Nearly Perfect. But a small issue

So, the Ninja Foodie TenderCrisp promises to be a pressure cooker as well as a broiler, air fryer, and crisper.
Wouldn't you know I had two new york strip steaks in the freezer that I have been putting off cooking since moving. Normally the wife and I would have those gone in no time. But, with the moving part and all - I keep forgetting to thaw them.
In comes the ninja! Just slap those babies into the ninja pressure cooker for a few minutes and walla! They are completely thawed. The instructions said just to add water.. But, I thought I would experiment a bit.. So I added some worcestercire sauce into the mix during this process.
The next step was to remove the pressure cooker lid and turn on the actual broiler. This finishes the cooking process. Prior to this, however - I added some of my favorite seasoning.
After setting the broiler - I actually stepped away feeling confident that the ninja would do things just right.
When the timer played its tone, I went out like a kid on christmas day to find two perfectly cooked strips! The wife and I like our steaks normally cooked medium rare/medium - so we went on the lower end of the suggested cooking time (there is a cook book, and cheat sheet included too!).
And.. I bet, with your psychic powers you can expect what I am going to say next?
Indeed. Two steaks cooked medium rare. To perfection!
I'm actually looking forward to using the ninja more than any other cooking appliance in our household. Not only because of its versatility, but because of the amount of time it saves! Normally, we would either let our steaks thaw in the fridge overnight, or have them sit on the kitchen counter for a few hours at minimum. The ninja? Thawed them in about 4 minutes (which includes the unit building up the pressure). The actual pressure cooking part to thaw the steaks was 2 minutes! TWO MINUTES!
There are so many other features I want to try and tell you about, but with the move, I don't think we will be cooking a 5lb chicken any time soon (which the ninja can do without breaking a sweat!!)
I'm just thinking of all of the possibilities. Chicken tenders and french fries (air fried). Beef stew. Geez, now I'm getting hungry again!
Ok.. Onto the one small issue. The ninja comes with a grill to use for broiling. Sadly, after everything was said and done - I had to break out a scrub brush and scruuuuuuuuuuuub for what seemed like an eternity to get it clean.. Small price to pay I suppose for delicious food? Next time I will probably spray some Pam or brush some oil onto the grill before using it.
The actual ceramic bowl cleaned very easily. Just some dish detergent and a kitchen sprayer was needed. No elbow grease there at all!
All in all, this multi use kitchen gadget is a must for a family of any size. It will save you time and energy when preparing meals. That I can promise you!

Perfect all around printer!

Since moving, I didn't want to clutter my office with my old printer - which was a giant relic "3 in 1". The HP Tango, on the other hand is very compact - to put it mildly. But, don't let the size fool you! Inside the small body, this printer packs a punch.
My first test was a 4 by 6 photo on the included bonus photo paper. The "instant ink" technology dries IMMEDIATELY. Seriously.
The image looked like it came directly from your local photo shop. In other words, Perfect! Even better, this photo came directly from my android phone to the printer.

Speaking of which, the setup was a breeze. Install the app to walk you thru. Then install the print cartridges - align the print heads and BAM install complete!
Don't just think this is a photo printer though, you can also print regular documents as well.
You can connect all the devices in your home - be it phones, laptops, desktops, or tablets. It truly cannot get any simpler than this.
If needed, you can join their program where the printer will automatically let HP know that your printer is running low on ink, and they will send more. If this is your type of thing - then this may be extra convenient for you. To me, it's just... Sort of... weird feeling so I opted out.
Either way, this truly is a great all-'round printer that should fit everyone's needs. Did I mention you can scan and copy via the app too?
Could this be the death of the 3-in-1's of ol' ??

Go Pro 7 Black - Hero or Zero?

I must admit that I always looked at the GoPro as sort of a glorified phone camera. But, without the phone.
Those familiar with the GoPro already know about previous versions. So what's new in the 7?
The first and best is that the GoPro hero 7 Black contains a brand new image stabilization technology called "Hypersmooth" which to me, really is beneficial and awe inspiring. I really did my best to defeat the feature, but hard as I might - the video still came out super smooth. Sure, previous
incarnations had image stabilization but I cannot imagine that it could get any better than this. And unlike it's previous version now works with 4k.
Second, there is a much improved (dual!) microphone that provides sound that doesn't overdrive in loud atmospheres, or try to overly boost in quiet scenes. Just like in the famous children's book - this time they got it "just right".
The "super photo" mode is sort of an AI processor that chooses the best settings for the scene at hand. And it does do a pretty good job. Nothing I've done seems to be washed out like on some camera phones that have similar technology. It truly does do pretty well in this regard.
Finally, you can livestream from your GP7HB directly to Facebook but will eventually (hopefully soon!) allow the same to youtube. Though, one has to wonder how well a live stream in a higher res (right now it's just up to 720) will work out on video sharing sites. Unless of course you have a high bandwidth plan with your
internet provider.
Timewarp, GPH7B's take on time lapse isn't really what one thinks of - as generally one would just have a camera pointing out their window and catching it that way. With this technology, it can be "in motion" shots (thanks to the stabilization technology). However, to me it just looks
like it took normal "Hypersmooth" shot video and sped it up about 15x-20x. Kind fun and cool. But, a feature that I personally won't be utilizing (at least not a whole lot).
The video quality is, again, much better than what I was expecting going into this. It is a ton better than a glorified non-phone picture phone.
The build quality is very decent. The waterproof case gives me confidence that I can safely get it wet with no worry. I actually did this today to film my wife coming home in a pretty strong rainstorm. No water penetrated the waterproof casing.
Now, with all of that said the biggest downfall of this is the (non)-intuitive nature of the camera itself. The controls on the back touchscreen gave me a bit of trouble. I cannot imagine anyone but the most tech-savy user feeling comfortable using this camera. It's very easy to accidentally switch from video to still camera; for instance.
So, with all the new toys and hardware advancements "under the hood" - none of that matters if the user doesn't know how to access them!
For those, like me, that are tech savy - that's completely different. But if the general consumer attempts to use this; I can see them getting mighty confused over how to use the camera (and if we are lucky all of the enhancements. Also, when I attempt to export the video files to
the home PC I get either a "file is corrupted" error, or simply the computer cannot find the files. This also occurs on the app from the Playstore.
So, sadly to me - even though this is great hardware - I do not see this product getting off the ground (even though they have been around for a while. I am only giving the GoPro 3 stars. It could have been a 5-star product any day of the week. But, the non-intuitive nature of the touchscreen leaves one to want to pull all of their hair out!
If you are in the market for a great camera, and are techy. Go ahead and get the black model. But, if you wouldn't consider yourself that I would strongly advise you not to purchase this item.

Everyone is aware of the other very famous brand known for their high fidelity earphones that starts with a B.
Have they met their match with this pair of Sony "cans"? TLDR: YES!

First I must say, for those with anxiety issues: when you open the package and see how these are folded: fear not! This is how they are supposed to be stored! And stored they are in their very lush and rugged carrying case.
Even though these are wireless via bluetooth, a 3.5 to 3.5 cord is included to connect to peripherals as is a usb-a to usb 3 charging cord. Last but not least, and something I haven't seen lately is an in flight adapter!
The box claims that a 10 minute charge can provide up to 5 hours of use. A full charge can last up to 30 hours. For now, I will have to take their word for both. However, since I've been using them today I have noticed they seem to be doing just fine with no obvious signs of battery drain.
I do have a pair of the competitors headphones. I must say that the highs are higher in the Sony, the midrange seems a lot more "open" (hard to explain), and the lows lower. In effect, one has a better soundstage with these headphones than with the competitor that starts with a "B". At least to these ears.
Perhaps the best feature is the noise canceling processor. It's almost scary. It can adapt to your environment, whether you are on a plane, train, office, etc. I had visited my wife's office today to show these to her, and her very loud office-mate was almost completely drowned out! My wife didn't want to give them back... But, I had to write this review, so they came back with me (hehehe). The noise canceling optimizer function is very neat to play with. While it was doing its thing, I tapped on my desk. Once the optimizer was completed, I could no longer hear the tapping. It was like a "real time" noise remover. So I can only imagine its application in areas that have very annoying and repetitive sounds.
I was so excited, I forgot to show her how you can also use the "quick attention" feature will lower the volume of music to allow for conversation with a quick tap over the earphone. And the other "swipe" features to turn up/down the volume or skip a track, etc.
The noise reduction, the sound quality, and the build quality make this truly a must have for the audiophile traveler. Or, for those in an office environment who want to work in peace!

My previous portable BT speaker just bit the dust, which is a shame because my favorite place to use it was by the pool. However, it was never loud enough to hear if one was not close enough (i.e. at the other side of the pool).
In comes the PK7. Not only does it provide the OOMPH. It also provides clarity at even the louder levels. As a note, I didn't turn it all the way up, as I didn't want to anger the neighbors.
This is the ultimate party BT speaker. The neon lights which interact with the music are another big plus. Especially at dusk, or at night. Though one can clearly see them during the day as well, it's just a lot more fun at night :)
The controls are very intuitive, and easy to use. There is an input on the back for plugging in a portable device. This, also is where the power port for charging resides. Quite honestly, it didn't take a whole lot of time to charge it for first use, so it must have already had a fairly decent charge from the factory, who claim a fully charged battery can last 20+ hours. We will see!
Back to clarity, the PK7 offers "Meridian Sound" and lets you enhance bass or voice (which to me sounds like a tweak to the higher end/treble). Both (to me at least) add an extra dimension to any music you can throw at it.
I like to consider myself an audiophile, and so far I cannot find anything to fault the PK7. Easy controls, great sound, entertaining lights, LOUD, and did I mention great sound? :)
If you are in the market for a very well constructed, durable and high end BT speaker - you would do very well in selecting this model. GO FOR IT!

Far from being a stranger to Western Digital drives, I have always wanted to give their SSD's a try with the most well known OS. I have a multi desktop setup, and already have one setup with linux. That one impressed me off the bat.
However, I have always wondered how the other OS would perform with a similar drive.
The cloning process was a breeze (just use your favorite search engine to find instructions) and you can find many free products that will do this for you. Once I did that, I was off and running.
Just a small tip, make sure that your current drive and this SSD are the only two drives connected during cloning. Don't ask me how I know.. *cough*... It lead to an embarrassing situation I'd rather not talk about.
Once you are cloned from your old drive, just pop the old one out and put this one in its place. Reboot, and you are done.
Once everything checks out, power down again, and reconnect any other drives. I know it sounds like a difficult process, but honestly it isn't.
Now, onto the performance. Does it do what it says on the box? Yes!
First of all, my boot time went from about 50-55 seconds to around 16 seconds! That's from hitting power to the desktop being fully loaded and ready to go!!

To me that is the best indicator of a HD's performance.
From one SSD to another I get consistent reads of 450-500MB/S and roughly the same with write speed.
The lower end is if you are transferring large files (over 1-2 gigs).
Whereas smaller files ZIP right from one drive to another. Something I never thought would be possible with this most popular "other" OS.
I think that right now, most SSD's are at a price point that one would have to be "not right" not to utilize them in their PC's or laptops.
WD has also proven to me how reliable their drives are in the past, and have never had any issue with them. There is a included piece of software "SSD Dashboard" that will let you keep an eye on the drives' status. But don't worry, you'll have nothing to worry about :)

The Norelco 3000 is great for those that have short or medium (like me) length beards! At no point was there any tugging or pulling when trimming. A definite plus for me is there isn't a need for a bazillion different sized attachments for length selection. It is all included with a special dial on the product itself. It appears to be very sturdy with enough "heft" in the hand to know that this is a quality product. Also the rubberized grip keeps it safely in my hand. With my medium sized beard, I find that dialing in the length at 6mm was about perfect. And there is no need to worry about the blades becoming dull, as they are self sharpening! This is definitely an upgrade to my old (non-wireless) beard trimmer. If you have a small to medium in length beard - I don't see why this would not also work for you. Norelco has proven again that it makes a quality product!

Perfect (for just about everything!)

For the last 8 years or so I've been a true believer in HP products. Their towers, especially, due to the fact that they can be easily expanded w/ additional bays, slots etc included.
This, however is my first HP laptop - and for those that are of the TLDR crowd: I LOVE IT!
That should sell you right there, as I normally nit-pick a bit with every product (there are only 2 minor issues with this unit - mentioned further below).
The first thing that got me was the size and weight. The unit is THIN. And lighter than any laptop I have ever owned. This is impressive due to the hardware it contains. It will be a pleasure to be able to travel with the ENVY in my carry-on briefcase/laptop bag. It truly seems durable. It is either metal, or a really hard plastic. I really feel that this laptop can/will last quite a few years while being a "daily driver". That's the durability and confidence the build quality exudes.
Before I get into the technical details, the touch-screen itself is wonderful. FHD IPS! Everything is crisp, clear and --- really breathtaking! What makes it better is that the screen is Gorilla Glass! I do believe this is the first product I've seen in this class "out in the wild" offering such. The first nitpick is that none of my styluses (or is it styli?) that I own work with the laptop. I've tried many, but no dice. I'll keep looking and will update this review once I find one that does!
There's a reason the SSD included in this laptop is super fast. It's not your regular SSD! It's in fact, a PCIe NVMe M.2 drive. Meaning it's not connected to your Sata port, but rather a much faster PCIe port. This also saves on weight, as the NVMe drives look like mini RAM sticks. The speed is super noticeable on large file transfers. And just everything in general! The included 128GB of storage may be a bit short for those with large music libraries etc, so I would recommend utilizing an additional storage solution for those type of things (like the included micro-SD card slot!!!!!)
This also is my first experience with an AMD chipset. I am pleasantly surprised! I did notice at first (and this is another of my nitpicks mentioned above) that at first the laptop ran really hot (like, don't set it on your lap fellas or "the boys" will get roasted). Oddly - this issue went away once a windows update (1803) was run. Just about everything minus the latest games will run without breaking a sweat. I really am surprised as I was a "fan boy" of the other processor company and believed the hype. The Ryzen 5 performs just as well if not a tad bit BETTER than the comparable chipset from the other company.
The audio quality, whilst still coming from a laptop really is quite good. The quad speaker array by B&O really shines. There isn't much EQ "trickery" so that is definitely a plus.
All in all this laptop is as close to being perfect as this price range allows. It is a great value, and Best Buy's price at the time of this review is much lower than competitors.
If you want a laptop that is durable, sleek, FAST, and somewhat "future proof" - then this is for you! You can't go wrong in getting it!

Not as... Or maybe too sensitive?

As a user of a very old Wacom tablet, I felt that a newer model would be nothing short of a revelation.
While there are some very (VERY!) convenient features:
1. No battery in pen.
2. Ability to be completely wireless via Bluetooth (after initial setup)
3.) Can be used (somewhat) as a mouse replacement in windows.

Others fall short. No matter how much I tweak the settings, it seems that I'm constantly selecting/clicking/drawing in areas I don't want to. And while you can program one of the easy keys as "undo" to fix this, it shouldn't be necessary. When trying to use the tab as a mouse replacement, it was very hard to click (even with the "hover and pen click") feature.
Now, this may all be down to user error (my hands can be a bit....shaky at times). But, with that in mind, 99% of these problems do not exist with my much older model. Which, in the long run is a great disappointment as I'd much rather utilize a battery free (and wireless) tablet in my drawing and photo editing endeavors.
The software included, reminds one of a watered down adobe suite from years past. While it can get the job done - it doesn't have the amount of tools available as other software. But hey, it's free!
Even with the above being said, I would still recommend this tab - as again, there may be an element of user error on my part that is causing this.

This pair of rear speakers are the finishing touch to the sony HT-Z9f soundbar and subwoofer. Thus turning it into a true 5.1 system. As with the companion product, these rear speakers produce perfect highs and mids. We have mounted them to the walls in our master bedroom. Even at high volume, the speakers don't exhibit an ounce of "speaker dance" that other brand's models produce. If you have the companion product, there really is no reason that you shouldn't just complete the system with these speakers. Your movies, tv shows, and music will thank you!

What and how do I connect the desktop with the monitor?
Either with an HDMI cable or a Display Port cable. There are ports on the back of the PC.

I have Apple tv 4th Gen which is NOT a 4K device. I just bought this tv which replaced my old HDTV. I do not see any difference in picture quality (from my old tv as compared with this Sharp 4K tv). Is this because of the fact my apple tv is not 4K?

You can't get 4k resolution from devices that don't output 4k.
So of course, the quality will be the same as your old tv - unless you get a device that outputs in 4k.

I have been reading the comments by other customers. I just picked up the tv & found out this thing doesn’t have a web browser. How do I download one if that is possible??
You can download the web browser via the TV's included app store. I just did the other day. It's pretty cool as it renders the sites exactly (and as quickly) as a browser on a laptop.

Do NOT buy this SHARP I got one in Nov and it glitched a lot one day my 5 year old was watching and it froze She taped the screen with the remote and the screen cracked Sharp doesn't make replacement screens Best buy protection won't cover it i'm screwed
Tap + 5yr old = threw remote at the screen like an MLB player? Perhaps.
Pretty sure best buy protection wouldn't cover intentional damage like this for any item. To say this is an issue with the Sharp brand is quite the stretch.

Yes, if it can be installed on another windows 10 device, it can be installed here. You will need to get a USB-A to USB-C adapter as there are no "regular" usb ports. Just usb-c.

Storage is expandable. This tablet is a fail? Far from it. I'm enjoying mine. Sadly it is already back-ordered on most sites. So perhaps this is just a case of sour-grapes on your part, or you are a MaC fan, OR you just couldn't afford this and had nothing positive to contribute. For everyone else, this tablet is AWESOME. It has handled everything I've thrown at it within reason. Obviously it's not meant to play games in full frame rate - but everything else - YEP!
