I have every COD game on the Xbox and this is the best one yet! The next one can't come out fast enough!

ive been expecting this game a while ago, since i loved cod 4, i like this modern stuff, asside the online is one of thebest addicting lagless i ever play, thats if the host is from america of course ,hahah
well i overall recoend this game, it really worth the 60 bucks if you area wa/shooter game lover
What's great about it: like the wine, gets better with time
What's not so great: give me 1 more week to test it online ans something will come up, till now: nothing

This game has been hyped up and looked forward to for sometime now and this COD has by far been the most disappointing single player. Haven't had a chance to play multiplayer yet but do not expect much from the story mode of this game.
What's great about it: Good graphics
What's not so great: Terrible and disappointing single player
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been off and on with this MW2 since its' release and I have to say that it is a very enjoyable game. The fact that I keep coming back to it speaks for itself enough considering how easily I tend to bore of a game.

First, I have to touch on what everyone is saying about the campaign. Personally I enjoyed it. The storyline was decent and most definitely an interesting concept. It wasn't the hardest campaign to finish, but it was fun none-the-less, I have a decent amount hours logged on the campaign itself.

The key highlight for me has been the multiplayer and xbox live play. I have spent a significant amount of time on live, as well as just doing some free-for-all matches with some friends of mine. I have found the weapon leveling system to be very fun! I like how you have to posses either a certain amount of skill or large amount of freetime to unlock upgrades for your weapons. I always hated the person who would run around with the best weapon and equipment on a game and obtain a decent score just because of their inventory.

Now, on the other hand, one bad thing about the live play and weapons... The akimbo shotguns... Just in case you are not familiar with this, it is a dual wielded shotgun that does very high damage and has a rediculous spread that will hit its target if you are even remotely close. It takes little to no skill with this weapon and every online game, there seems to be some no talent idiot running around blasting people with these. Last I checked, video games are quite a bit more fun when there is some sort of tactics or planning employed.

Overall, I have found this game to be great! Great graphics, awesome leveling system, fun campaign, and intense multiplayer action. I would recomment this game to any FPS lover.
What's great about it: Weapon/Player Level System on Live & Multi, Graphics, Gameplay Controls, Level Detail, Weapon Selection
What's not so great: *Multiplayer Advancement Does not Coordinate With Live, Multiplayer Live is Limited to One Screen
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really, really wanted to love this game. I bought it, and played it for several hours. Mostly online. Its... old. I played so much COD when it first came out. I did the levels / achievements / the collectables / the guns / prestiege points / etc. Well if you haven't had enough of it... It's back. But to be honest, this really feels like a mulitplayer map upgrade for the old COD. It's not worth a full $60. Exactly the same old style of play, other than it takes less bullets now to kill someone in the game. Average life span in multiplayer is less than a few seconds. When you get your barings and run around a corner into gunfire, and then respawn, come back, get killed, respawn on a grenade, respawn... (yawn) It's boring, becuase it's been done to death. Nothing new here...
Single player is very quick and easy, but it's level designs are nicely put together. No one talks over multiplayer unless it's vile cursing and racial epitets... (more yawn)
I'll play Left 4 Dead 2 or Assassins Creed 2 thank you very much. Save your $$$ if you want plot and depth to your game.
If YOU ABSOLUTELLY HAVE TO play a shooter game with no plot other than kill streaks and respawn timers, then have at it... this is one of the good ones for that... I just felt that I want more meat on my video game bone. This is a COD Fan boy's wet dream. For all others, avoid and go find something with a little more depth...
What's great about it: Great graphics, and levels on single player
What's not so great: Multiplayer is old and stale. Adverage life span is 1 - 10 seconds in multiplay
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In CODMW 1 I was one of many people who played for hours with out getting tired. In this one... the story is different... After a few hours or if you prestige already you will feel bored and trying to do stupid stuff in the game. The gane overall is not bad... is just incomplete. It need new maps... maps more like CODMW 1. QuICKLY!!!!
What's great about it: SpecOps. Online
What's not so great: You will get tired after a while
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice game overall but a little short in playing time in single player.
I would recommend you resist getting the "stimulus package" yet as there seem to be issues, as I found out to my cost by not reading the on line reviews before buying.
The look and feel of the game is good and overall it's entertaining. The only drawback I have found so far is not with the game its self but with all the gutter mouth trash talk on multi-player. Sounds like it's full of 10 year olds who like to call everyone by the "N" word. At least you can mute them.
Do you know what is your 10 year old is doing on xbox live ?
That aside, I would recommend the game.
What's great about it: Better looking than the previous version.
What's not so great: A little short in the game play department in single player.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful and silky smooth display. Sound was very well done. Multiplayer can get frustrating (It's COD after all) b/c of glitches and hackers.
What's great about it: Visual, audio
