Basic Home Alarm System

Very basic alarm system, i guess i got the "Delta" Home Security Command model? It came with 5 entry (doors and windows) sensors, 2 motion sensors, 1 siren alarm, 1 key chain remote, key pad and base station. SimpliSafe has a hassle free installation with no drilling involved, it comes with tape mounting, i personally would not recommend using these in the long run especially with the entry sensors. The good thing is there are holes in the mounting plate, everything has a mounting plate so you can use tape or screws, its up to you really.
I am however disappointed that it did not come with a camera, sold separately for almost 100 bucks, you'll think with camera being a common theme with these new alarm system it would be standard but its not. It did not include a "hazard boost" but the base station does include a siren option which is cool.

Simplisafe states that the motion sensors do not detect pets, i haven't tried this option because all my dogs stay outside, i do have a cat but its an outdoor cat as well so i can't say much of this feature.
I don't like that the keypad doesn't have illumination which makes it harder to see when the lights are off, just thought i throw it out there if you are coming home at night.

The app is a cool feature, it has a log of all the activity to see who's coming and going, you can also receive notifications if the alarm is set off, and as well disarm and turn on the alarm from it which is pretty cool. If you purchase the camera you can actually see HD video and security footage from the app as well. The app itself its not very big its, 20.1 MB's.
The service itself cost roughly $15 a month in order to take advantage of the SMS text alerts, cellular call function, IT WILL NOT work without being connected! The good thing is that the siren will sound, but without paying for the monitoring service the alarm will not contact you, call the police or dispatch center. The monthly fee is pretty inexpensive compared to other options so its not too bad. Overall the set up was a breeze, just need to connect the USB to a computer and everything else is pretty self explanatory, this is a good option for a functional and inexpensive alarm, especially if you've ever been a victim of a home burglary. I would recommend to buy the cameras for this product though, it's a good alarm for the price it does exactly what its suppose to do without the heavy monthly price tag that you get from the bigger alarm companies, and of course no contract, you can cancel anytime! What's not to love about that? I never been a victim of burglary but i know with this alarm system i have better control of my home when i am away. I will try the monitoring service for a few months to see how well it works, i'll keep you guys updated.

Sleek, Smooth, Quiet, and Easy to Use

This shaver is awesome, it's quiet and very smooth. I have been using it for the past couple of days and every time i use it feels like it's a brand new product. It comes with a cleaning cartridge which smells like an after shaver liquid you purchase at CVS, i love it. I'm not sure how much are the cleaning cartridges but the first cartridge is enough to last you a couple of months depending on how often you use it.
You can use it in the shower or while on the go due to the wet/dry feature. I don't like that the maximum running time is 1 hour, although i'm pretty sure i'm not going to use it for that long but i would think the battery could at least last 3 hours. Also Phillips gives us a 2 year warranty on parts and labor which is better then the industry norm. The maximum power this shaver has is 9 watts, it also has a turbo option to speed up the shaving time. This shaver also includes a "smartclick" precision trimmer, it's pretty simple to change between the trimmer and shaving heads.
One thing i should tell you is, once you have installed the cleaning cartridge inside the smartclean system/charging station you should not move it a lot due to the cleaning cartridge, its easy to spill it while moving it, so leave it stationary if you can. If you need to take this shaver with you, take the shaver with the case(included) then manually remove the left over hairs by pushing the release button which is located in the bottom of the shaving heads, once you get home you can use the cleaning cartridge, just a suggestion.
I looked up the prices for the cleaning cartridges and you can get a 3 pack for roughly $13.00 which is a great deal. You can also purchase a replacement shaving head for roughly $35.00, so it's not too bad considering how often you change the shaving heads since this shaver does not come with a replacement.
I really like this shaver. The cleaning cartridges smell great and make the shaving heads feel brand new with every shave. The cleaning system save me the time of having to clean it, it looks nice and most importantly is very quiet. I will definitely be using this shaver and trimmer for my everyday needs. It's very modern looking, it's fast, and it cleans itself! How can i not like it? I would recommend to anyone.

Good Portable Hand Held Blender

It's small, pretty quiet, and has speed touch. It's easy to clean and has single button release for quick accessory change. The hand blender only comes with a blender bar with integrated blade unit and blade guard. You can purchase additional accessories like, a whisk,XL chopper blade, tool holder for chop and drop blade. The trigger switch is a nice touch especially with the grip at the top of the blender, it makes for easy speed changing. The harder you push inward the faster it goes, you can really take advantage of the 300 watts this little blender has. I like that you remove the blender bar for easy cleaning. Phillips recommends to not leave the blender bar in the sink to soak but to rinse and leave to dry with the blades facing down, I'm guessing due to rust?
This blender also comes with a beaker which can measure up to 3 cups or 24 oz, it has more space for more but these are the only measurements displayed in the beaker. So far, i've made salsa, pancake mix, and milkshakes. It was really simple, no mess due to the blade guard which prevents a free spill procedure. The blades are made of titanium and very sharp, it would be nice if this blender had some kind of child proof on switch much like a lighter has because it's pretty easy to turn on.
This blender also comes with a handy recipe book with difference mixing recipes ranging from hummus all the way to cream puff. I'll be using some of these recipes soon as they seem pretty simple to make. This blender is stainless steal and looks modern then your plastic handheld blenders you see at the store. If they lowered the price a little i would give it 5 stars but because its almost a $100 dollars i will take a star away, if it came with more accessories then i can see why it's almost $100. I guess that's the only thing i can say bad about this product. It's small enough to store in a cabinet drawer if you detach the blade and strong enough to handle some tough blender jobs. I like it so far.

A Swiss Army Knife Blender, Stylish and Modern

I recently started making food at home instead of purchasing through restaurants or fast food chains. Also it is due to being a student on a limited income.
I normally like to make Parfaits, guacamole dips, Margaritas, crush ice desserts, salsa, pancake mix, ceviche(seafood) and milkshakes.
One thing that caught my eye of this Ninja set was the amount of accessories that is included. It has a little bit of everything for your kitchen needs. One of my favorites in the single Serve Cup! It's easy to clean and great for my on the go needs due to the spout lid. I sometimes take meals on the go and i used to hate cleaning my old blender because it was a process and time consuming, now i don't have that problem anymore.
This is really a "Intelli" or intelligent blender. It automatically recognizes each container and sets the correct presets for it. Not your ordinary blender. I also like that the buttons have a touch screen "intuitive touchscreen" feel to them instead of the buttons popping out like your traditional blenders. Very stylish and modern. I also like the release button on top of the lids, although I don't have children i think it's great to have for safety in case you have small children around the house.
It's very fast, 1200 Watts is more then enough to take care of all your blender needs. The containers are plastic but they are heavy and look durable. The containers also contain multiple blades throughout the container instead of your traditional bottom blades, so you don't have keep sticking the spoon inside the container like i used to do just to make sure it gets properly blended. lol
I am really impressed with this blender, its fast, durable, has a lot of options(the single serve cup is my favorite), and its a trusted brand; Ninja. I'll be definitely be using this blender. It was so nice that my mom decided to buy one as well, for her soft serve ice cream business. I would recommend to anymore you won't regret it!! I know the price is a little high but you'll see that this blender is worth every penny.

Functional and Limited Options

Very Simple Monitor for day to day needs, it doesn't wow you but isn't mediocre either. It's a working man's monitor guessing from the price tag, it's just right. It has one HDMI, DVI-D In, VGA in, Audio In, and headphone input in the back.
The VGA/DVI input runs at 1920 x1080 Full HD (60 hz) and HDMI at 1920 x 1080 full HD (75hz), when using this monitor i used the VGA option (monitor includes VGA cable) since my PC only has one HDMI input. I used this monitor side by side with another ultrawide 34 in monitor. I don't see much of a difference besides the warm colors, so far so good.

The monitor only has 6 external controls, Power, Input button, Volume button, OSD functions, Auto Adjust/exit button, and "Empowering key" which is really Acer's preset monitor adjustments, they range from movie, graphics, standard, eco, and user settings. One thing i did notice from the menu is the option for "super sharpness" which is added surprise, if you turn this option on VGA input almost looks like a HDMI input, but it does take away smoothness of the images and texts. Use at your discretion, just thought i throw it out there.
This monitor has no speakers or least i've tried it several times, Acer says 2 watts x 2 (only audio-input model) optional, so i guess it's accessories you have to purchase from acer? No big deal. I have some nice computers speakers, so i wasn't bother by this.
It would've been nice if the navigation included some kind of rotation dial or small joy stick, because the buttons to navigate are kind of hard at first but you get used to it after a while.
For the price this is a great option, it's simple to use, nice dimensions, only weights 8 pounds, has Vesa option in case you would like to wall mount it, you can customize the picture settings to your liking, and is Energy Star Certified. I would recommend this monitor if you are on a budget, but if you are looking for high quality pictures or close to 4k then i would recommend other options. I hope this helps.

This is not small speaker, it's 30.9 pounds just to give you an idea how much power this speaker has, it's a one stop shop for your music party needs.
You can stand this speaker vertically or horizontally. This speaker has 2 sub woofers and 3 tweeters, it's loud enough to be outdoors and more then enough for indoor house parties. No need for another speaker but just in case want to use another one, you can sync up to 10 speakers but they have to be from the Sony XB speakers family.

Its has infinity mirrors positioned around the speaker lights. The lighting is sync with the music of your choice, it's really a cool feature. You can also customize the colors settings with the Sony recommended "Fiestable" app which you can download if you really want to take advantage of all the features of this speaker. I personally didn't like the Motion Control option the app has, which allows you to change settings(DJing, Lighting, Replay, Scratching, phaser, isolation) by shaking your phone. It gets kind of annoying. I like the touch screen (its a circle and you touch it to activate and deactivate options) for better navigation between the effects in the app.
DJ controls through the app are pretty cool idea, it has a reggaehorn and voice effects which says, "come on, lets go! and Here we go!" which creates a party atmosphere. You can use these effects while playing music at the same time. Over all the Fiestable app is a nice app with easy navigation you can use with this speaker. There are other features through the app; i don't want to get too detailed but I recommend downloading it. You'll enjoy just as much as i did.

Ths speaker itself can be used like a simple bluetooth speaker, you can make outgoing calls and receive calls. Sony says it has up to 16 hours of play time not plugged in but if you read the fine print its 16 hrs without lights and volume level 16, and up to 3.5 hours of battery life at maximum volume with lights off as well. You can also use "stamina mode" which will help make the battery life run longer.
The bass is nice, the sounds is great when on maximum. No distortion and muffled sound. You can also use a microphone for those karaoke nights, the back of the speaker has a mic level knob. You just need a dynamic microphone with a normal plug in(sold separately).
I really like this speaker, i can see myself using it for karaoke nights with friends, having outdoor barbecues, tail gating at sport events. Everyone has been asking me where i got this speaker because they love it too, it's not too big and not too small, it's just right. I would recommend to anyone, this is a great speaker and packs a lot of punch. You won't regret it.

Powerful and Stylish

Wow, the vacuum suction of this vacuum is amazing, when i first turn it on my niece actually got scarred. I have 3 dogs(Chihuahua, German Sheppard, and Pitbull) and one cat that often jump and sleep in our couch. As you can imagine the hair that is left by these dogs. I also needed a portable vacuum cleaner to clean up the inside of my vehicle. I wash my car every other week.
This vacuum cleaner took care of both of those problems!
This vacuum comes equipped with interchangeable parts for different jobs. It was really easy to assemble, it took me about 5 mins to put everything together. It's a decent weight (17 pounds) and comes with a very long extension cord, its 29.9 feet.
I love the "lift off" technology, you can literally leave the bottom base of the vacuum and just carry the portable Lift-Off canister, which is perfect for carrying it outside for my car washes.One of the interchangeable pieces even comes with a builtin light, how cool is that?

Now about the pet hair, it has a "turboeraser" interchangeable tool which works great for my carpet and couches, it literally just sucks up the hair out of the couches/carpet. I love it.I used to hate emptying my vacuum cleaner, but now all i have to do is press the release button in the bottom of the canister and watch the hair and dust literally fall off, no more putting your hands inside and pulling it out.
I also like that this vacuum has a 5 year warranty from the manufacturer instead of the normal 1 year.
I will admit it's kind of loud, but i guess that's due to how powerful the vacuum is, and the fabreeze filter is a nice touch too. It leaves a nice smell after every vacuum session.
When the vacuum is being used it has LED lights in the front as well.
I really like this vacuum i think is a great addition for any household. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very Nice Projector but Lacks Wireless Options

This projector is very nice, it's light weight(7.72 lbs), very quiet(27-37dBA), has duel hdmi connections, is 1080p, 3D capabilities, and is also wireless.
It comes with a remote control, that has the same options as the top side of the projector. You can also customize the enlargement or reduction of the image by turning the "zoom ring" which is located on top as well. You can also manually adjust images so you can view your images at an angle (perfect for corner locations if you have a projector screen).

In order to view 3D movies, Epson recommends you first connect your 3D compatible video device to one of the hdmi ports, so it doesn't work if your video device is not 3D compatible. You also need Epson's compatible "RF" 3D active shutter glasses. I haven't looked up the price for these shutter glasses.
This projector has an app called "Epson's Iprojector" which comes in handy if you would like to stream from your PC/Mac or phone, it's pretty easy to sync up once you have downloaded the app but i don't like that the image gets smaller once connected, i've tried to adjust the image to make it bigger but i can't seem to make it bigger (from a 70 inch to a 32 inch when sync up to my PC). I did not like that, i feel they need to work on their app a little more and have more options, but keep in mind it doesn't take away from the image quality just size of screen.

I connected my PS4 Pro and it worked great! The images were beautiful, i did not see any lags when streaming netflix , now i haven't tried to play actual video games to see if there would be lag, that is something i plan to do soon.

I would recommend this projector to anyone! I just think they should work on their wireless iprojector app and add more features. I think i will use this projector with my hdmi devices. I can see myself watching movies with the family or watching sports events with my friends, a great projector!

Great Router for Gamers

This router is very nice, it's like a sports car but it's a router if compared to other routers in the same price range. I have a playstation 4 pro and xbox one. I used these game consoles for playing online to streaming netflix and amazon prime. It works flawlessly. No lag and disconnections.
I like how the router looks, it's black/matte and blends well with my PS4/Xbox one since they are the same color. The set up is the easiest i've ever done and i've done a lot of router set ups. You don't have to download any apps on your phone, it's web interface. The interface layout is very nice as well. It's very simple to navigate, customize, and use. I like that it automatically prioritizes your devices (since this is a "gaming router" it does it mostly for game consoles or PC's - from my observation but you can manually prioritize too). I download games online and stream netflix at the same time without a breeze. I like the simpleness the interface offers, even a novice user can customize this router to fit their needs.

I like how the router looks, it's black/matte and blends well with my PS4/Xbox one since they are the same color. The set up is the easiest i've ever done and i've done a lot of router set ups. You don't have to download any apps on your phone, it's web interface. The interface layout is very nice as well. It's very simple to navigate, customize, and use. I like that it automatically prioritizes your devices (since this is a "gaming router" it does it mostly for game consoles or PC's - from my observation but you can manually prioritize too). I download games online and stream netflix at the same time without a breeze. I like the simpleness the interface offers, even a novice user can customize this router to fit their needs.

Also the top of the router has ventilation holes and it's very silent. No noise. In the dashboard, under the administrator option, there is an option to turn off the router activity lights which is pretty cool because sometimes at night they can be pretty bright when it's dark.
It also has a dual band, 2.4ghz and 5ghz which i like because i can have all my devices connected through 5ghz and everyone else 2.4ghz. I can also create guess access to create a separate Wi-Fi name and password to share with guests.

Overall this is a great router for gamers, streaming, and mobile devices. Don't let the gaming router name fool you, it works well with everyday wifi usage you don't have to be a gamer to enjoy this router.
I really like this router and would recommend to anyone, but if you are a gamer this should be at the top of your list. I will be enjoying this router when playing gta V online. I always had problems, lags, or disconnections with my previous router but so far so good with this router. I like it.

This keyboard is the Bentley of all keyboards. Everything from the packaging to the design of the keyboard. You can tell the engineers and designers took their time to produce a great keyboard.
The first thing i notice is that this keyboard is heavier then your usual keyboard at the office or at school. It's 90 grams and it's has an aluminium spine. It feels very sturdy. Another thing i notice is the key shapes are inner oval design and do not pop out like usual desktop keyboard so it makes for easier and faster typing. Usually at work or at school they have the stock keyboards (the ones that come with the computers) and after a while my fingers get tired because i have to press the keys down, its a drag for those long reports or research projects, i don't have that problem with this keyboard because of its low profile keys. The keys also illuminate which is an added surprise! If i put my hand over the key board the keys light up, how cool is that? Logitech calls it "smart illumination."
On the top left is the "creative input dial" which is a great feature especially if you download the "Logitech Options software" directly from the logitech website. This input dial has the power to control a lot of applications and as well volume(i use spotify and i can control volume and play/pause). I have microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint and with the input dial you can enlage text, minimize text, with excel you can switch between rows or enlarge/minimize graphs.
One thing i was not please with or couldn't figure out is the Multi-device and Multi-OS option. This keyboard only comes with one bluetooth usb and one charging cable(no batteries required it has a built in battery). I have my Imac and PC side by side on my table and it would be cool if i could use this key board to control both operating systems, not at the same time, but "switch" to make more space on my desk, unfortunately i had trouble using this function. The keyboard has 3 keys right next to the num 10 key, these keys are used to switch between these multi devices/multi OS. May be somebody from Logitech can help me with this feature, although i'm not too disappointed because i will mostly use this keyboard with my PC Windows 10. I have an extended mac keyboard that still works great so it's no big deal, i just felt for the price of this keyboard may be they can throw in some extra bluetooth usb's? I don't know just and idea.
Overall this is a great keyboard, it's stylish, sleek, modern, and with all the new advancements in technology this is the next stage of keyboards. I am very happy with this keyboard. I will be using this keyboard for those long nights typing up research reports or chatting with friends through Facebook. I would recommend this keyboard!! I'm a college student and i also work in an office setting if that helps.

I originally bought an M-Series 55 Inch 4K Vizio TV. I had to return it because of the obvious lag when i play my Xbox and the lack of smart apps. I read the reviews on this TV and i thought i would go with a known brand like Samsung. My previous TV was a Samsung 50 Inch Projection TV and i had it for like 7+ years and it still looked great. I wanted to upgrade.
My first impression was the nice picture, very solid colors and sharpness. I like the smart TV Apps and web browsing capabilities when i play my Xbox one it looks great! no lag and colors are nice. I haven't seen 4K content on it so i can't offer an opinion on 4k stuff.
Now to the bad stuff. There is backlighting on the lower right, top left, and middle left of the screen. You can't notice right away until you start watching movies in a dark room. You can't tell if its in full screen, the back lighting does get annoying from time to time.
I think one of the major drawbacks of this TV would be the 60mhz, it's say trumotion 120 but that is just mumbo jumbo for 60mhz you'll think with SUHD you'll have a 120 mhz but nope that's one of the major things i could say bad about this TV. My 15 days were up so i could not return this TV, if i could i think i would of spend +$150 for a Sony, but overall it's a nice tv.
I notice a lot of TV's within the dollar range have some kind of an issue with back lighting.

Thank you for your reply about the 15 day return policy. I ph'd Best Buy and they confirmed that any purchases made between late Nov and Dec are eligible for returns all the way to Jan 15, so as a result i will be returning this TV because of the Refresh rate (currently 60mhz/ Trumotion is not 120) and backlighting light bleed) and paying a +$100 more for a Sony XBR55X810C 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2015 Model) which has a 120 Mhz and has slightly better ratings.

These headphones are very comfortable, i used them for a 4 mile jog on my treadmill and a 4 mile jog at my local park. They didn't come off or felt uncomfortable during my workouts.
The cables are thin, and the mic doesn't take up too much space either. These headphones look really discreet, especially with the black color which i like, it looks like i don't have headphones at all.
The wireless feature is nice too. I hate cords. I had to buy an arm sleeve due to headphone cords to have easier access to my ipod, but w/ these i don't need one, i just keep my cell in my pocked and jog, it doesn't eve effect the sound quality either!
I sweat a lot, some people say more then the average person. I also like to stay active by working out 5 days a week. These headphone have been great for my daily jogs. They are "splash resistant" too. You can tell by how the mic is covered and the earbuds which is another plus.
The only thing i would knock off these headphones is the sound quality. These headphones can get very loud, when it's loud the highs and lows don't sound too well that's why i am taking off 1 star.

So far, i like this product. They do what they suppose to do, and they are loud. They also look durable. I would recommend these headphones to anyone who likes to workout. I have a feeling these headphones will be my go to gear for workouts. I hope they last a couple of years with me.

These headphones are no good

This is a follow up on my previous review. I finally tried them while jogging. I was only 1 block into my jogging and they stopped working. It kept syncing out. The headphones said ," i was out of range" which i wasn't. I had an arm band and the headphones were on my head! I couldn't get them to work after that. I tried turning them off and on, then later syncing up, but it still did not work. What a waste. These headphones were a good idea but i can't even use for a regular jog. 1 star for that.

I wanted to like this sound bar, based on looks, the reviews it had, and of course the LG brand which is known for having good products. I would think with the 300 Watts capability it would be louder, but it isn't. You really have to mess with the bass (and the sub woofer bass) to get some decent bass for music and cinema.
I have a Sony 4k 55' inch TV (2015 Model). I didn't use the HDMI option to connect, i used the optical cable. I later change the settings on my TV to "sound system" - My TV controller controls the volume on the sound bar, but it says on my tv, "volume is fixed" every time i increase volume, so if i go from 10 at volume to 30, the volume is fixed" sign will show up 20x. So i'll have to use the sound bar controller for volume now.
This sound bar can be used for Bluetooth streaming as well. I sync up my cellphone (galaxy s7), it worked well for a couple of songs then it would kick me out. It would do this very often. I later downloaded the "music flow" app from LG (LG manual states it works well with app) thinking it would be the better option for streaming music from my phone to the sound bar and guess what? It did the same thing. Kicked me out after a couple of songs, it was really annoying. I couldn't listen to my playlist without reconnecting every 10 mins. After, it kicks me out it would go back to "optical" mode on the sound bar.
Even after i turn off the sound bar, i would wake up to the "optical" mode still on.
As others reviewers of this product, i would say that the LED light is really annoying. It's always on. I tried to remove it with the "music flow" app under settings but it didn't work.
The sound bar itself is very light, doesn't weight much at all. The sub woofer itself its medium sized, like the size of a shoes box I didn't feel a lot of bass coming from the sub woofer.
It's disappointing that this sound bar sounds so basic but looks very stylish and modern. I just can't get around the Bluetooth disconnecting and the basic sound.
The nice thing is that it came with a sound bar wall mount (i bought one from amazon thinking i would need it).
I wouldn't recommend.

I got an HDMI cable, connected it to the HDMI out behind the Sound Bar, I later connected the HDMI cable to the ARC HDMI option and my TV automatically sync up to the sound bar and sub woofer. I now can control the volume with my TV controller, and the sound bar turns off automatically when i turn off my TV. I disconnected the Optical cable option completely as a result i don't get kicked out when streaming music via bluetooth option, which is great because it was really annoying before. NOT all tv's support HDMI ARC option, luckly my TV is not that old (Sony 4k Bravia 2015 Model) now the sound bar works exactly how its suppose to, although i'm still not happy with the sound quality. I feel with the sub woofer and 300 watts option it should be a lot better, but then again now that i got it to work well i give it 4 stars! I wouldn't use the optical input option as it made it more difficult to sync everything. I just wanted to do a follow up.

You do not need anything out of the ordinary, just space to put your charging station. In the set up, there is the adapter cable and a charging station included w/ the set up. You just connect the charging cable to the outlet, hook up the charging cable to the charging station, once you do that, you press the red switch at the bottom of the vacuum. Pick up the vacuum, and place it right in front of the charging station until the lights on the vacuum show charging.
In regards to the programming to charge, the vacuum has it automatically included, once the vacuum detects its low on battery, it will automatically go back to its charging station. Once it's charge it will continue vacuuming where it left off. I hope this helps!

if you mean does it tell you the time? Then yes it tells the time while on sleep or while using it. I haven't figured out how to change the time from military to regular time.

I think the Fishnet cables looked great with this TV. The are expensive though, i read the longer the hdmi cable the more lag it may have this hasn't been confirmed. Good Luck!
