Yes, the black finish does leave prints (haven't found one that doesn't). However, easy to clean...I use just soap & water, no special chemicals or anything. It will scratch easy, so beware the use of magnets or such on the front of the refrigerator.by

The RF217ACBP has a glossy finish, so the degree to which hand or fingerprints are visible depends on the amount of oils on someone's hands. Samsung recommends keeping the exterior clean with mild soap and water or streak-free glass cleaner.- Ms. Samsung

Is the pull out freezer wire where stuff and ice may fall out onto floor or is it plastic enclosed?

2 separate compartments in freezer. The one with ice(top drawer) has a large ice container. It is mostly all enclosed, but there is a narrow 4' gap that is cut out in the rear where ice maker sits that has to be there due to freezer pulling out. I don't think there is much of an issue with ice falling thru that gap in the back as there is a automatic sensor that shuts the icemaker off when too much ice is building up.by

Both the upper and lower freezer bins in the RF217ACBP are made of a solid, molded plastic - not wire - so loose food and ice cannot spill through.Thanks for your interest,

Several times the evaporator drain tube for the refrigerator section has frozen and caused water in the vegetable bins.I thaw out the evaporator tube and it works okay for a while. Do you have any ideas on how this can be prevented. It is a nuisance.It appears there is not a heater on the defrost line.I don't have any problems with the freezer drain tube.Samsung model RF217ACPN

I'm having the same problem and the Samsung helpline could not help troubleshoot the issue. I believe the problem is the freezer over freezing and pushing cold up through the lines. This is a major design flaw. I'm very frustrated!by

I have same fridge-purchased about 16 months ago. Up until beginning September was very satisfied with it. HOWEVER, I am now having the same problem you are with water accumulating in both crisper bins. I have read many reviews on other websites & A LOT of owners are complaining of the same problem. Many of them have tried doing what you did; others have called repairman to look at fridge. From the reviews, repairman are saying this leaking problem is happening in a lot of these refrigerators. Also that they have contacted Samsung but Samsung refuses to acknowledge there may be widespread defect in this model. I don't know what to do about this either as warranty has expired-how convenient for Samsung!by

24 inches, the doors will swing out slightly further than this. I was worried because I had a wall with a corner. If you have 24 inches it will fit perfectly. Anything less, and the fridge will have to stick out.by
