Yes. The on/off switch has different stages. You can turn it on for just suction or turn it on for the roller (like on carpet). This is one of my favorite features.
Yes it does. The on/off switch has 3 positions - off, on without the roller brush and on with the roller brush. If you are not using on carpet then use without the roller brush.
It does an awesome job on carpet. I prefer to use a regular broom and dust pan on my hard floors, but it has nothing to do with the competency of the vacuum.
I don't know about TWO huskies, but this took up spilled kitty litter trails and all the kitty fur from the sections of the couch where my 15 year old cat likes to sit all day!
The hose was perfectly long enough for me to vacuum my entire standard size sofa (seat cushions, arms, and back) and recliner style chair. I think that should be a doable task with this hose.
Yes will kind of. The main and only hose does pull right out and you are able to do stairs although the hoouse is not the longest in the world. the vacuum is light enough to maneuver easily
Yes to both questions. There is another Shark model Lift Away that does drapes and other high up places. The model I have NV22S does not have that capability but does sofas and chairs very easily.
For me, the suction was REALLY powerful on things that were not carpet. I accidentally ran it close to a low hanging dress and it took it right in. If your rug has loose pieces (fringe, etc), you may want to only use the hand attachment tools.
Thank you for your question. Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Shark Navigator Bagless upright Model no. NV681. For this type of issue, I would strongly suggest contacting the manufacturer directly, as overheating is not normal. Thye will guide you on how to proceed. Shark can be reached at 1-800-798-7398.
Not sure I fully understand your question, however I think you're asking where in the chamber, are the filters located? The filters are to be washed with a mild soap and water every three months and they can be found below the dust chamber when removed.
Suction is sufficient for our wood floors; being able to remove the part that gathers the dust and particles and dump the debris in the trash is a plus.
