As long as your amp has RCA connections than yes you can. Mine is connected to my JVC surround sound amp with two RCA cables.

Best way to fix picture issues?

I have had my vizio E550i-b2 since mid August and have been having some image issues with apps and PS3. The primary problem is that when I click on Netflix or try to play a blu ray the bright / white colors are blotchy compared to the rest of the image. I have tried changing display settings and adjusting the white balance but to no avail, as well as factory resets. The weirdest part is that when I am running the cable box I have no issues.s

Jeff I'm no tech expert but I can only tell you my experience .I had the same problem with my last tv and it was my fault. I had cleaned the screen incorrectly and somehow dulled or permanently smudged the screen. Now I know your going to say then it should be consistent with all pictures but it wasn't. I could only see the blotches on high strength very clean signals such as blue ray or apps and certain Netflix movies. The reason I didn't see it on cable was the signal wasn't strong enough to get the white"s as bright as they could be. Hope this helps.Good luck with the fix

Sounds like either a bad cord or the input/output is bad on one of the products. Continue to use the process of elimination, if that fails use your warranty.

You remote controll should have a button "guide" It will give you the programing information. Some televisions will probide more information than others.

Program listings come from your cable or satellite provider. You can also access the internet directly to hook up with Pandora, YouTube, Netflix, and several other media providers. Their program listings are available once you are connected to your ISP and to the individual providers website.

The TV has the Amazon Prime App on it which is why it's advertised as compatible, but it's not on Amazon's compatible list, as of yet. I found this only after having bought it and after contacting Amazon they have asked me to call into customer service. I haven't had time to do this yet, but if I get any information you can use in the future I will post another reply.

Can this tv log onto and use xfinity on demand like my computer can? I purchased these two items along with a surge strip and 2 hdmi cables for my mother in FL. I also purchased best buys installation services. I also wanted to know can this tvs USB port read a hard drive full of movies?

I do not believe vizio has the xfinity app available. you can check their website to be sure.

Yes the usb port can be used to watch movies from a flash drive. I think most common file types can be played.

The E550I-B2 does not have a web browser, so you would not be able to log onto a website. The USB ports are for use with a USB stick. They will read USB music, photos and video. The USB stick will need to be formatted to FAT32.

I don't know if the price will actually expire but the E550i-A0 is 2013 model and the E550i-B2 is 2014 model. $699 seems to be the going price for this just about everywhere
