Where Has This Technology Been?!?!

Y'all! This software is a cinch to use and did not cause me any hassle. I have over 5 products and the most ancient computer being a little under 9 years old even runs the program.
I am a huge skeptic when it comes to AntiVirus families of softwares because it often feels like once you download it they want to up-sell you to something you thought you were already buying.
So today within a matter of about 20 minutes I had all three of my major PCs installing, scanning, picking and prodding for any kind of unusual activity. It caught that my network could be open to hacking so I fixed the encryption and so on.
I won't bore you with my solutions but as a reader know that this software identified that my computers were in good health, it scanned efficiently, and the experience of the look and feel of the software is very friendly.
I am not a super-geek who can pick through my own computer and find an issue and other programs seem to scan your computer but then you have to go and find that needle in the haystack.
AVG took care of me today. The subscription is good for a year so I feel great knowing that my systems are covered.
I've never proactively sought out antiviral applications and i'm glad that Best Buy had this on hand to help me and my family out. With an ever evolving world of hacking and what not hopefully this adds another layer of help for me!

HD comes through Clear

So I live in Texas and the antenna picked up 30 channels most of which were in HD. The set up was easy and the channel scanning was a piece of cake.
The down fall to this is that it is an eye sore. I’ve tried to find some way to put it away and make it discrete but it just sticks out. I like it enough to keep it but I am going to have to be creative and figure out how to hide it.

Super Neat!

This light fits perfect in my place! It is neat because it gives the space a cool and spacious look and it’s neat because of the dimming features.
The hue app is awesome and it integrates easily with my Hue lightbulbs in the recessed lighting.
I can’t say I’ve found a flaw but there are so many reasons to get this light. Obviously it’s a compliment to the Hue set so don’t get this until you have the bridge.
The only difficult part was the instructions to install this left a lot of room for error. It needs a little more instruction because the depictions were a little rough to follow.
Love playing with the light and switching it on and off!

Packs a Punch with Great Sound

Harmon never disappoints and today was no different. My Invoke looks beautiful on my kitchen counter nestled amongst other tools.
The height is great, the crisp speaker grill is sexy, the matted turn dial for volume is smooth and I love that the lights are frosted and not cheap looking.
The sound is at the amazing Harmon standard and it has well rounded fullness. Mozart while cooking never sounded so amazing. I had people over while cooking some pasta and the Invoke performed to my liking and was a conversation starter.
Great speaker and my only refinement would be the Cortana app that supports Windows. I have Cortana on my laptop and it just isn’t seamless yet. I’m sure time will tell so don’t let that deter you! All holiday music will stream over the Invoke now!
I’m quite excited for more visitors to enjoy the Invoke with me.

Pretty Watch

I’ve had my watch for about two weeks now and I am at the gym quite a bit.
Moreover, I like to take hikes on nature trails in town and just get lost among the trees in the creeks.
The GPS feature is great for tracking those excercise outings and it is lightweight and not fussy or jazzed up.
Unfortunately the application and platform fell short for me. It felt replicated and resembles other applications, where those other apps carry more functions.
Set up was not as easy as I wanted it to be and the charging cable is tricky so if you get this watch make sure to verify that the charging clip is sitting in the right spot.
This is a good starter watch for someone who is just jumping in on their healthy life and wants to to be able to track steps and other workouts. The watch does measure a few types of popular workouts so that is cool!

Super Handy and Ease of Use

So I've had some time to play around with the tool and it is great. With small business docs always changing and in the line of child care we like to keep applications up to date.
For our elder kids there are sometimes field trips so we need authorization from a parent. Using Adobe DC has really opened up the possibilities for how we get those executed.
What I abosolutely love is that I can use this on cross platforms and move from my PC to editing on my phone.
Although I am pretty familiar with Adobe I am glad the company provided to short and brush up on my document building skills.
Since it is the holidays we are going to attempt to get a sign in sheet for a potluck done with parents over the phone with the faun and simple eSignature feature.
Overall it is a simple but well-rounded program and I have always loved how the finished product looks with Adobe.
Be mindful that the set up can be a little longer than setting up an email account but the wait is worth it.

Perfect for Family Feasts

I received this stainless steel blender as a gift and it is amazing.
I don’t expect a blender to be quiet and boy does it do a great job of rustling up some good soup!
This week I made a gnocchi soup with left over turkey as a follow up to a big day. It was superb.
My old blender often left clumps of food or ingredients but the Blendtec really does blend anything.
Setting it up was a easy task and clean up was simple as well.
Be careful since I reached in and nearly slit my fingers grabbing onto the pitcher when I first unpacked it.
Can’t wait to use it next month for some more family and friend gatherings.
It sits nice on the kitchen counter and the stainless steel body is gives the kitchen an upgraded and tasteful touch without looking clunky.

If You're Always on the Go, wait.

This small device needs some refinement. I thought by having an older car that this would bring my dated car up to speed without wires and hassle. So far that is all I see when I set it up.
So if your car doesn't have Bluetooth built-in, or a AUX port then you'll have to listen to the commands over the built-in speaker. This device lacks a built-in FM transmitter. That would make this go the distance and to be able to stand going that distance.
I'm not such a huge fan of having to permanently add an adhesive sticker to my windshield so that the Garmin Speak can sit. So that is a bummer.
Looks cool, the colors are as bright as depicted in pictures and the box (if not brighter), the directions aren't as jazzed up as I thought. Their glow is washed out where I expected sharp white hues.
The idea of something the size of a tennis ball guiding me through a busy city like mine is awesome because it doen't add clutter but after realizing i'd have to buy another cord to beam over audio to the speakers, buy new adhesive stickers when this one becomes loose and I didn't realize to use this i'd have to nearly open two apps at a time to manager the Garmin Speak App and the Amazon Alexa portion of it which means there is some refinement needed here.
The plus side to the Garmin Speak is the Garmin Maps. I have used Garmin maps for over a decade and they are always updated, especially when you have a Garmin that has the traffic transmitter! I wish there was more to this little guy but it is the first of it's kind so hopefully there is a heartier, beefed-up version next time!

Ready Set Sweat

So if your ears require comfort, ease and great sound pick these JLAB Epic Air earbuds. I can see why they figured out a way to add "air" to the name because once you secure the loop behind your ear, you don't feel them. I was really concerned that I'd be hindered by some sort of hard plastic but they are made of some kind of soft silicon.
They feature a new technology to me... on the JLAB symbols on the earbuds there are gestures like a solid press raises or lowers the volume. That was really cool since other earbuds make you click something and pushes the earbud in which can be uncomfortable.
The actual sound of the music playing is unmatched in comparison to other earbuds. It's crisp and clarity of the output of sound in my ears was loud enough at the gym that I couldn't hear the plates of weights being racked like I normally do. I am the person at the gym who needs music to be able to function so I love them. The charging case is also made of this sleek silicone and has LED lights that show you how much battery is left in the charging case which is helpful at the gym.
Downfalls are when making a phone call the mic picks up every single outside noise that causes disruption on the call. At one point the person could hardly hear me. The Bluetooth needs refinement because at the gym it would randomly drop the signal and my music would stop so I would have to find my phone to restart the music. Finally, there is a small warning that says something like "don't let sweat in the charging case because it could ruin the earbuds and water could cause smoke". Well they are marketed as gym earbuds so moisture could build up so that was off putting. Not enough to get rid of them though because their sound is amazing and I plan on taking care of these!
Overall, the sound is really great on these so just make sure to not try to take calls on these and for your call to cancel sounds.

Durable, Lightweight Earphones

I first got the Backbeat Fit earphones as a gift and I was hesitant but interested as well because I have had Plantronic's Bluetooth phone headsets and they are always a crisp and high definition quality for talking over the phone.
These are very much the same and people say I sound great. I am sure you've gone through a pair or four of headsets that just don't cut it for talking on the phone while on your way to a workout.
Plantronics did not play with bass either. The sound is clear and pristine. The bass gives you a pump enough to drown out the loud machines or weight dropping at your gym.
These earphones are also so light your don't even feel them in your ear and the ear tips are soft and easy to fit. I love that the wire is nostalgic and reminiscent of a jump rope.
So these have great features and the design is very hip and trendy. As you can see in the picture they are simple and great stocking stuffers for Christmas. Um... I love mine that I'm going to get some for this year's white elephant party!
