Wow. I’ve been using a different brand hand blender for years and thought it was great, but this Philips blender is better in several ways.
First, it’s so much lighter! Blending a large pot of soup is so much easier when your hand doesn’t tire from the weight of the tool. The ergonomic grip and the easy-on button (which ramps up in speed the more you press on it) make blending in a large pot very easy.
There are no other blades with this model, but I found that the one included was up to every job I tried. You can purchase other accessories separately.
This model is 300 watts which provided more than enough power for everyday tasks such as soup and smoothies. Honestly, If I have to blend a lot of ice or frozen fruit, I’m going to reach for a blender over a hand blender anyway.

Ninja - Intelli-Sense Kitchen System - Black CT682SP
I’ve been through my share of kitchen gadgets over the years; there are those that seemed like a good ideal until I found I used them once or twice and then realized they were just taking up space. So the Ninja - Intelli-Sense Kitchen System seemed like it could be more of that. I have a 20+ year-old food processor and a high-quality blender.
The real draw for this system for me was having one base unit that can stay out on the counter and a number of tools that be can used for different tasks: the base is not only super-powerful, but it really is “intelligent,” in that it knows which tool is placed on it and displays only options used for that tool.
The “Total Crushing Pitcher” is not only larger than even a good sized blender (9 cups!), but has a stacked blade assembly with multiple blades all the way up through the pitcher. It made short work of a fruit smoothie using frozen fruit and ice.
When you don’t need a pitcher of smoothies or daiquiris, the “Single Serve Cup” is a great alternative for breakfast-for-one or for making your own salad dressing.
The “Precision Processor Bowl” fits atop the base unit to make dips, puree sauces, and with the included dough blade, cookie or pie dough. I was very impressed with the perfect guacamole I made in just seconds!
The tool I thought of as least useful proved to be the most fun. The “Auto Spiralizer” lets you use a variety of blades to produce curly vegetables from “thin” to “thick” - the system comes with two different medium cutting blades; you can buy the other three separately. Right now, vegetable noodles — think zucchini used as spaghetti — are popular in groceries stores. This attachment let’s you make them at home. Using almost any kind of vegetable: carrots, potatoes, beets, yams, etc., you can make healthy salads, soups, and baked dishes that look great and are really fast.
This tool also proved to have the biggest learning curve, but once I did one potato, it was smooth sailing! I’m looking forward to healthier baked versions of things that are usually fried like curly fries.
I ended up rearranging my kitchen to make this all work! I placed the base unit in an easy-to-use spot with the pitcher on it and made space in a drawer for the rest of the tools. They’re easy to get to, but out of sight and not collecting dust. Time will tell if they all get used equally, but right now I like how well the system works and look forward to using it.

This monitor is spectacular to look at. The back lit LEDs are cool and add that “environment” kind of lighting to the gaming experience. The stand is very solid and allows for portrait mode (although this seems like an odd feature for a gaming monitor). The downside of this is that the monitor takes up a good amount of space on your desktop.
The screen is sharp and clear and makes games looks amazing. One drawback, I found was the solo HDMI input. This makes using the monitor with a VR system very difficult.
This monitor is expensive, but is well made, fully featured, and really makes a statement!

This monitor provides an easy, and very nice gaming experience. It comes well packaged and is easy to set up. It has something of a large footprint due to the serious support legs that hold the monitor steady when you raise it to your preferred height. It also supports the monitor when you turn it to portrait mode — not something you need so much for gaming, but great for working on documents.
Having two HDMI ports makes this a great monitor for VR use! It also has a DisplayPort input.
This monitor does not have any built-in speakers. Although this would have added to the weight/footprint, I think it would be nice for gaming. Given a choice between built-in audio and portrait mode, I would have like the speakers!

Gaming on a notebook computer pales in comparison to this fast, elegant, and well-equipped system designed for gaming.
I compared the performance of “Total War: Warhammer” on my old notebook to this machine from Dell and was amazed at the difference. With a super-fast processor and plenty of memory (16GB) this machine ripped through the rendering of sophisticated battle scenes with ease.
At first, I thought it was taking a long time to load the campaign map, but then remembered that I had set it to maximum resolution — something I wouldn’t dare try on my laptop. It really didn’t take that long and the result on my 55” flatscreen TV was very impressive!
This is a great gaming system for someone who doesn’t want to build their own.
I had only two minor concerns: one is that the system itself comes with only one HDMI port (and two DisplayPorts). I would have liked to have two HDMI ports to make VR use easier. I know, it’s easy enough to use adapters, but the system describes itself as “VR ready,” so I was unhappy to have to get an extra adapter to use my Oculus Rift. That said, VR runs SO nice on this machine.
My other minor concern was with the pre-installed security SW. After uninstalling it and adding my own security SW, the system ran much better.

Review for iRobot - Roomba 690 App-Controlled Robot Vacuum. I’ve always wanted to try a Roomba and this Web-enabled version of the popular 650 model seemed just right. My house is medium sized, so I wasn’t sure if the Roomba would do a good job for me. Having a dog and dust allergies makes vacuuming a challenge, but I’m happy to say that this Roomba seems to be meeting it! It’s not a substitute for an occasional thorough vacuum job, but it sure goes a long way toward maintaining the house day-to-day!
I like that it gets places I may miss; it goes under chairs and tables better than I and gets bits in the kitchen under the edges of the cabinetry. . I was genuinely surprised at how much dust it picked up!
The setup was super simple. I saw a review that said it was difficult to figure out and use, but I found just glancing through the (short) guide was more than enough information to feel that I could use the Roomba well. The Quick Setup card was also just right in length and content. Setting a regular schedule was easy, so now it's just set it and forget it!
Although downloading the app was easy, some people may find connecting the Roomba to their wi-fi a bit frustrating. It’s no harder than connecting any other IOT device these days, but it’s really no easier either! Again, the documentation helped a lot — don’t expect to just wing it — RTFM!
After just two days, my house already looks better! The doc says you don’t have to watch it, but me and dog find ourselves checking it out as it moves from room to room!

These headphones are some of the best I’ve ever tried! They are better fitting (read: snug) in your ears. As a result they DO block more outside sound, but the result is clearer highs, better bass, and just overall nice sound.
They come with a charging cable and multiple sized gel tips for bigger/smaller ears.
They claim to last 6 hours on a charge; we’ll see.
I knocked off one star because the battery unit is larger and heavier than similar units and sways when you move fast. I think this would make them hard to use when running. They do come with a clothes clip that lets you anchor them a bit. This works fine for walking and less strenuous movement.
Very happy with these!

Easy install & features, non-intuitive basic use?!

Opening defense: this is my first IOT install. I thought adding a Web-enabled dimmer would be cool. The install was super easy (if you have very basic DYI skills and can imagine yourself replacing a light switch and what that entails: turning off the breaker/fuse, basic wiring, etc.) Instructions for install were clear and very well done. They even included color-coded labels for each wire so you couldn’t get it wrong after removing the old switch/dimmer.) The enclosed documentation is just about right: early warnings for the less-skilled/qualified, step-by-steps how-to directions for basic DIY, good illustrations, and troubleshooting tips. What’s missing? See my last paragraph.
Feature set is nice: You can control the lights on the dimmer “from the bed, the boardroom, or Barbados” — cute marketing copy! — but basically from anywhere. You can set lights to a schedule, set an auto-off time limit, and — my favorite — set the lights to a default brightness based on time of day. Great for late-night bathroom lights!
Also, setup lets you calibrate your lights for dimming without glitches. You can choose from LED, compact fluorescent, or incandescent. Then you can set the dimming range so there is no buzz or flicker. Works great!
As mentioned at the beginning, this is my first such install and it went very well. Without realizing it, I found out that this is partly because this is one of the few devices of it’s kind for home use that doesn't require you to have a “hub” in order to use it; it’s completely stand-alone.
Now for the less-than-great parts: after install, I downloaded the app (easy) and calibrated my lights (also easy). To finish, the app asked for my email (“In case of recalls" — yeah, ok…) I entered my email and got the “Congratulations. Your setup was successful!” message. I closed the app, attached the faceplate and wanted to try out some of the many promised features. I went back to the app only to have it ask me to start the calibration again (ok, I did that again) and then for my email again. I figured I must have missed something, so I closed the app and tried to find out what I missed by checking the enclosed documentation. Nothing there… So I launched the app and went through the calibration AND email again. This time after getting the “congratulations” prompt, I was able to access the rest of the app’s features. In fairness, I may have done something the first time that prevented me from getting to this same point, I’m not sure. But I DID get the “successful setup” message, so I found the process confusing.
Closing thoughts: a great dimmer with many nice Web-enabled features. My biggest complaint: first use as a basic light switch. This should be a no-brainer: how to turn on a light or how to change the light level. Sadly, all the bells and whistles hardly matter if you can’t use it as simple dimmer. Ok, in fairness, it doesn’t take long to figure it out, but my complaint is that you SHOULDN’T HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT! It’s a light switch — it should just work! This should have been addressed up front by the design and testing team. Let me explain: the on/off is a push movement done at the bottom part of the panel. There’s a glowing circle there that might invite you to push there, but me and three other people I asked didn’t guess that first. Then there’s a cool capacitance dimmer slide that lights up a row of tiny LEDs as you slide your finger up or down. If you’ve already figured out how to turn on the light, then the dimming function actually dims or brightens the lights. If the switch is off, then the dimmer function acts as a pre-set to where the lights will come on when you subsequently push the power on at the bottom of the switch. NOWHERE in the documentation does this get explained. As a result, it was trial and error to figure out how to turn it on and dim it. Not rocket science for sure, but I maintain that basic user testing would have pointed this out at a very early stage. As much as the Web-enabled features are great, the basic function is something that you’ll use everyday; it should just work!

This little Bluetooth speaker IS loud for its size. It also feels rugged as described. I think it'd be great to take hiking or biking.
I like the caribiner attachment; it seems sturdy and secure. It'd be great to hang on a backpack or from a small tree branch. The case is rugged and looks like it could put up with some wear and tear. The box says that the battery will last up to 16 hours. Like many similar devices these days, the battery is not user-accessible and must be serviced by LifeProof.
The audio quality is nice for its size, but it seems overpriced for its feature set.

I’m impressed with the clear sound quality of this Bluetooth speaker. The bass is good and the clarity of the highs is outstanding. It is solidly built and surprisingly heavy for it’s small footprint. I don’t think of this as a negative as you can take it outside and use it to hold down napkins at the picnic table! Billed as water-resistant, it’s nice to think about using it outdoors without worries.
The lighting effects are underwhelming. LEDs provide three different settings: Chill, Rave, and Strobe, but all in one color. You need a separate app on your phone called SongPal to change them. I’m not sure it’s worth the effort.
Easy to pair with my iPhone and works with Android too. Simple controls on top are straightforward to use.
“Chaining” allows you to link more that one of these speakers together: two for stereo, three or more for full party coverage.
Affordable, well-built, and long battery life! I’d give it 5 stars, but I took away one for the lighting effects -- superfluous and poorly implemented.

Yes. It even comes with a phone cord. This is probably great for offices that still fax and have a dedicated line, but many homes don't have landlines any more.

This Desktop Says, It doesnt have a mouse included, Can you please recommend me a mouse for this? Also How many watts for the psu? And is it a 80+ Psu atleast?
Actually, this system comes with a basic mouse and keyboard. I upgraded it to an Alienware Gaming Keyboard and Gaming Mouse.
