This HP printer has the ePrint feature, which allows you to assign the printer its own e-mail address and send documents and pictures directly to the printer through e-mail. If you have email access on your Samsung Smart Phone if the ePrint app is loaded.
My HP 6500A Plus supports OCR. I consider it to be an inexpensive printer, but that's relative to my interpretation of what's expensive and what's not. I got mine on sale.
Yes, as with most printers you can choose to use the black only , the 660 should have a pop up window asking you if you want to use the black cartridge only but after you have pressed the print button first, at that point it should ask you if you want to proceed with the Black Cartridge only.
if you go into your printers and devices and then go to printer preferences you can set this printer to print black only. That will make every page print black only unless you change it when you go to print a picture.
Well when you print, go to the color select or edit select option which is easy, and press the selection print in black and white.. relatively easy, just mess around with it, best way to get to know equipment.
Make sure that you set the printer to only use the black cartridge. Also remove the new cartridge and reset it because of the multi cartridges it is very easy to not have the cartridge locked in properly. The 660 tends to have more issues than any P printer that I have had and wish I had made a different choice
Actually , take it back out , put it back in, turn the power off and back on. It should reset. It does make alot of noise, takes alot of time , but it should work.
Sometimes if the print alignment page does not get a chance to print this may happen. I have had the same issue in a printer before. Try to unplug it for 5 - 10 minutes. If this does not work you may have to switch the ink but don't discard the old ink sometimes once you get the ink alignment page to print you can put the old ink back in
Once I had this problem. What I did was unhook all the cables and let it set for about a half hour. When I rehooked everything, it had reset itself. There are some instructions in the online help document that helps with clearing items that are "stuck." When I completed the clearing I had to restart my computer to find it removed.
Most power cords are compatible with this thing. If you have a XBOX, take that power cord and plug it in. Or fine something similar in design on the net.
Not sure what you mean by efax. Faxing is done to a phone number. If that number goes to an efax receiver, then the answer is yes. You can't fax to an email address if that's what you're asking. For that, you would want to use the scan feature and select email as the receiving function.
Normally you would need to reboot your computer then turn on your printer. Make sure that your printer has access to your wireless network. if it does not or you are not running your printer wireless make sure that you have the correct cable plugged into your computer. If the blue wireless net work light is not on it is possible the printer does not have access to the Net work. You can go into your control panel and normally solve the issue by making sure the 6600 is set as your default printer.
Since the question is can it be done the answer is no. Due to HP removing the needed simple software feature that allows relatively easy two-sided printing on printers that lack an automatic duplexer--from the printer driver. It is a deceit printer but should I purchase another I will certainly look closer, my mistake for trusting a sales person.
