Ready to Rock!

Normally, when one thinks of a soundbar - the first thing to pop in your head is that they are a cheap, poor-man's version of a home theatre system. Is that the case with this Sony model? Read on...
The system came packaged in the standard L-shaped box, I guess to minimize box material.
Inside is the soundbar (roughly 39" long) and the (hefty!) wireless subwoofer.
The setup was straight-forward and easy. The unit provides hdmi ports, and an optical port. Also included are aux, and ethernet ports.
From this perspective, it really was plug and play.
There are many different sound modes as well as a night-time mode which evens out the soundfield. The "verticle surround engine" TRIES to achieve what is said on the box. There are some shortcomings - it works. But it doesn't "wow" me.
To test this bad-boy out, I utilized one of my favorite band's blu-ray performance releases. The sound? It blew me away! The bass was deep and thumping, the mids and highs perfectly reproduced. This is all without utilizing the (sold seperately) wireless rear speakers! In saying all this, keep in mind I had a 5.1 sony surround sound system prior to this which was rather old.. But still 5.1.
In my opinion, this product completely knocked the old system out of the ballpark!
So, as to answer the first part of this review - Sony has completely shattered the negative preconception regarding soundbars!
This model is the one for you if you want to upgrade your home-theatre system from no seperate sound system, or if you are like me, a decades old speaker system.

The Rylo 360, as the title suggests is an overall decent camera. It is truly remarkable that such a small camera can offer such features that Rylo has offered.
All over the internet, this model is being called the (other brand camera) killer. The size and feature-set alone prove that.
Upon opening the box, there is a battery, a (nice soft!) carrying case, and a handful of cables to ensure you will have no problems syncing the camera to your phone. Included is a micro usb, a usb-c, and a lightning cable. Also included is the charging cable (of course!).
A 16gb microSd card is also included, which offers roughly 30mins of 360 degree HQ footage storage.
Upon testing the actual quality in my home office, at first I was underwhelmed. Even though it was shooting instant 360 degree video, the quality itself was poor and pixelated. This was until I noticed that the setting was not on high quality. Once switched, the camera now provides much higher quality footage (4k!). This is why I docked one star. In my opinion, standard settings in this day and age should't produce pixelated images. It's just...Wrong!
The actual transfer/sync of video to the phone via the (Playstore/Appstore) provided app was instant, and the variety of tools, aplenty. You can have the software automatically follow any subject in your video - giving a very professional looking result. The image stabilization is also TOPS! I have (very!) shakey hands at times, and with the Rylo, you would never have guessed it! And it does NOT sacrifice any part of the video.
Before I forget, also included is a hardshell case (reminiscent of a full body, snap on phone case) - and a "stick" which aids even further in stability. In tinkering with the "stick", I noticed the bottom of it can be unscrewerd revealing what could very well be (actually, I'm pretty sure it is!) a tripod mount.
So, Rylo has really thought of everything it would seem.
So, is it truly a "(other brand camera) killer?" --- After tinkering - I would say, and give a resounding YES!

Fill a room with a conveniently sized speaker

The Bose S1 portable speaker is perfect for my use, and that is as a karaoke monitor. I previously used a much inferior speaker as my monitor, and the difference with the bose is striking. Not just the sound quality (which is fantastic - as always w/ bose!) but with the many different options. In effect, you have a total of three different channel inputs to work with. 2 w/ full controls (volume, reverb, etc), and one 3.5mm aux control. What also is great, is you can sync w/ bluetooth! Totally cutting another cable if need be. Thus, making this a perfect party speaker as well. Want to stream from your favorite music streaming service? The bose product has you covered. If only you didn't have to keep it plugged in.... But wait! Bose has thought of that too! With the optional battery option, you can be completely cordless. Leaving you the ability to take the speaker anywhere!
About the sound quality, it is really what we already know and expect from a company w/ such high regard as bose. The highs and mids are reproduced respectively, and the lows truly are BOOMING. My previous monitor would constantly buzz and create feedback. However, with the bose in stage monitor mode - this is completely eliminated.
So whether you are wanting the perfect "party speaker", practice amp for your instrument, stage monitor, or performance speaker - the Bose S1 Portable pro speaker is for you.

Best toothbrush E-V-E-R!

Using a manual toothbrush for basically my entire life, I didn't know what I was missing with a sonic toothbrush.
This toothbrush creates 31,000 brush-strokes per minute. Why is this important? Other than the obvious - it whips your toothpaste into a micro-foam, letting it get in between your teeth and under the gumline. After using it for just a couple of days now, I can notice a big difference already. My teeth basically sparkle! I have some relatively sensitive dental work, and this does not bother it one bit. In fact, it will alert you if you are pressing too hard. All you really have to do is turn it on, and gently move the brush back and forth.
If there is one negative, I would have to say to make sure you do not accidentally hit your teeth with the back of the brush. This isn't really a design flaw, but more of a person getting used to using the brush. It doesn't hurt when this occurs, but if it occurs at 0630 in the morning, it *will* wake you up!
All in all, this may just be the perfect sonic toothbrush out there. Sure, there are other budget brands that are cheaper, but you aren't getting the best brushing then.

Here we have a very high quality set of 'phones. To me, the best way to test them is with a high definition copy of Pink Floyd's "dark side of the moon". The mids and highs are reproduced effectively with no shrill sounds which are sometimes produced by a lower quality pair. The lows/bass is respectfully reproduced with just enough "oomph" to enhance the general sound. To me, this is a feature that is quickly dying as people are wanting bass heavy over Sonic clarity. The headphones themselves are very comfortable, and you can tell that a lot of thought and work went into achieving this. The feature that I like the most, however, is the nose cancelling. You are still aware what's around you, but at the same time, annoying sounds are filtered out. How they achieved this is anyone's guess. But, it works! If you are in the market for a quality pair of headphones and have a few extra bucks to spend, go splurge on these -you won't be sorry!

Most awesome TV yet!

They say bigger isn't always better, but with TV's - it is! Jumping from a 32" to this 60" was like night and day.
Before turning it on, I mounted it to our bedroom wall with a wall mount purchased from Best Buy as well. Because, we didn't have anywhere large enough to set this bad-boy using its included stand!
Upon turning it on for the first time, I was blown away by the picture quality, and iti was still set on the default settings!! Being the tinkerer that I am, I eventually tweaked everything using the many settings in the well laid out menu that the TV provides. I currently have our cable box, receiver, DVD, and Roku connected and it is a breeze switching between all the inputs. The remote is very well conceived and laid out.
What was the biggest surprise is all the apps (but yes, no hulu - hence the roku). There is a full fledged web-browser app included. Perhaps I am letting my age show a little bit, but I never knew Tv's had web browsers.It renders and loads pages just as fast as any laptop. Which, for a TV - I think is remarkable. The apps load incredibly fast.
One thing that I'm still struggling with is that sometimes the sound goes out of sync with the people on the screen. Usually this can be corrected by going to the sound menu, and going from DD (dolby digital) to PCM then back to dd. There is a lipsync and delay setting, but it doesn't seem to correct the problem. Or perhaps it's just me. I'm not docking any stars for this as it is an easy fix.
Anyway, back to the picture - 4k video is jawdropping on this tv, and even 1080p is rendered very nicely without any pixelation. That is saying alot for such a large screen. Most in this size range have mild to moderate pixelation.
Right now with all of the promos for this TV at best buy, you'd be crazy not to get one at the current price if you are in the market for a new tv! It practically does everything except make you a PB&J (or play hulu). But the second item, hopefully will be corrected by a future app update.

great Receiver!

I have always used sony receivers in the past. For the last 10 years, I had used another sony model which (gasp!) didn't have HDMI. So I basically just used the optical connection on that unit to output to my speakers.
The number of connections that this model has are insane! Word of advice though, if your subwoofer has the old speaker wire to clip setup - it will not work! However, you can purchase a speaker wire to RCA adapter and you will be ready to roll!
I was pleased to find that it had coaxial and optical inputs. The different sounds settings are great. And, having an old SACD player - I was pleased to find that it had an input for this! The sound on this unit is a night and day improvement over my old sony. Not only does it upgrade the sound output - but it also has 4k video capabilities. What I think I like the most - is that instead of having a gazillion wires running from my components to my TV - they all run to the back of the receiver and then a single output/HDMI runs to my tv! It doesn't get any better than that! If you are in the market for a new receiver - give this one a shot, you won't be sorry!

A class act!

Never before would I have thought that I would go "gaga" over something as simple as a computer keyboard. The G613 has achieved this monumental task!
First off, this thing is massive and heavy. Some may (and have) seen this as a negative. But since this *is* a gaming keyboard, I consider it a strength.
The connection is either via Bluetooth, or Logitech's own "lightning" technology, which boasts a 1ms delay (very impressive). But - so far I have achieved impressive results with Bluetooth. A plus with that, is you do not need any additional connectors (if your computer already supports bluetooth). If you want to use the "lightning" tech - there is an included dongle and USB extension cord.
Since this is a bluetooth device, you can also connect it up to your phone. Logitech has spared no expense as they have also included a very heavy and sturdy phone stand.
I personally love having the built in (non-removable) hand/wrist rest. I previously had one in my keyboard tray for years that I'm glad to do away with. This one provides much more support and since it is built in - there is no dreaded "gap".
The keyboard has multiple profiles/game modes. Like a particular game? Logitech has you covered w/ a profile for their G keys. It really is that simple.
This keyboard is solid, in more ways than one. They fact that it can go 18month per set of batteries is also a plus!
Don't let the price put you off from trying out this keyboard. If you are a serious gamer - or even if you just want a solid, quality keyboard - give the G613 a shot. You won't be sorry!

Energy saver and more!

Those that know me, know that I love cooking. My least favorite thing to do though, is use my regular oven if I'm just preparing a meal for less than 4 people. It seemed like such a waste to pre-heat the oven - and heat up the whole kitchen If I just wanted to cook a meal for two.
This is where the De’Longhi Livenza Oven comes in! No longer do i feel like I'm heating the entire kitchen with my giant oven. And this appliance works like a DREAM!
First and foremost - the big selling point for me was how well this unit is insulated. No heat escapes what-so-ever due to the insulated construction as well as the double pane glass door (yes you read that right, DOUBLE pane!).
It is also a pretty decent size as well at 24 liters/0.8 cubic feet. It's big enough to cook a pizza or a whole chicken - but it really does take up minimal counter space when you think about it (Dimensions L/W/H: 19 x 17.5 x 12 inches). So unless you live in a shoe - this will fit in just about everyone's kitchen.
How well does it cook? With my pizza I decided to live dangerously and do what I usually NEVER do. That is, use an appliance preset. Yes, there is a pizza preset (along with a COOOOOOKIE! preset). How did it turn out? Even BETTER than my conventional oven! The pizza crust was crispy (but not too much!) and the cheese melted perfectly and uniformly throughout the pie. My toppings also cooked perfectly without burning, or the dreaded "dried out pepperoni". So, a win for the preset and for De'Longhi (and me! It was one of the better pizza's I've made!).
Cleanup was also a breeze (this was another area I was concerned about). The entire interior is non-stick. A little bit of cheese bubbled up - and this was easily wiped off with a paper towel. The "crumb tray" is also non-stick. I love when appliances are this easy to clean!
Something else I found rather spiffy was the LCD readout. It is very clear and easy to read. SO much better than the old analog/dial/lack of LCD units of yesteryear.
I am very impressed with this appliance, and I have no doubts that you will be too! It is a no-brainer if you are in the market for a convection oven - get the best. And this De'Longhi is truly the best IMO!

The "cans" that CAN

Those that know me know that I'm an audiophile - the type that usually prefers big speakers over headphones.. I know, a dying breed.
So, do the Bowers and Wilkins PX headphones change that? The only truthful way I can answer that is with a resounding YES!
Perhaps it is the way that these 'phones fit my head and ears like a glove (and I'm a big dude). Or perhaps it is the fact that they can filter out practically any sound that's around you - eliminating any annoyance that can get in the way of your music enjoyment.
Or perhaps, perhaps it is simply the fact that the audio performance with these headphones are so "true to life" that you don't feel like you are wearing (or listening) via headphones at all. And that, is why such an old-school audiophile such as myself xxlikesxx LOVES them so much.
Whether you are listening to high quality, high bitrate flac, or streaming via your favorite service - you truly can't go wrong. They are THAT amazing.
Of course too, there are other cool features. flip one side of the headphones off your ear, and the audio will automatically pause. This worked for me 100% of the time with no false positives.
Don't want to stream over bluetooth, and have a device with an old-fashioned 3.5mm jack? B&W has you covered there as well with an included 3.5mm cord which you can plug directly into your device with the other end going into the headphones. There is also an included usb charging cord.
Last but not least, you can install an app on your phone (both apple and android are supported) that lets you fine-tune the noise-cancellation feature. Everything from annoying office sounds, cityscapes, and even jet engines can be filtered out.
The one thing that some....Well many may be concerned about is the price-point. Is spending $400 on a pair of headphones worthwhile? That's really a question you must ask yourself. But if you truly are looking for a truly high quality audiophile listening experience - then I would STRONGLY suggest that you purchase these headphones. As I said at the start, i'm rarely ever impressed by just a pair of headphones.. But these, to me, are much more than *just* a pair of headphones, and are more like a completely revolutionized listening experience.
Before I forget, the battery life is claimed to be close to 24hrs per charge. And so far, I can say that is very accurate with my own personal usage.
So yeah, get them! And when you aren't using them B&W includes an awesome carrying bag that is of very high quality.

Either with an HDMI cable or a Display Port cable. There are ports on the back of the PC.

I have Apple tv 4th Gen which is NOT a 4K device. I just bought this tv which replaced my old HDTV. I do not see any difference in picture quality (from my old tv as compared with this Sharp 4K tv). Is this because of the fact my apple tv is not 4K?

You can't get 4k resolution from devices that don't output 4k.

I have been reading the comments by other customers. I just picked up the tv & found out this thing doesn’t have a web browser. How do I download one if that is possible??
You can download the web browser via the TV's included app store. I just did the other day. It's pretty cool as it renders the sites exactly (and as quickly) as a browser on a laptop.

Do NOT buy this SHARP I got one in Nov and it glitched a lot one day my 5 year old was watching and it froze She taped the screen with the remote and the screen cracked Sharp doesn't make replacement screens Best buy protection won't cover it i'm screwed

Yes, if it can be installed on another windows 10 device, it can be installed here. You will need to get a USB-A to USB-C adapter as there are no "regular" usb ports. Just usb-c.

Storage is expandable. This tablet is a fail? Far from it. I'm enjoying mine. Sadly it is already back-ordered on most sites. So perhaps this is just a case of sour-grapes on your part, or you are a MaC fan, OR you just couldn't afford this and had nothing positive to contribute. For everyone else, this tablet is AWESOME. It has handled everything I've thrown at it within reason. Obviously it's not meant to play games in full frame rate - but everything else - YEP!
