Its more of a computer that you can read on, rather than an ereader attempting to respond like a computer. Its faster and you can put any reading reading app on it. My kids just added their nook apps and havent touched their ereader since.by

The Android system is a complete operating system, and while you can download the Kindle App on the Tablet, you can also play games, check email, surf the web and do a host of other things.The Kindle App is available here:

You can also shop around to see what other things Tablets can do.

Yes, there are several music services available on the Android OS, and you can copy and transfer your mp3 files over from other devices (provided no DRM limitations exist). But Google has a music service, and other options exist as well.Thanks for your interest in Samsung products.

For the Kindle app, go to the play store and type Kindle into the search feature. Amazon Prime as in Instant Videos? If so, unfortunately Amazon Instant Video only works on Kindle tablets.If you want the Amazon App Store, in addition to the play store, you need to go to your settings and check the box to allow outside apps. From there, go to the following link from the tablet and follow the instructions.
