Super simple, impressive quality

So, in a few short months I will be heading to vegas. With that being said, I've been searching for ways to keep an eye on things while away. At first I was tempted to sign up for a local provider's "home" security package which is advertised as having a free camera. Nope.
Then I ran into some info regarding the Circle 2. Not only does it provide a "live" mode (as all such products should) - but it also lets you condense 24 hours down to 10-60 seconds. And then, it only shows relevant clips where someone is in the video field. It can actually recognize when a person is in view, and labels it as such.
I am impressed with the quality of the video (1080, which for my use is overkill - so i have kept it at the default 720). Also, this device lets you LISTEN and TALK BACK (!!!) live. This has led to some humorous situations with our pet dog.The field of view is 180 degrees giving GREAT coverage. And did I say night-vision? Not the old fashioned "green" type, but once the light reaches a certain threshold, it is almost as if someone turns on a bright overhead light. All in all, a great product for the security minded person.

I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this wonderful appliance as it is just TOO HOT to grill "traditionally" this summer.
So when I found out I could grill inside the comfort of my own home with NO SMOKE I was sold.
In fact, minutes after this indoor grill arrived, I was at the supermarket picking out what I was going to grill first.
I thought, why not go big? So I got 2 strip steaks roughly 3/4" in width and about 1lb each.
Both fit perfectly on the grill with plenty of room to spare.
But I'm jumping a bit ahead of myself.
The grill is very simple to operate. There is a drip pan that sits in the main unit, and then the (non-stick) grill that sits on top.
The unit has two power settings; "warm" and "on". And I must say, once the grill is set to "on" - it is immediately ready for the food you are about to prepare. No more waiting for traditional grills to warm up! The steaks took about 5-7 minutes per side, and came out perfectly medium rare. Juicy and delicious. In fact, I was extremely impressed with how well, and even the unit grilled the steaks. I have never cooked with infrared before. But now, I feel like I have a whole world of grilling possibilities, which again, I can experience in the comfort of inside my home!
The cleanup was a breeze. The drip pan rinsed out with nothing sticking, and the grill with its non-stick coating was clean with a quick rinse under the kitchen sink, and a wipe of a towel. It was THAT EASY. And another cool thing? You don't have to wait for anything in the unit to cool off. As fast as it heats up when you turn it on, once you turn it off - you can almost immediately pull the drip tray out for cleaning. Try THAT on a traditional grill! (actually, please don't try that!)
If you are like me, and LOVE grilled food - but HATE how hot this summer has turned out to be (first world problems, I know!) then this indoor grill is for you! It gets the MemphisTechieRN 4-star seal of approval! You CAN'T go wrong!

First foray into wireless

The EPIC2 earphones have finally opened my eyes into how useful wireless earphones can be. Yes, I am a child of the 80's that was all too content using wired headsets (as they were called at the time). I didn't think that I would see such benefit from a wireless pair. I was wrong! From the ability to do my morning jog without a wire slapping me - to the ability to wipe them off afterwards (The are sweat proof and washable even!). In fact they are IPX5 rated, to ensure no moisture mishaps. What is even more impressive is the 12 hour battery life (which I was able to verify). I have had no problem pairing these 'phones to my android phone (G5) or my wife's new android tablet. So perhaps you are thinking that JLAB skipped out on audio quality to provide the above features. You would be wrong! I have to say that the sound quality is crystal clean and highly immersive! I am VERY impressed from this angle.
And BTW, you can also use this to make calls (has an embedded mic) and control volume via the intuitive controls.
If you are in the market for a pair of quality "sport" earbuds that also deliver high quality sound - you can't go wrong with these! Get them!

Precise, Perfect!

I am a long time and loyal customer of logitech devices going back quite a few years. Prior to the MX Anywhere 2S i was using a touchpad/trackpad from logitech with my desktop. Recently i decided to go back to using a mouse for photoshop type tasks for when precision matters. This is one of the main reasons I chose this item above the rest. There is no "jerkiness" that is associated with other devices. Another plus, is the LONG battery life. Logitech promises a full 70 days per full charge (depending on use). In fact, they state that a mere 4 minute charge can last an ENTIRE day ! I can verify this is correct. You really can't beat that. A full charge via the included mini USB cord takes approx 4 hours - and believe it or not, you can also use the mouse while it is charging. There's not a whole lot one can say about a mouse - the multi device feature is GREAT - as you can use the mouse across your laptop, and desktop without having to plug/unplug. My favorite feature when it comes to that is the ability to copy and paste between devices! Needless to say, that comes in very handy!
If you are in the market for a high quality mouse where precision matters - don't hesitate - get this!

Almost a laptop killer!

Before I begin, I have to say that I am most comfortable in an android or linux computing ecosystem. With that said, I have also been fluent in Microsoft's OS's since windows 95. On other sites, people have reviewed this product only to complain about Windows 10. That's not reviewing the product, and that's not what I will be doing here.
In getting this product, I thought that it would replace a laptop in its portability, size, and function. It comes very close.
The system itself is very quick, a 128GB SSD, with about 30GB in use at first boot. This is due to windows, and the various apps that come preinstalled. Most can be removed if need be. This particular model also came with a 128GB microSD card in the box (system can handle up to a 256GB SD). This comes in handy, as you now will have a separate "D Drive" to store photos, music, etc. This will keep your C/OS drive a little less cluttered. All in all, plenty of room.
The I5 processor has handled everything I've thrown at it so far. Keep in mind, this is not a "gaming rig" - though I doubt anyone purchasing it will be doing so with such a plan in mind. The 4gb of RAM is plenty for web-browsing, HD video playback, and apps such as photoshop.
The display is crisp, and truly is HD in every sense of the term. So far, in watching HD videos on youtube - the colors just "pop" and have impressed me, which is saying alot since I usually can find at least one fault in a display. None here.
The S-Pen is a nice extra. It feels like one is using a felt tip pen on the display, therefore it feels quite natural. There is no "Pen Lag" that other pens usually have. Again, very impressed.
The one thing that keeps it from being a laptop killer - believe it or not, is the keyboard case. One would think that there would be a hinge to keep the keyboard and tablet open on one's lap. Sadly there isn't. So unless you angle the tablet so you are looking almost straight down at it, you will not be able to use it on your lap. The case does have three different positions, but all *must* be used on level surface or table.
Is that a deal breaker? Definitely not. This is a very capable system that includes a gorgeous display - and awesome sound quality (which is normally lacking in tablets). I highly recommend this item for any connoisseur of computing devices - or just geeks (such as myself)!!!! You won't be sorry. DO IT!

Can't go wrong, keeps getting better!

As a previous user of the Linksys AC3200, I thought things couldn't get any better! How wrong I was. Granted, for the general user, the 3200 is more than adequate. If you, however, are a power-user-super-geek with MANY devices connected at the same time; you will benefit greatly from the AC4000.
Just like the previous model, the 4000 offers the groundbreaking mu-mimo technology which prevents lag when users are using bandwidth heavy applications. The 4000, however offers 3 bands (1 2.4 and 2 5ghz bands) which delivers a theoretical combined speed of 4Gbps. Under the hood, there is a 1.8GHz quad core cpu and 512MB of RAM (which for a router is very impressive!).
The one thing I considered taking a star away for (but then came to my senses) was the large size of the router itself. Coming at 11 inches across - it is pretty massive. But, really, that is secondary. What matters most is that performance has improved for me over the 3200 model. With that model I was averaging 95-100Mbps, with the 4000 I am now pushing 125-130Mbps throughout the house, and into the yard (and the neighbors yard!).
Another "wow factor" are the 6 (yes six!) moveable antennas on the unit itself. The 2 USB 3.0 ports allow adding a flash drive or hard drive for backup storage, or anything else you can think of (FTP server? Sure! Through the linksys admin page. Media Server? Yep! Samba? It can!). The linksys admin page offers many tweaks. Don't get put off by the initial setup, or by the some of the comments. You CAN go back and create different names for all three of the wifi bands.
It is obvious that Linksys understands the uber-geeks out there (which I'm more than proud to be!). The AC4000 is the unit for me, as well as you! Get it! You won't be sorry!

No more mops to flop!

Mops are messy and gross! So when this product was offered - how could I say no?
The spin-wave is very light, and has placed the cleaner solution tank closer up top - which makes it easy to access.
2 different "heads" are offered, a soft-touch head for delicate floors or to buff. And, a scrub head for heavily soiled areas.
A bonus, is that the unit can be steered with "swivel steering". This makes navigating all of the are to be cleaned easily, and fun!
The folks at Bissell have also made it possible to do some serious edge cleaning. Previously, manual push mops (of various brands) would make it almost impossible to get to those hard to reach areas, such as under cabinets/etc. The spin-wave gets under everything I tried - and that's saying a lot!
Did I mention I hate mops? Especially the sponge kind where you have to very frequently get new sponges... Eww.
The spin-wave lets you clean the multi-use pads in the washer! This is an awesome feature of the spinwave, in my opinion!
The unit left my once dull, laminate flooring looking brand new and shiny! I couldn't ask for any more from such a product!! If you have a lot of hardwood/laminate/tile flooring, you REALLY need this product!

Great product with one minor flaw

Ok, so first of all - I am probably not the target demographic for this item since I am a mid-30's male. However, I've always preferred to use a good hairdryer to aid in styling my hair. Normally I am pretty picky. Most hair dryers no matter how long (or short) your hair is - tend to leave it a bit ----- frizzy. That is my experience anyway. But, with this product, my hair is left feeling soft and smooth - and looking shiny! The one thing I think could be improved is the "pressure" of the air-flow. Not that it doesn't sufficiently blow fast enough, I just am pretty picky about that. However, one of the attachments helps to "condense" the airflow for it to come out in a stronger jet. That seems to do the trick!
All in all, I highly recommend this item. It does what it says on the box, and does not leave you looking all frizzy! The attachments are a plus too (A flat styling head, a round piece, and a diffuser for curly hair).

In a good way, it sucks!

Our household has, in the past utilized dyson, or electrolux vacuums (the blast from the past, sold to you at your front door variety). So when our last vacuum - a B&D who's power brush flew off during use (it died) - we wanted to explore a shark brand unit, as we have heard nothing but good things.
Taking it out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the weight. It is not heavy at all! Coming in at just around 15lbs - it is not a "chore" to push/pull/carry. And don't let the weight throw you, this is a powerful unit - in fact it "sucks" better than ANY vacuum I have EVER owned.
Unlike my other units, this unit has a 99.9 percent air filtration unit. Nothing that goes in is going to come out, down to the micron level. So for those with allergies, this is the vacuum for you! Further, allergy prone people with pets will love the powered pet brush, as well as the pet multi-tool. Our 2 futons (who am I kidding! Our dog's 2 futons!) are the biggest fur collectors in our home. The pet tools made easy work out of removing the fur and anything else stuck on to the 2 pieces of furniture. Amazingly, prior to this unit, I would pick up my previous vacuum and literally try to vacuum off the futons "floor style". Doing so didn't come anywhere close to the shark in its removal.
As a bit of a nerd myself (we all are to a degree) I just LOVE the other attachments. Whoever came up with the "under appliance" wand - should get a medal! First I tried it under our range in the kitchen - holy smokes! Lots of stuff! Then under the fridge! So much stuff (dust/etc) was removed, I couldn't believe we had in our house.
The shark also has a VERY generous cord length, that will make using it in multiple rooms no problem at all.
Last but not least, this shark is actually nice to look at from a design standpoint. I know, i know.. It's a vacuum - but still! Shark left no stone unturned with this unit. If you want a vacuum that is versatile, powerful, and gosh-darn pretty - get the shark!

What can be said about a pair of 'phones that hasn't been already? Quite a bit, actually - but for the sake of saving everyone from one of my rambles, I will condense it a bit!
The "Wow Factor" begins the moment you set your eyes on this pair of headphones. They are stunning in their design, with minimal gaps (which is good if getting hair trapped is one of your pet-peeves - it's one of mine!).
Comfort is another major important factor for me. Most "Over the ear" headphones begin to hurt me after prolonged use. Best ways I can describe the comfort level of this product is to call them "ear pillows" - seriously!
Sound quality for everything from simple online chatting, gaming, and even HD music - another wow factor! Highs are crisp, Mids are strong, and bass thumps. Just as it should.
Another welcome feature is the relatively generous length of the cord. Which makes all applications of these headphones a lot less restrictive.
If you are in the market for a set of new headphones, definitely go for these. You won't be sorry!

What and how do I connect the desktop with the monitor?
Either with an HDMI cable or a Display Port cable. There are ports on the back of the PC.

I have Apple tv 4th Gen which is NOT a 4K device. I just bought this tv which replaced my old HDTV. I do not see any difference in picture quality (from my old tv as compared with this Sharp 4K tv). Is this because of the fact my apple tv is not 4K?

You can't get 4k resolution from devices that don't output 4k.
So of course, the quality will be the same as your old tv - unless you get a device that outputs in 4k.

I have been reading the comments by other customers. I just picked up the tv & found out this thing doesn’t have a web browser. How do I download one if that is possible??
You can download the web browser via the TV's included app store. I just did the other day. It's pretty cool as it renders the sites exactly (and as quickly) as a browser on a laptop.

Do NOT buy this SHARP I got one in Nov and it glitched a lot one day my 5 year old was watching and it froze She taped the screen with the remote and the screen cracked Sharp doesn't make replacement screens Best buy protection won't cover it i'm screwed

Pretty sure best buy protection wouldn't cover intentional damage like this for any item. To say this is an issue with the Sharp brand is quite the stretch.

Yes, if it can be installed on another windows 10 device, it can be installed here. You will need to get a USB-A to USB-C adapter as there are no "regular" usb ports. Just usb-c.

Storage is expandable. This tablet is a fail? Far from it. I'm enjoying mine. Sadly it is already back-ordered on most sites. So perhaps this is just a case of sour-grapes on your part, or you are a MaC fan, OR you just couldn't afford this and had nothing positive to contribute. For everyone else, this tablet is AWESOME. It has handled everything I've thrown at it within reason. Obviously it's not meant to play games in full frame rate - but everything else - YEP!
