Great All Around Printer

This review is for the HP Neverstop MFP 1202w Wireless Black and White All in One Laser Printer. HP has always been a great reliable brand of printer for the last 20 years. I remember having a Laserjet Printer in high school. This printer is a great continuation of that same quality in 2020. It took less than 15 minutes to set everything up. I downloaded the very handy HP Smart App. You can use it to copy scan, print photos etc all from your smartphone and it gives diagnostics on the printer as well. Printers always used to be very cumbersome back in the day and I feel like HP has taken the printer and more it user friendly and accessible for anyone. My mom could easily use this app and navigate the printer with 0 problems and that what makes a good product. The printing speed of the fast, and the printer is responsive to all commands. I've had zero issues so far. Ink lasts for a long time supposedly that will take months to test but all in all I am very happy with this printer. It does exactly what its supposed to do and then some. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

The Sony Shooting grip with Wireless Remote does exactly what its supposed to, be a perfect compliment to an already great camera. The setup of this unit took less than 2 minutes and has operated smoothly since. The functions are simple but user friendly. There's a basic photo and movie button and then a custom function command that is useful for switching focusing modes on the fly. The unit itself is lightweight but sturdy enough to handle the weight of the camera easily. I like how the grip doesn't just flop over when you unscrew the right side. You have to physically push the left side button in after unscrewing in order to adjust the angle. That makes me feel like the camera will hold its place and will be stable throughout. The photo button works well but is slightly touchy in terms of wanting to just focus instead of shoot. I do like the fact that it also doubles as a mini tripod. Anyone who does blogging or does any kind of video reviews will find this VERY handy. I am planning on using it to do product reviews and it will be very beneficial. The one slight I will say is if you're looking for this to be an alternative to a DJI Ronin it is not the same product. For someone moving forward and backward and side to side it works fine. But if you like to pan from top to bottom or left to right without moving everything is manual and wouldn't be feasible to do by hand. But all in all I really cant recommend this grip enough. If you were planning on using this camera for video its a no brainer. Even if you aren't a big video guy this is probably one of the best accessory for a camera system I've seen in a while. Well done Sony!

The Sony Mirrorless Alpha 6100 is a fantastic lightweight mirrorless camera and excels at travel photography.
I'm not going to go over all the stats because if you're reading this review you probably want to know how it performs and have read over all the technical stuff already. New sensors and Megapixels and frames per second are great, but most people don't print billboard size photos. 24 MP is more than enough for anyone who's going to print 4x6, 8x10, 16x20, etc size photos. And most cameras have been capable enough for most average users for years. The big thing with mirrorless is the shutter is now gone and has opened up a lot of possibilities for low light shooting, video and longevity. I have been a heavy Nikon User for the last 10 years. Owning many Dslr's and I even have the Nikon Z6 mirrorless. Sony has been gaining a ton of ground in the camera market so I've been interested to see how a new mirrorless would perform. And honestly I hate to say it but this little camera is a fierce competitor to a much more expensive Z6. The autofocus and shutter is crisp and concise, the ISO noise handles low light well, it's 100% a perfect travel camera because it's so lightweight and inconspicuous.
The Camera has standard shooting Auto modes for people who don't want to get too technical, Slow Motion Video Modes, and Panoramic modes that all function the way they should and are user friendly. The video auto tracking is fluid and pairs well with a Ronin-SC. The ronin balanced it perfectly and I'm now using the camera for walkthrough Real Estate videos in 4k. I will say that I wish that they provided a lens with a lower F/stop. 3.5 isn't low enough to get depth of field separation that most enthusiasts are looking for. People don't understand sometimes that a 1.8 lens will give them that beautiful out of focus image that they see everywhere. It's why Iphone created a portrait mode. Luckily since the lens is detachable you get a relatively inexpensive prime from Sony and solve that problem. The only big gripe I have with my use so far is during burst shooting. If you fire more than a few shots the camera has to catch up and write to the card delaying your next shot. This card was provided by Sony so I assume its a sufficient speed card to get the job done, so I'm assuming its a lag in write speed with the camera. The Electronic View Finder is very different then a traditional camera. With mirrorless you're no longer seeing a reflected mirror image of your subject you're actually looking through a "digital" viewfinder thats projecting the image, kind of like a TV. It took me some getting used to it at first, but after a while you get used to it. I do like that the EVF in manual will adjust the picture to your settings to show you your photos are too dark. It's like a failsafe for photo exposure. Once you find your way around the camera for a bit the controls feel second nature. I liked the amount of flexibility with Manual mode as thats where I normally shoot with my Nikons. I was able to cater my shots exactly how I need to which is surprising for a entry level camera.
I really do think we are in the golden age of digital cameras. This Sony is a super capable mirrorless camera that does everything a normal person or even a videographer would need for a fraction of what it cost 5 years ago. Overall the camera is easy to use for any photographer and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this camera if you're wanting to get into mirrorless with detachable lenses. This camera was made to travel with you!

Very useful for being portable

I have owned many different shop vacs before and was interested to see how the Hoover onepwr portable shop vac stacked up against my older craftsman. Setup for the shop vac took less than a few minutes. The unit itself is lightweight and has holders for all the different attachments and hoses. The suction is probably the only thing I wish was a little stronger. It’s not bad but it’s not the same as a normal plugged in unit. It’s able to pick up crumbs and dust in my car which is what i will primarily use it for. Not having any cords and being lightweight are it’s best features. If you’re looking for a decent portable shop vac you can’t go wrong here I just wouldn’t expect it to replace your craftsman for major construction jobs.

A great way to stay connected to Family & Friends

I didn't really realize how great this product was going to be until we finally had one in our home. The Facebook Portal device acts like a digital picture frame and a speaker and video caller all in one. It has Alexa capabilities and can connect to Spotify and Iheartradio. The main use of it though is for my fiance who is separated from her family who live in TN. She misses her mom dearly and they're very close. So now they cook together in the kitchen they talk over coffee on a saturday morning. They put the portal on the table in our family room and "watch tv" together. It's a really cool and simple device that really has greater communication abilities then I expected. Everyone has the ability to use facetime but a lot of the time people don't opt to use it because we are busy doing other things in the room. The portal makes it EASY to video conference without having to think about, and being hands free. So it really is a way to connect with a loved one and make them feel like they're in the room with you. I will be buying one of these for all of my best friends for Christmas who I don't see very often!

We were really wanting to love the Phillips Series 3200 Espresso Machine with Milk Frother, but after about 2 weeks of using it my wife is asking if we can hook back up our old Ninja coffee machine.
I was really excited to try this product out because I have been wanting a fancy espresso coffeemaker in my home for years now. We have some amazing Costa Rican coffee here that we were eager use. Don't get me wrong this is a great looking machine and setup was a breeze, it is very well thought out. I just wish the Coffee tasted better, period. The first few cups of coffee my wife and I could best describe them as murky dirt water. We tried to up the strength and it just doesn't make any difference. I do like the one push button simplicity but I wish I had sprung for the frother that automatically drips the milk into the cappuccino's. Using it separately with the cup we could never really get the milk to froth up properly and mixed just right with the coffee. It would have been helpful for some recipes or technique guides or online videos for someone who isn't as skilled at making espresso and cappuccino's.
I can understand that some of the more complicated drinks will take time to perfect, but I guess what it boils down to is that this coffee machine, while being simple to use, can't really do simple tasks well. All my wife wants is a good cup of coffee before her hospital shift and the fact that we are about to plug our 100 dollar Ninja coffee maker back in so she can have a better cup speaks volumes. I will still try to perfect the espresso's and cap's and basic cups of coffee to our liking going forward. But so far this Espresso machine has been a bit of a disappointment.

Great Monitor for Basic Computer and TV Use

This monitor is a great secondary addition to my Macbook Pro setup. Using an HDMI cable I was up and running within just a few minutes. There are 2 hdmi ports and one VGA, so fairly simple setup! The one con is the lack of USB ports. I have a lot of Hard drives and accessories so I usually tend to use a lot of USB inputs and this particular monitor has zero. So if I continue to use this setup I'm going to have to buy a USB hub, not a huge deal, but I think they definitely could have added at least 2 USB ports. The picture itself is bright but there seems to be a bit of light bleed around the outside edge of the monitor. Also if you sit too close to the monitor itself you can actually start to notice the pixels. Obviously for the price I don't expect a Ferrari of a monitor, but in 2019 we shouldn't really be seeing individual pixels. This monitor can double as a gaming or TV console as well, so thats a nice plus. I did notice that the monitor itself is supposed to be anti-glare and I can clearly see a reflection at certain times. But it doesn't affect the screen image enough to be a nuisance. All in all this monitor is a solid addition to my setup, but one that I will probably use as a secondary monitor because my 27 inch Apple Display is clearer imo.

This is above and beyond a better charger than the Apple charger. It has 2 extra slots for USB included in the charger itself. I can quick charge my cell phone and my laptop at the same time. This is a no brainer for me, the charger has held up well and it works perfectly. No need to spend more on an apple product when this does the job better.

By now everyone knows about the commuter and defender otterbox series. The otterbox has recently gotten sleeker, shedding alot of the extra bulk from previous generations, so I decided to go with this model for my Iphone 6. It fits the phone nicely, the only gripe I have with the case is there is a little bit of wiggle room at the top kind of like a gap between the hard and soft plastic. I'm not sure if this is true to all the commuters, I may go back tomorrow and try and find another commuter that might fit better.

Opted for the Symmetry

After having this case for almost a week now and the gap between the plastic not going away I decided to go check out the symmetry series. Although it doesn't have the screen protector, and the hole for the Apple logo on the back, I actually feel like the symmetry is sturdier and sleeker than the commuter.
On a side note I spoke with Otterbox about the commuter to see if maybe the case wasn't supposed to have the gap and it was a manufacturing issue. She said they had more than a few reports about it, and that they are looking into whether or not they need to make a change or whether it was a certain supplier that had the error. She told me to hold onto my case and check back in a few months and that if they made any adjustments they would gladly replace it for free. So worst case scenario you buy the case, it has a slight droop in it for a few months while you wait for Otterbox to perfect the case and then you call in and get a replacement for free because they already know about the issue.

Yes it can support up to 5. But with 3 you can cover a 6000sq ft house. So unless you live in a huge house you don't really need more than 3.
