Affordable Quality. Solid battery life.

Upon trying on the 505s I immediately found them to be quite comfortable and well balanced. Memory foam cushion ear cups and headband are of nice quality and provide sweat and moisture protection but NOT FOR RAIN. On ear controls are intuitive and extremely easy to access. I love the 18 hour continual use on a single charge and this DeepSleep mode which preserves battery power when the headset is not used for an extended period of time. Mid range audio and bass are well above average and quite frankly pretty good for the price value here. I utilized the mic for phone calls and people reported that I sounded crystal clear! The 505 drowned out background noise pretty well too. The 505s feel, sound and look good and it is hard to argue against it for the great price point here. The only negative I can see here is that I wish they are foldable for better portability. Very happy to have tried the 505 and recommend them to everyone.

I have always loved AVG and Avast for their free antivirus solutions. They always performed fast and caught all if not most malware on my machines. So with this premium version my expectation is somewhat higher. The tune up module works well and had some nice suggestions for cleaning up junk files and improving battery life. The camera trap feature is definitely great for better phone theft recovery too. User interface is intuitive and sleek because it is very easy to read and navigate which reminds me of the Bitdefender one a lot. The scanning and detection is very good of course and takes minimal PC resources when in use. The key selling point is mostly the unlimited devices you can install and use this product on. For me personally AVG Ultimate is not worth a upgrade to me as I do not possess enough devices to make it a great price value. I already found the free version of AVG to be great and while the additional features are definitely nice to have it is not justified for the marginally better virus protection.

I have used Malwarebytes non paid versions in the past and they have always done a fairly decent to good job protecting my computers. This latest iteration is no different and makes for a very good value product. The graphical user interface is clean and very simple to navigate. Scans are done surprisingly fast in the foreground or background without adversely affecting CPU or memory usage. Automatic updates and real time protection are most welcome. In a increasingly saturated PC security solution marketplace and whilst it does not fare quite as well as Bitdefender to me personally, Malwarebytes 3.0 is worth the price point and I am happy to recommend it to everyone.

Big window dial provides a clear and crisp reading. The overall build quality of the body is nothing special and is marginally average compared to rival running watches. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear. Prosense 17 has a nonchalant no frills appearance which I really do not mind. The reported battery life with GPS active is 13 hours and I was able to get about 11+. Connections to apps was sometimes dodgy but worked well for the most part. The Prosense 17 is not going to blow you away and is appealing to people who are delving into the recreational watch market for the first time. It is a decent to nice watch that is easy to learn and use from the start.

Best Chromebook. Premium Design. Very Fast.

I have always looked at Chromebooks with some skepticism as far as actual quality laptop alternatives but I started to change my mind with my recent purchase of a Lenovo Chromebook. Solid build quality, quiet operation and super fast. That leads us to this beautiful machine known as Pixelbook.
Upon taking the Pixelbook out of it's box, you can instantly feel the gorgeous aluminum design all over. Build quality is superb and a premium feel is also apparent. The keyboard is extremely comfortable and it's the best notebook keyboard I have ever typed on. The touchpad is built out of glass and is very responsive. It takes some getting used to clicking utilizing two fingers. The speaker quality is decent but I was hoping for far better considering the price point. Pixelbook contains no vents nor fans so it is super quiet during operation and heat issues are non existent.
Performance wise this machine is a monster with its 7th Gen Core i5, 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage. It is not designed for gaming and nobody should expect the Pixelbook to run any powerful production suites but so far I am able to play some very nice games from the web store and I am able to accomplish my work tasks utilizing Outlook and Google Docs. It runs on Chrome OS which limits it to the applications provided by the Android ecosystem but I am confident the variety and number of app offerings will increase over time. Google Assistant is built in with the simple push of a button and really works well.
Overall it is a beautiful looking machine that has a super premium feel and is incredibly fast. It comes down to adapting to Chrome OS for people who are more acclimated to Windows or Mac for instance and whether you value a Chrome OS ultrabook at these prices. I personally am able to accomplish all my work utilizing the available downloaded apps via the web store and also use Google Docs quite a bit. The price point is definitely up there, however this has got to be best Chromebook in the market by miles and miles.

I have used an assortment of antivirus security suites over my lifetime from the likes of Avast, Norton, AVG, Webroot, McAfee and Bitdefender. We are now living in an age where mobile security is just as important as desktop, server or laptop protection. More and more sensitive information is being accessed on our smart phones and tablets as we move forward and total security solutions are becoming more vital. Bitdefender Total Security 2018 does a wonderful job tackling on this challenge.
Installation on my desktop, Android tablet and iOS devices was a breeze. The user interface has a very clean but sleek looking design; it's intuitive and incredibly simple to navigate. Updating the software is so easy with the option appearing at the front page instead of having to painfully search for it in my past experiences with other brand suites. All settings can be accessed via the left hand side toolbar icons. Whether it's contacting the support team, notifications, Optimizer tools or Privacy settings, they can easily be found and the upper left hand corner drop down option details what each icon represents for first timers.
Performance wise this product is simply great overall. This is my first time using the Auto Pilot feature with Bitdefender products and it works great. It takes the hassle away from manually updating the program, continuously scans in the background, provides firewall and privacy protection as well. The application itself seems take an unnoticeable hit on system resources while running in the background. That is a huge plus for me as my experience with most security suites entailed noticeable slowdown in system performance while running silently and especially when scanning. I have no such issues with Bitdefender so far. Scans are fast compared to the competition. This welcoming pleasant experience is the same for my Samsung Galaxy Tablet and iPhones. Minimal resource impact and lightning fast performance. The mobile side allows for wiping and locating of mobile devices which is definitely a plus. Safepay is a solid feature for better banking or credit payment protection. App, File and Web protection have worked very well so far. Bitdefender has safely warned and steered me away from suspicious files and websites better than ever before.
Bitdefender Total Security 2018 is an excellent product for desktop computers and mobile devices alike. It's attractive and intuitive interface is great for experienced users but especially for beginners or first timers. I have always been frustrated with security suites with all these features and options that you have to struggle or dig deeper to find. No frustration here. Minimal system resource impact and fast scans! Highly recommended security solution!

I have owned and tested many vacuum cleaners in recent years including traditional ones and stick vacs. The best vacuums I have ever used so far are offerings from Shark and the Hoover React Whole Home Cordless Pet simply falls short where it matters most.
*** DESIGN ***
Beautiful, modular looking look with a dashboard area showing battery life and active cleaning modes. Includes 5 attachments including the power stair head which has worked very well for us. Trigger pressing feature allows quick or continuous suctioning. Included lights are great for vacuuming low light level areas like underneath furniture or beds.
*** PERFORMANCE ***
The Hoover does a very good job of picking up our cat's pet dander and loose hair all around the house. Easy to navigate and swivel around our carpeted, tile and wooden floors. With that being said, it's overall cleaning power is not as strong as my Shark products. Hoover seems to need a few runs to optimally clean certain carpeted areas. It does a good job overall but not as good as other rival vacuums.
*** CONCLUSION ***
The Hoover React Cordless Pet vacuum is all in all a good vacuum with it's strength clearly cleaning up after your loving pets. Multiple attachments allow for different cleaning situations, battery life is solid and vacuum appearance is attractive and appealing. Great stair cleaning tool! Cordless vacuum market is becoming very competitive and I still favor Shark over most brands but Hoover has some promise with these recent releases.

I currently own a security system but when I saw a chance to try out the Netgear Arlo Pro 2 I simply could not turn down the offer. Netgear is of course famously known for their extensive line of computer networking products of which I have owned and tested a many routers and adapters. With Netgear now producing cameras with their Arlo line, I was excited to test out their quality and capabilities!
***DESIGN***
The Arlo Pro 2 has a very cool sleek appearance that is very competitive with rival camera systems on the market today. I am not a big fan of the white color as it will show dust or stains more easily when installed in an outdoor setting. I prefer my cameras to be black so they are easier to hide from plain sight and dust does not show as easily. They are IP65 certified which provides solid weather resistance. Included base station has a built in 100db security siren and a external hard drive may be attached for recording video storage!
***PERFORMANCE***
Download the Arlo app for your mobile device to access the system's functions from afar including activating the siren or receiving instant alerts. 1080P video quality is a welcome addition. The night vision is very important to me as this is the ideal time during the course of a day when nefarious or suspicious activity is more likely to occur. The Arlo 2's night vision quality is somewhat grainy and not as sharp or clear as I would have hoped. The wireless connection has been pretty solid so far; connection distance is very short so that probably helps a lot with minimal disconnects. Microphone quality could be more sensitive too. Compatible with Amazon Alexa.
***CONCLUSION***
The Arlo 2 is a promising system with a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully this can be accomplished via software and firmware updates. This being the 2nd generation of Arlo one would expect or hope that it would be a improvement over its predecessor; that does not seem to be the case and it can be disappointing considering the overall value that you may or may not be getting here.

I have owned many wireless earphones. Ranging from generic brands on Amazon to more prominent names like Bose, Sony and LG. The FIT 305 is the first Plantronics product I have ever used and it certainly won't be the last.
***DESIGN***
First off these earphones are very lightweight. I have owned some lightweight earphones but these may be the lightest ones I have ever put on. The braided cable with reflective white stripe is a most welcome addition! There are times when I am cycling outside and the earphones will fall off. The blue color and reflective striping make it a lot easier to spot. Braided cable provides better wear and tear going forward. Earbud quality is good and comfortable. During my outdoor usage the earphones have fit securely without shifting too much so far via the included earbud loops and wire clip; a big plus! Inline button controls are easy enough to use with the +/- and square button which allows for volume, track and voice assistance control. Microphone built in for phone calls which I found to very clear.
***SOUND & PERFORMANCE***
The audio quality is terrific and much better than I could have hope. Rich mid range and highs with little to no distortion that I can tell. Nice bass for a wireless earphone system but it could be better. Bluetooth connection is very solid and worked from more than 25 feet away. Battery life is a reported 6 hours but I have used it for more than that so far before having to recharge.
***CONCLUSION***
The Plantronics Backbeat FIT 305 is a welcome addition to a market becoming saturated with wireless headset offerings with each passing day. Incredibly lightweight, quality sound, terrific battery life combined with a solid price point make this a no brainer recommendation!

Adobe Photoshop has always been too complex for an average to light user like myself to utilize and Elements 2018 is the perfect remedy. I am someone who only takes photographs via my iPhone for personal consumption so I just want a software tool that is simple to learn and use. Elements 2018 has guided mode which allows you to learn and master many of the program's wonderful features and options. I was able to use Elements to restore and bring back to life some older family photos in my house with minimal difficulty. Smart Tags feature allow better sorting and organizing of picture collection according to custom labels. Past Photoshop users will find the interface very familiar, cleaner and easier to navigate. Overall a great value and I am really enjoying it so far!

My first thought upon opening the router's box and removing the contents was one of simplicity and ease. The good feelings continued on as I plugged in all my network connections and powered on the WRT AC3200. It was a breeze to set up and all I needed was the included printed quick start guide.
Build quality feels nice and it does not feel heavy when I hold the router in my hands but I do find the overall shape to be bulky.
The Linksys settings screen has a simple to navigate and clean user interface. I had no trouble tweaking wireless options, checking for firmware updates or changing the router password.
This router has the best range of all the routers I have ever used in my house. We have a 2200 Sq. Ft. house so it was important that signal coverage and wall penetration all around are excellent. I am getting 4 bars in the wireless indicator as opposed to 3 bars before. Link speeds are higher.
Wireless connection speed is not as fast as my previous router. I have a 109 MBPS Internet connection and I am getting anywhere from 70-90 MBPS on average on the second floor with the Linksys via 802.11AC while my previous router's output was about 109 using 802.11AC as well. Every speed test seems to show slower or faster speeds while my network is under zero load other than the speed test. Establishing a wireless connection to the router is not as fast as I would like and sometimes it has trouble connecting. Wired connections like my Xbox One or OOMA seem more on par and first floor wireless speeds seemed fine.
It comes down to wireless performance here as I am not getting speeds close to what I am supposed to and sometimes when I lose my wireless connection it isn't always quick to re-establish a connection. My hope is since this router came out this year (2016) there is still ample time to improve performance via Linksys firmware updates, WRT or DD-WRT patches.

In my previous review I had issues with wireless performance on my 2nd floor. Those issues have been resolved by moving my desktop's wireless adapter to a better location and changing the 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHZ frequencies to fixed channels. I have a 200 MBPS connection from Optimum and I am not getting that speed throughout my house. I have had great performance with past Linksys products and have not used them in a few years and I am glad to be back with them again. The router is still a little pricey for my tastes but with some tweaking after installation I can now recommend this router to everyone who is looking for top wired and wireless performance!

where is the usb port located?
USB port is located in the back. I have charged my iPhone 6 and Note 3 on it. I believe it charges at 2.1 amps as the iPhone and Note were charged quickly.

No remote. I have three of these clock radios in my house and absolutely love them. Great price and design. Very good sound. It will be hard to find a remote for something this good at less than $100.

Can you charge a laptop
The clock radio only allows charging via its rear USB port. It is meant to charge phones mainly or even tablets. Any device that can charge via USB would work fine but a laptop requires charging via a wall adapter.
