitor. Having experienced wonderful performance from those items (and superb quality build), I wanted to love this headset.
Unfortunately after repeated tries, this thing is junk - kept saying "connected". Shut off headset and restarted repeatedly. After thinking that I had solved the problem with a fresh installation of the Alienware software for the headphones, the "Connected" sound repeated.
This is not a cheap unit - its software is complete junk and the headphone feels and looks great but has significant performance issues.
There are superior gaming headsets whose software is not awful. I don't know where the problem with this unit is - I can build and repair computers so I'm no novice. I carefully tried settings and reinstalled software - rebooted the computer several times. But sadly this thing is so irritating that it will go back in the box and the cheap unit I had which works flawlessly will return to the computer.

I have a pair of wired headphones (with a microphone arm) for my laptop that doesn't put all that much sound out through the audio jack and I was looking for something better.
Well, I've found it.
This headphone with swing arm microphone is not only comfortable to use over the ears but it solved the lack of significant sound output that the previous headphone had.
What you'll notice when unboxing this wonderful set of headphones is the attention to detail that is put into the product. There is a carrying case which contains the headphones. The usb cable contains a volume control that is flat (with a circular pad to not mar your table surfaces); the usb cable is looped in two locations and instead of just having a twist tie put on in an arbitrary fashion, there are two twist ties on each of the loops and they are wrapped tightly around the cable in such a fashion that it looks almost solid instead of a temporary wrapping. When someone puts this much detail into just the packaging, you know the product has to be special.
I was not disappointed with the sound and comfort. And the swing arm microphone has a tactile grip that you can feel click through as the arm is raised or lowered instead of just a loose feel of a arc motion. Again, this is a detail that is small, but indicated total quality overall when added to the other details. The head band which the individual ear pieces also has this grippy click feel to it - not just a compression catch that will wear out - this is first class.
The unit looks impressive as well - red insert on the head piece that goes over the head and a red cable going to the audio controls (mentioned earlier). There is a faux metallic ring at the ear pieces, but it looks good and adds to the overall appeal to the unit.
The sound is very good considering this is a portable headset that has ear pieces that swivel to take up minimal space in your bag. Again, this unit did better than a gaming wired headset I bought last year that had an audio jack to put into my laptop. This new unit had a significant upgrade in sound quality and volume over my existing unit.
This unit is worth the money. Attention to detail and nice touches make this superior to other choices in the portable headphone (with microphone swing arm) headsets out there.

I've lived long enough to experience smaller, thinner, and more versatile computers with promises by companies that just go unfulfilled by the reality of their products.
Going into this test, I had a pre-conceived notion of unpleasant things experienced about HP computers. For this reason of prior disappointments, I had no second thoughts about testing this model - I wanted HP to show me what they were made of!
I want to say this LOUDLY and CLEARLY - this is ONE OF THE BEST LAPTOPS I've ever used for activities that do not include video editing or game play.
This is hands down my favorite laptop ever when it comes to daily use and to do things that don't require loads of ram or processor cores to pull off the activity.
VERSATILE - this laptop is right-sized - it is so portable, yet it also allows you to convert to a tablet in either portrait or landscape mode - ideal for certain activities like playing videos.
FAST - with the SSD this is blazing fast at boot up and shut down - other activities are also helped - it is surprising how quickly the SSD is consumed once adding programs like I use in web design. I'll store the data elsewhere off the SSD in a more robust storage arrangement, but this unit is delicious to use in its responsiveness.
TRACKPAD HEAVEN - while it took some getting used to about the larger than usual trackpad, the fact that it responds to right clicks and left clicks like a real quality laptop used to (much better than my ASUS or ACER units I have in my office). I no longer feel the desire to need a mouse to bypass a horrible trackpad.
KEYBOARD - nice big buttons - back lit so well you can see what the keys say! Nice touch and precious little keyboard flex. Very solid.
THE SCREEN - true HD - am now addicted to watching movies on this - crystal clear - nice color - pretty decent contrast - and it is a touchscreen! This unit is sweet!
QUALITY - this is not a very expensive unit so the attention to detail on assembly and materials is first rate. I don't know if this is plastic or metal in construction (feels and looks like metal), but this is one unit that won't embarrass you in using. And that chocolate grey finish is very premium in execution.
ARE THOSE REAL SPEAKERS? For once there is a laptop on a budget that produces nice sound that won't have you running for earphones. This has a Bang & Olufsen audio system and it is very good for the price - this is not a high performance machine, but these speakers do the computer justice nonetheless.
CONCLUSION - I've been using computers since the days of fortran - I've never liked a computer this much - it is not a high performance diva - it is a solid do most things well product that won't disappoint. One of my colleagues bought a computer built by the fruit company that cost well over $1299 and was light and small like this - but hers looked like a toy compared to this.
HP - you've done yourself proud with this high quality, light, versatile, and fast computer. This is a joy to use and now has become my go to unit for most things.
You can buy a faster machine - you can buy one with more ram - you can buy one for more money or a bigger machine - but this might just be the best all around laptop on the market for under $1k. You also get two usb ports, a usb c, a microsd slot, and a battery that seems to give better than average charge life. The unit does not overheat. It is well balanced and made me a believer in HP being able to built superb computers.

I am no stranger to over the air HD antennas.
I've owned several of the popular flat brands (one with power boost) and have found them to be easy to use and fairly robust in performance.
The one thing I didn't like about them was that they were primarily designed for interior use.
Having a chance to work with this Antop antenna gave me a chance to see how the company constructs its products and to see the performance as compared to a leading brand.
My review has been delayed due to weather - too much clear weather - and from experience, I realize that a wonderful interior antenna that works when it is clear does not make a wonderful antenna when it is rainy. I finally had a chance to test this unit in inclement weather and its performance was above expectations.
I too want to congratulate Antop for a remarkable portfolio of information and the instructions for set up were fairly easy. I have chosen to not mount this on anything because I know that location of the antenna is important and I've been moving the unit around trying to maximize its reach when using the various broadcast signal maps that are available.
PERFORMANCE
I was able to bring in several more channels with this unit than I was with the flat antenna from a competitor. I won't cover anything about signal strengths - I'll deal with PICTURE QUALITY - there is definitely less pixelation with this brand than the other one. Almost all HD channels were crisp and remarkable in their LACK of pixelation; those channels that are still not HD quality were for the most part better in presentation than the other brand.
RECOMMENDATIONS
If you can get this model with a signal/power booster, I'd buy that right away. As a test, I hooked this up to the signal booster that came with the competitor's product and the results were so much better than the competitor - this is a true apples to apples comparison. Spend the extra money and get the boosted version. I've loved the results so much my antenna is running boosted now.
CONCLUSION
If you can have an external antenna (mine is on my apartment porch on the second floor), then choose this without any equivocation; I did try this on the interior of the apartment with mixed results; it clearly rocks on the exterior application for which it seems. It is durable in construction and has mounting hardware for different applications or it can be used with its stand (which I'm using) as I tinker with locations for improved signals.
I definitely recommend this!

This is my first sound bar and I must say that I am blown away by the performance of this.
Instructions were very straight forward and in less than 10 minutes, the unit was working as it should and provided sound that exceeded my expectation. I am no audiophile so if I can install this, anyone can.
The unit is fairly long but sat at the base of my tv and really has a nice look about it. The unit came well packaged and the app for the phone pretty much gave the installation step by step procedures that were clear to follow.
I also like that I am able to add additional soundbar components to this (app asked if there were additional ones).
I look forward to hours of enjoyment with this and potential upgrades in the future.

I love to draw. I love using computers. I was expecting that this might be a nice way to combine the two "loves" and so off I went to get this product.
I can't think of anything about this product that I would recommend, however.
INSTALLATION IS A NIGHTMARE
I am not sure why companies continue to put instructions into a product in the smallest size possible and where font and color are nearly useless to read. The "instructions" for this are a multi-fold tiny thing where the IMPORTANT setup URL is printed in small font and in light blue - I'm sorry, I wear glasses and it was almost impossible to read the CRUCIAL setup information.
What should have taken 5 minutes ended up being a 15 minute exercise in hating the product. Once I was able to successfully get the setup URL typed in, this thing continued to be a clunker of a product - install the software for this and you have to restart the computer. Then you have to go back to the setup area of the website and then you find you have to register the product - mine did not automatically register even though it was recognized by the computer via bluetooth. Only after I installed the updated driver did the service recognize the device and automatically register it - and you have to register in order to get the free software that comes with it.
USAGE
The pen sucks - it is not well designed and I'd hate to work with it - the setup guide was horrible in configuring hitting buttons on the pen and then going to the right corner. It is as if the designers of this pen assumed we've used one before. The more I used it the less likely I'll ever use it.
CONCLUSION
I don't know why you would buy this - it is not well designed and is fairly cheap in construction - the pen is awful in weight and overall design - it is like holding a heavy straw cut down in height. And since the support on the website is rather tepid, the ONLY way I'll ever learn to use this thing is to use it. And it is not intuitive which means I'll likely let this collect dust.
I would not recommend this - or - go to a store and actually see if there are real products you can test to see if they are any good. This one is designed to a specific low price point and is not ready for prime time.

Very nice camera and system

This is a very nice, high quality "security" camera that senses motion and captures video as well as allowing you to login to see what is happening at the current time as "live".
I especially liked the feature where you can go back for the "Activity" and see what has happened in the past and there are replays of the snippet of "movement". The camera is sensitive. A moth set it off one time.
Set up is relatively easy though it was a bit of a chore to correct an errant wifi password, but after that was reset, the system has worked well.
Video quality is very good.
You will need a phone app to make this work based upon what steps I saw. But it is really nice to be away from home to see what the "kitten" is into while I'm at work.

Great performance; weak keyboard and trackpad

STRENGTHS
- Very quick setup compared to other recent new computer set ups; only two windows updates hit instead of the usual myriad which slows down actually using computer.
- Surprisingly little bloatware – usual free games
- Once computer was set up, five second boots were usual. Very fast
- Power brick actually has a cord running to the brick from the power outlet/strip – so nice not to consume two outlets for a brick like on some other laptops.
- Plays games well with no stutter or dropped frames in my tests. I will be adding more games later and adding an external monitor (HDMI output available).
- .I also was able to play several HD movies at the same time without lag via usb external hard drive. Would have been nice to play actual DVD’s without an external drive though when I played movies via external drive, there was no issue.

WEAKNESSES
- Keyboard is “backlit” but it really is of little effectiveness – you see more of the key surrounds than of the actual key alphanumeric caption – it is actually no better than an unlit keyboard. I also never found the keyboard comfortable to use; this is not really particular to Acer as I’ve added external keyboards to recent laptops to overcome uncomfortable standard laptop keyboards.
- Trackpad – I prefer separate and distinct buttons under the pad and not built into the pad itself. I never found this trackpad to be comfortable to use.
- Much slower in processing videos than on my Desktop – could be I need to match the 16 gb that is in my Ryzen 7 desktop or it could be the i5 8th generation is not as effective as the Ryzen 7.

OTHER COMMENTS
Some might downgrade this for the plastic case, but this is less than $800 – money well spent on the equipment. This computer does not have a DVD drive. Nice enough laptop for gaming; light video work; memory can be upgraded to 32 gb. Also ran an external data hard drive with this and it worked flawlessly moving several gb files. While this is not a lightweight, it does offer good portable performance if you travel. And remarks about the weight are really not compelling since five pounds is nothing for a computer this size with this much gaming power. At this price point this laptop is competitive with others by competitors who don’t offer this much performance. Excellent overall performance masks keyboard and trackpad weaknesses (those can be overcome with external keyboard and mouse). Video editing likely will be improved with upgrade to 16 gb of ram.

I had a tight budget with which to purchase a new laptop - I've been searching for months and nearly purchased a Dell (my preferred brand) on their website.
I happened to shop online at Bestbuy and discovered this computer for $329.99 - it hit every need that i had - and the ram was upgradeable for future needs - it was not a Pentium or Celeron processor which was a plus. Has a fifth gen i3 - and it simply exceeds what I expected at this price point.
I am so pleased with this purchase - the screen does lack a bit on contrast, but when hooked to HD monitor, the monitor resolves that. It streams Hulu and Netflix really well.
For the price, this unit is hard to beat.

Follow up remarks after a week or so of usage

Had purchased a laptop for my niece for Christmas, upgraded her Dell from 4 to 8 gb of ram - had her spare 4 gb ram and replaced the 2gb one in this laptop - performance upgrade was noticeable making laptop now an 8 gb unit.
I was curious about maxing out ram to the 12 gb limit noted and secured an 8 gb stick for $45 elsewhere and installed yesterday. Not as much difference in performance as going from 6 to 8 gb, but it is nice to have the ram at a great price - now unit still hasn't cost me $400 in total costs.
This is a great computer for the price - 5th gen i3 makes a big difference over the i3's from the past that I've used. The more I use this the more impressed I am with it. At this price it even outperforms some computers the company I work for has purchased at double the price.
I would definitely buy this again and another made by Asus.

I found this product to be less than satisfactory for anything but limited use.
First, installation is not intuitive - like some new products, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS - it has something that must be a picture based set of instructions, but it does not give you any clue what to do beyond 1 and 2. It does not tell you what to do next. You will have to go to bluetooth on your device and activate the pairing from a listing. Not sure why this was not mentioned at all. Volume controls are not described at all - they are the - and + signs on the body (in yellow).
Second, sound is okay - that is why I note it is limited. Better than nothing but certainly not great sounding.
Third, no instructions on charging this - there is a piece of ill fitting rubberized plastic at the base that hides the micro usb charging port. You'd think at least it would be labeled or ingrained with "usb".
I guess if you need a portable speaker for some device that is water resistant, this is okay. I wonder why you'd need one since I'd never put anything electrical near water.
I'm over 50 and I see no use for this other than to leave it in a place where I don't have speakers and to use it on a limited basis. Instructions are awful to non-existant and those debits are what bring down this score.
Too cute for its own good.

Since the initial write-up, I have found that this device works fine around the house if I needed to listen to iHeart radio from my tablet. The sound is acceptable and its portability is good though the small yellow cord really is of no use.

The advertisement and stated processor says its a 9th gen i7-9700 however if you click on the pdf information for this computer it states that it is an 8th Gen i7-8700? Also indicates that graphics are onboard and not the GPU?
I have one of these new ones and it is definitely a i7-9700.

Do you have to have internet connection to make it work
The point of this is to distribute wireless internet connectivity around the house. If all you want to do is to network computers, there are far better options. And I didn't find this system to be very good at doing what it was designed to do. Buy something else for less money.

Made in China and very cheap product - almost all plastic except for metal band inside the frame. Based on reviews I was expecting superb quality - well, this is budget cheap in construction.

Are the PX100 or 200 compatible with windows based PC?
Have an iPhone 3G would like to use the same headphone with my windows 7 computer...I travel so the folding is a great feature...
Works with my windows 8.1 laptop just fine. Just beware that the cord is shortish.
