Made To Withstand Pet Hair

I have learned in my later years of life that stick vacuums are awesome and lugging around a heavy one can be a task especially with multi-level homes and stairs like mine! The packaging was great, and sturdy so I don't feel like my machine was banged up in transit to me. Opening it felt very nice and every piece has a spot in the bag (nothing is crammed in like other machines which can be overwhelming with multiple pieces). Not this one.
Hoover's Fusion vacuum is amazing, with a quick charging battery that lasts much longer than my other one. I am most excited about the pet upholstery tool which is made of some type of rubber which works to collect the pet hair. It's cool and my dogs don't mind it being around. The thin crevice tool is cool as well because it can reach into fine places and corners that the brushes usually miss.
If you are looking for versatility then this cordless vacuum is it. The wall mount is easy to install and sits nicely in a spare closet which is unlike clunky vacuums with power cords. I'm not going to lie and say this guy is also coming with my to work because it's so easy to travel with and the cleaning team at work misses places and I can't wait to get those dust bunnies with the crevice tool.
Aesthetically it's beautiful and the purple hue is vibrant and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Clean up is simple as the canister is bag-less and within minutes it was good to see that my dark wood floors had hair I had missed. It told me that my vacuuming from a couple of days ago had missed important spots. It also showed me (literally) that the Hoover is worth it.
Glad Christmas is coming because this is going to be a great gift for my granny and I plan on trying to get her one as well.

It's like an la carte meal!

So I'll be upfront and say that like cable cutters who are going a la carte this will be my third security system in four years. The last two have had contracts or catches so I have high hopes already knowing that I won't be tied to something that could potentially be a bummer.
As you can see that the base is not an eye sore and sits beautifully at an entryway area without needing much space. I'm in my 72-hour test period of setup in any event I accidentally trip an alarm.
Of course my favorite part of this system is that my dog won't set it off. Some sensors have proven faulty in the past so he and I will be excited not to have to worry about loud noises (unless of course an intruder enters and then we'll be very thankful).
If you've gotten this far stay put, there are definitely pros and cons to this little package. So I love the cleanliness and design of the system. Everything is a soft white and will blend easily and there is really no fuss to installing anything because of the adhesive. I do worry that the adheisve will lose it's ability to stick for a long time. There is a voice guided lady who speaks softly to you letting you know what's going on with the system and that was neat. It was almost like a podcast voice that you just want to speak to you. The keychain provided to disable the system by hand instead of dialing in a pin is cool because of I have groceries in hand then I am just a click of a button away from arming or disarming the system. Most of all the fact that I can tailor the system with all sorts of cool ad-ons like the glass break sensor which I am getting!
Downfalls include, that when the system was delivered I could hear stuff moving around inside which sounded cheap. The defend system does not come with the siren which is vital to deter an intruder. Now the system can be quiet and send out alerts to dispatch police but I want the bells and whistles off the bat and you have to invest in that. I don't like that Simplisafe doesn't have a jazzed up version of the pin pad where I can control multiple sources of applications on a touch screen. Hopefully that comes in the near future!
As a whole the package is cool because I can build on it, and the subscription is fairly priced.

Sound Boasting and Minimalistic

I'll jump right in and say that Jaybird is on my radar for audio stuff now! In the past I've sort of just browsed by them at the store but these earbuds are no joke.
At the gym I have this thing where I need to turn the sound up loud enough to drown out my breathing. I also don't want to burst an eardrum so it is hard to find a happy medium.
The JayBird Runs have an application where you can make distinct alterations to the bass, treble and different types of music that you are listening to. Even BETTER, I played with the application and I can listen to music tailored to the way my favorite athlete listens to their music on their JayBird headphones.
I'd say that is show stopping since I have never seen this type of special feature with headphones of any sort.
The battery life is great and the darn charging case is cute as a button but also very cool that it is going to compliment my gym equipment and if I am running out of battery I just need to toss them in the case and for every five minutes they charge they boast quite a bit of battery life back in them.
I'm glad they provided different ear tips for a true and tailored fit but moreover, I love that they are minimalistic in the sense that they sit in my ear and don't call attention to my ears. They are sleek and skipping my tunes is great.
Overall i'm super excited to get back to the gym because of these guys and i'll tell you I put them through a test and listened to Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain Live" and I heard sounds that even other headphones I have didn't catch. My Avicci tracks sound great and Elvis did well during my workout playlist.
I'd say these are the best gift for the guy or gal in your life for any occasion and I might need another pair just because I want someone else to feel like me at the gym!

Quiet and Efficient

Shark’s Ion vacuum is a trendy and beautiful design. I will say I have had robot vacs of other brands and they are loud and somewhat invading. I have three dogs and they shed quite a bit so having a robot on hand is helpful for constant upkeep of the floors.
All three of my dogs napped while the Shark Ion hummed it’s way around the first floor of the house. That was awesome to watch and to know they weren’t afraid of it.
I have to say, it’s methodology of getting the job done is sporadic and there doens’t seem to be a algorithm to cleaning the floor but it is getting it done.
My favorite part is that it is slim enough to get under the COUCH! I hate dust bunnies but I refuse and admit i’m am too lazy to get under there myself. So in 40 minutes my first floor living room, kitchen, and entry way were cleaned.
I don’t really use the barriers that come with the robot because they aren’t attractive on the floor so there is that. To each his own.
The best feature is the scheduler to which you can use so that your floors are tidy when you get home from work which gives me such pleasure. I used it and our large area rug is so nice and clean when i’m home. The down fall is that if you have pets make sure to put their small toys away otherwise you risk causing an obstruction to your vacuum and it not finishing the task! I love this vacuum and the battery lasted the entire cleaning cycle. Previous ones had to recharge to then finish just one floor! I’m a very happy owner.

Perfect and Beautiful on my Counter Top

Day two of this bad boy and I have to say it is the bomb dot com! Alright so here's the thing, cleaning up blenders in the past has been the thing that keeps me at bay from taking the tool out to create a smoothie, mixed drink or what have you.
This Ninja cleans itself! You drop two drops of soap in, fill it up to the line and hit a button. 30 seconds later it's blended itself into almost complete cleanliness. You pour out the gunk and rinse it out! In the passed making anything with sticky chocolate is enough to make me cringe from cleaning up. Well I have made two meal shakes that contain, dates, cacao powder, protein, banana, almond milk and ice. All of which are sticky but I wouldn't know that because it was cleaned fast.
I'm the kind of person on the go, so when tasked with trying to figure out how to make something work for me when it should be simple and a breeze was as easy as snapping on the lid after poring in the ingredients. I was in awe. It does everything except pour the ingredients in there itself. The machine is beautiful and sits pretty next to my Ninja Coffee maker and to top it off the preset modes are a cinch. Best of all if you're still reading... I was surprised to see that there are suction cups as feet for the blender so I was nervous it would vibrate off the counter until I laughingly discovered even the aesthetic of staying in place was thought out.
Overall a cool design, a beauty for my counter tops and simple to use which everyone wants. The huge container is going to be a hit at my next family gathering when we make some frozen drinks!

Here Comes The Boom

So for me the neutral parts are the apps. They just don't feel like it bridges a connection for me between my visitors and having to have people get the app to join the party is sort of a funk. Now the color changing application is cool! I like to tailor all of my tech to fit my mood which brings me to the next subject of porting music over. Perhaps I am not a big fan of the music application but the ways to play music is insanely cool. I can Bluetooth music, use an auxiliary cord, a USB, audio input and output jacks, and I can also use a MIC all the while I'm playing music.
The speaker is a nice height with a lot of power to pack a punch. I've had it a week so far and I haven't had to recharge it (it's wireless)!! So I can keep it plugged into the power cord or I can take it with me to meetings and play music over the speaker and not have to be attached to a wall which I love. The aesthetic of the speaker is very updated in the sense that it has fun lights that will start a conversation and it's versatile by being able to lay it on it's side or stand it straight up.
The top three new things I found neat were the boost button for bass, the actual amount of sound it outputs (I am excited for when I get to max out the volume but I also don't want to upset a neighbor ha), and the audio enhancing feature which just comes with the speaker. I didn't realize the loss of crisp acoustic tunes until I compared the music to my other Bluetooth speaker and found that there's something here that I am loving.
Overall a wise addition to the family and when I'm ready I will definitely invest in a separate speaker to create a party chain where I can link the two speakers together. This is going to come in handy during work presentations when I have previously had so much trouble having my team be able to listen to my audio before. Well done Sony, the recent product lineup continues to amaze me. Two thumbs up, way up.

Sleek and The Picture is Great

So i’m a techie and a tv enthusiast! I’d list my top picks as I Love Lucy, Game Of Thrones and family sitcoms. I’m not really into reality tv. That aside, I am in so giddy that a channel plays I Love Lucy in HD and although the cable box I haven’t doesn’t stream 4K (yet) I am like a kid watching cartoons.
So regarding the picture quality I would say it is amazing. 55 inches of television wasn’t ever something I thought I needed but I am glad I got this set up in the living room. Paired with the great surround sound it feels awesome to just get a clearer picture than I had before.
The built in apps like Netflix and YouTube are great compliments to the system because prior to this tv I had to use some sort of secondary application to stream stuff.
It is a beauty. As you can see in the pictures attached I was watching a cartoon and it is so chic just propped between the entertainment center. It is super thin and is going to save me so much space unlike before.
Setup was as simple as plugging the power cord in, the HDMI cable in, setting up the remote and finalizing added features that are tailored to my needs. The built in WiFi chip picked up my network quick and there was no lag in loading images even at 1080p/4K which I am very pleased with.
I didn’t find any cons to this set and the sound even before plugging it into the surround sound was good. Feel free to ask me any questions about the TV because it is cool!

Crisp Picture with a tricky set up

So after prepping for presentations with my team this week and delving into the features that would be efficient in set up and break down for quick meetings and quick break-downs I have to say I am neutral on this projector.
The picture is amazing I will say that. By far a power packed and visually stunning image. I was able to play Ted Talks on the projector and it was crazy how clear the picture was. The attached picture was a feature of Mount Everest and you'll notice it's a bit of a sloppy set up but I needed to confirm it would be a smooth set up.
The mobile app needs refinement. It can cast slides but didn't make it easy to set up. It is great that the projector comes with a wireless connector but then you have to search for an access point, and then you can cast items from your mobile device but I dislike that you can only cast items that are capable of uploading through their application platform. So if you're trying to toggle between graphs, links, videos and such it will be hard. Now if you are hard wired to an HDMI cable you can do all of what I just said in a instant but you're tethered down.
It comes with cables to help with connecting to devices, the LAN wireless connector and this nice carrying case for easy travel and the speakers are okay. I didn't expect high definition sounds but that's alright since I connected it to a separate speaker for better coverage for my audience.
Overall, great, great, great visual and image quality, needs a easier/user friendly setup for mobile applications and the ability to cast from mobile devices without having to use the application.
Team meetings are going to be stunning now as opposed to huddling around a small computer when I can easily cover about 25 ft. of wall space in HD Widescreen where the colors look magnificent.

2-in-1 That Does the Job Quick

I have three dogs, and although they aren’t long haired dogs they shed more than I’d like to admit. This beauty and Bissell of course are doing really well in my home. My little Frenchie enjoys the game of chasing the new vacuum so now that I am walking around the house with the extension wand and absorbing all the corner spider webs and junk he likes to follow and just yelp. It’s a game we are enjoying currently!
I’ve had two Bissell machines in the past and they are really awesome so it was an easy decision to add the 2-in-1 to the bunch. Having 22 foot ceilings and stairs often creates a issue with getting to the fans, chandeliers and just hard to reach corners which helped when being able to take the tank and detach it to make it mobile.
The hardest part for me was installing the Febreeze air filter because the screw that is used to latch it in and out needs more than some force to get it out and switch. Otherwise, setup was easy, easy of use was nice, it projects itself really well on our huge 15 foot by 10 foot area rug and the dial to choose and adjust floor types is neat!
Within about 30 minutes I had all our common areas, stairs and nooks and crannies cleaned up with time to spare before bed. A great addition to any household for sure but a perfect one for our pet family! To top it off, Bissell donates $10 through the Bissell Pet Foundation for getting this vacuum so I am easily a big fan.

Priorities... Priorities!

This router does what it's told! My house shares gigabit internet with over 20 devices and some of them for for work and my roommate uploads terabytes of data at a time and so during our game of Destiny 2 last night it was awesome to be able to prioritize my Xbox and gaming above all the other interruptions that would normally kill my gaming.
Pretty neat and easy to setup and looks sharp next to the beer brewing kit as you can see!
I have contemplated posting it up in the tech closet since it it comes with wall mounting abilities so if I decide that it's too much of a distraction I like that I have that option.
Gamers... what usually takes me a 60-90 second window to load into a live game took me 30 seconds! That was amazing, and my roommate and I were able to post up in the game and there were no lags like normal. Haven't tried it on our PC games just yet because we got stuck playing online after setting this guy up!
Great addition to the household.
