I highly recommend this floodlight camera for so many reasons. It is easy to use, has excellent features, and simply works.
This light includes very easy to follow instructions and a kit that helps you install the unit with ease. You screw in one bracket, hang the light with an included hook, splice the wires, then screw the unit into the bracket. That's it!
Installation is a breeze with the included app. You scan a QR code on the unit and it installs on the app. You must register a new account first. The entire setup via the app takes less than 5 minutes.
The camera and light has several features via the app. You can setup a highly articulated motion zone which I found very helpful. I have this mounted next to my back door and I setup the zone to not recognize my arm when I open the door to let the dogs outside. It does detect if a person was walking towards my back door however. Perfect!
You can also turn the light on or off via the app, adjust brightness, and set timers. You can turn the camera on or off if you wanted to use as just a motion flood light. It has night vision and you can adjust video and audio quality settings.
It even has a 2 way mic/speaker so you can talk to people outside via the camera. The best part is that there is hardly a delay on the video on the app. It is probably the shortest delay of any camera I have in my home.
I love this camera and floodlight, and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to illuminate an area via motion detection and also have video monitoring at the same time. A must buy!

Easy install, super fast speeds

This M.2 SSD is a must have for your gaming PC. I have the Acer Nitro 5 and it has 2 available M.2. slots. I was able to transfer my OS and everything over to this new SSD via Samsung Magician Software. The software makes it super easy to transfer everything and you can do it in less than an hour.
Samsung Magician also lets you run benchmark tests and gives you the drive's health.
I recommend you make sure to be careful opening up your laptop and that you don't have any static charge on your hands. You don't want to fry anything out on your mother board. Once you are in, this easily installs in the M.2 slot.
My computer boots up really fast now and I can access games instantly. I can honestly say this drive is a game changer.
Samsung Magician also lets you run benchmark tests and gives you the drive's health.

Bad fit, sound is very good

First I will state the positive thing about these headphones, they sound very good. They are well balanced and the highs and lows are very clear. That is half of what makes a great pair of headphones. The other half is the fit. That's the negative, at least for me.
The buds come with the biggest cushion and they simply do not fit snug. They do not seal or feel comfortable and they just move constantly causing all sorts of noise distortion. I tried all the other cushions and they are smaller and fit even worse. I have never had this issue with any other set of Earbuds I have ever owned. The all come with at least one set of cushions that make them fit comfortably.
Other than the fit, the microphone only has one button, to play/ pause and skip tracks. It does not have volume controls, which is somewhat disappointing. The best physical feature is the USB type C connector. I now finally have wired headphones for my Galaxy.
Overall these are good headphones but they just don't fit me well and have limited controls. Hopefully others find them a better fit.

Outstanding features, worth it

I can honestly say that I am now spoiled after having used Norton 360 with Lifelock. The features it has are top tier and of the highest quality.
It has your typical virus scan, LifeLock Dark Web Monitoring, Secure VPN, 50GB of cloud backup, a password manager, and a few more.
The password manager has gotten me spoiled where I don't need to remember passwords on my PC anymore. This will be one of the reasons I will likely renew the subscription when it expires.
The setup was very easy as you download it and run the install. It asks you to uninstall any previous versions if you choose (except Windows Defender).
It comes with 3 licenses which is perfect as I have 3 PCs. They are all running the software and are secured. I really enjoy this software and it makes me feel safe and secure on my PCs.

I think the Samson microphone is one of the best mics I have ever used. My first impressions of the mic are that it is of the highest quality. It is heavier than I thought it would be. It has a groove so that you can mount it on a stand, but it actually stands up by itself if you need it to.
I first used it for video conference calls. I switched between 3 different mics. The first was the PC's built in mic, the second was an expensive Plantronics noise cancelling headset with adjustable mic, and then the Samson. I held several calls switching over the mics and each person I called stated that the Samson mic was the loudest and most clear.
I then started recording some videos using the Samson mic and it was actually kind of weird to listen to. My voice sounded different like never before. It was almost like I was listening to a different person. My voice sounded deep and smooth, I was shocked. I wonder if this was how my voice truly sounded or if was being amplified in a different way. Either way, it was so clear and it did not pick up any "fuzz" or interference.
I am very pleased with this microphone and think it will serve me well in all of my applications in the future. I look forward to using it and cannot wait to record more content using it. I highly recommend.

Super comfortable, loss of music quality

The replacement tips do what they say they do, but with a few side effects. You can change them out very easily just like any other tips. You then squeeze them so they shrink, place them in your ears, then they expand to give you a nice secure fit.
These fit way more comfortable than the original Apple tips. They expand in your ears so they are almost like a custom fit. They will literally hold all day. I have worn them all day and they don't budge and my ears don't feel sore at all.
There are two side effects from using the replacement tips that I have noticed. The first is that you lose some of the lows in the music quality. First I thought it was just me, but I then used one earbud with the replacement tip and one with the original tip and you can notice a reduction in bass from the memory foam tips. I am not sure why, maybe the seal is so great that the bass does not have a chance to resonate at all, not sure though.
The second issue I noticed is a reduction in the ambient noise allowance. When you have the ambient nose setting on, you still feel like you are using a noise cancellation due to the tight fit of the tips. They create such a seal that they are almost always creating a noise cancellation of sorts. If you are using noise cancellation this is a good thing as it makes it that much more effective. But if you like the ambient mode, this will cause an issue for you.
Overall, I recommend these if you want a more comfortable fit, don't use ambient mode much, and don't need low bass response.

This unit is actually smaller than I first thought it would be. It does not weigh a lot and is easy to move around and handle. You remove the plastic from 2 filters, turn it on, connect to wifi, and it is up and running. Very easy. You install an app that lets you connect it to Wi-Fi and monitor it, the whole process takes like 5 minutes. One of the easiest smart devices actually.
This unit runs so quiet and smooth that I highly recommend for a smaller room. The unit has kept my home office very clean and I have noticed a significant reduction in dust. The room is smaller and you can easily notice the air quality for better or worse.
The filters are nice and big and easy to get to so replacing them should be very easy. You have an option to subscribe to a filter replacement service, but I will not be doing that just yet. I always price around first. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and perfect machine!

I cannot say enough good things about this all in one desktop computer. Especially right now that I am working from home and my kids are remote learning.
The setup is super easy just like any other Windows machine right out of the box. You power up and enter all of your info and preferences, about 10 minutes later you are up and running. It actually setup faster than any of my recent computer purchases in the last 5 years. I assume it is due to the 16GB or RAM and SSD.
It includes a wireless keyboard and mouse and they even give you the batteries! They are very basic but yet feel very durable and high quality at the same time. They are actually the nicest keyboard/mouse combo I have ever gotten with a PC. It is nicer than the ones my company provides for my company computer.
Now on to the performance...this PC rocks! The 27" display is big and beautiful. You can snap 2 windows at the same time and they don't feel cramped. You can actively use both windows with no eye strain. You sometimes forget that it is also a touchscreen, but when you start to use it you realize how intuitive and useful it is. The clarity and definition are spectacular as well. It gets very bright in a sunny room and also gets nice and dim with a night mode when the room is dark.
The PC is very fast. The 16GB of RAM and SSD paired with the i7 processor give this computer plenty of power to handle all of your every day tasks. I use a bloated Autodesk application with 3D rendering and modeling and it runs so smooth. Way smoother than my old PC. I run multiple applications and so far I have not gotten it to jam up or slow down. I love it!
It even has a pop up webcam that retracts into the display housing. This is very cool so you can pop it in when not in use for privacy. The bottom of the display has somewhat of a built in speaker bar with mesh grill/cover that works great. The sound is clear and rich with a nice low boom for the lows.
I love everything about this all in one PC and have absolutely zero negative things to say about it. There are no cons that I can think of or ran into. I have used it for almost 2 weeks and it has not disappointed me in any way.

Smart air purifier with some horsepower

I was skeptical at first regarding the cost of this unit compared to others I have used before. This air purifier is a serious machine though.
First, that packaging is very nice and it is packed in an almost artistic way. It reminds me of unboxing a Dyson. You have to put some plastic screens at the bottom of the unit and you are ready to begin. You turn it on and it pretty much starts working right away. You press the 'Q' button and it is ready to connect to your network. You download the app and you hit the plus symbol to add the device. The connection process is the same as almost every other smart device I have ever used. It was now connected to my network and the app shows me my air quality in real time. That is pretty nice.
So it runs very quiet and smooth and looks very futuristic. It has a glowing display and when anyone sees it you immediately know it is some kind of high-tech device. I really love the way it looks. It is like a gunmetal sleek gray. We have it set up in our living room which is open to our kitchen so it covers a large area. This is built for large rooms.
So one day I was half asleep in my bedroom and my wife went to the living room to fix her hair as not to bother me. She began to use hairspray and the purifier kicked into high gear to clean the air. This woke me up and we both had a good laugh. I thought this was very cool as you can tell it is doing it's job. Another example was when I was cooking a nice steak on my cast iron skillet. It was getting kind of smoky and I turned on my hood fan and my ceiling exhaust fan. But next thing I knew, the purifier kicked in again.
Overall I have been enjoying the peace of mind with this unit keeping my large living room clean. Most of my family and I suffer from seasonal allergies so I cannot wait until spring and summer roll around to find out if this makes a big difference. So far it has been impressing me with each day it runs.

Worked way better than expected!

First off, I have been using "rabbit ear" antennas since I was a small child. I have gone through many years using cable and satellite, but for a little over a year now I have gone completely over the air and streaming. I Have quite a few antennas in my house and have tested at least a half dozen. This RCA antenna outperformed most that I have in my home.
This one is pretty traditional with a main unit and the 2 retractable antennas that are actually pretty long. You plug it in to the TV and also to a power source and away you go.
So I tried this out in my basement office where I watch the morning news while I am working from home. My current antenna is one of those flat antennas mounted in the ideal spot after several hours of calibrating. I had a whopping 14 total channels. I set up this RCA in almost the same spot and ran the channel search. It found 30 total channels...30! I was ecstatic. The old channels I did get were also dicey and now those tried and true channels came in perfect. I could not be happier but the instructions recommend an app.
There is an RCA app that helps you find the best position based on where the network towers are located. I am in a far north Chicago suburb and the app literally showed Chicago on a map and Milwaukee on a map. It was kind of funny as I could have just pointed the antenna towards Chicago or Milwaukee at any time. So I did and ran the channel search again. This time it found only 25. I found this even more funny. So I now have little faith in the concept of simply aiming the antenna towards the big city's towers.
I then positioned it back in my original ideal spot and ran the channel search again and this time it found 35! I was perplexed as to how if found 5 more channels back in it's original spot. But I was not complaining as I now have several shop from home channels that I always find somewhat hypnotic.
Overall I have extremely pleased with this antenna as it has given more channels to entertain me in the background while I am hard at work in my home office. Take the app for what it's worth, but I uninstalled it right after the first attempt using it. I think this is a 5 star antenna all day.

Does any plastic on this kettle come in contact with the water?
Yes, the sealed lid is plastic with slots that make contact with the water as you pour it out. Even if you remove the lid, the mouth is also plastic that makes contact when you pour out the water. Hope this helps!

I'm a runner in the market for new buds. Will these stay in during a rigorous workout?
I would not risk running with these buds. They are a little bulky and have a rubber "band" that is supposed to help seal in the ear, but can also push the bud out a little. I would recommend the Plantronics Backbeat Fit ear buds.

Your question sort of contradicts itself as using an app to control something is essentially a "smart" home function. You can use the lock without connecting to the internet and use as a simple push code lock. But for that then spend less money and buy one without the internet accessibility. Once this lock is setup you can connect it to your home network and control it using the August app if you wish. You can also integrate it into an even "smarter" home by adding the Connect bridge and using it with Google Home, Alexa, etc. Hope this answers your question.
