This will not heat soup up like some but it will liquify all of your ingredients then you can heart them up on the stove

This product does not make hot soup you will need to purchase a vitamix for that option. The vitimix is significantly more expensive.

A:

You can definitely make soup with this unit however you would still need to microwave it after it is blended. Ninja also makes the BL 800 which is almost identical to a Vitamix. Yet that system is about $379.00 the difference between the two ninjas being almost $200 helps me to just put the soup in the microwave.

I believe so, I haven't read anything in the literature advising otherwise... But I haven't used it for that... I prefer to use a hand held blender right in the saucepan to purée but I have put boiled sweet potatoes and such.

A:

The friction is supposed to heat up the liquid to make it hot.
Haven't done that yet but it is possible.
This blender will blend anything and it is very safe as well.
It locks in both the base and top and won't turn on without it being locked...

Definitely recommend

Yes! I’ve been making dairy free ice cream so,smoothing frozen coconut milk,frozen bananas frozen non dairy milk it has grinded right through until smooth.

One really good recipe with dairy
Whisk 2 cups heavy whipping with tsp vanilla pour into ice cubes tray freeze 2-3 hours and then blend in food processor attachment with 4cups fresh peaches or fresh mangos or strawberries basically any fruit and your choice of sweetener amazing results!

I currently have a mixer (can use it by hand or attach it to a bowl) that I use for mixing cookie dough, cake mixes, etc. Will this Ninja Mega Kitchen System replace that mixer? How well does it work on making bread dough ?

It has a dough making attachment for the food processor which is a dull double hook and an actual "dough" speed button. It works well. But of course it's limited by the volume of the food processor bowl which is the standard size you see with all food processors.

The description states that it can be used as a food processor and it includes a seperate bowl for that, however, it does not chop, grate, or slice. The food processing bowl that has these capabilities is not available as an attachment for this model. You can purchase a more expensive model that does include it.

Yes and no. The smaller bowl can be used for some food processor functions but you don't have the assortment of blades of the feeder you would have on a traditional food processor.
After purchasing this model I contacted ninja and they sold me a more traditional food processor with feeder and blades that works with base. Works great.

Yes, the main blade in the Big mixer easily separates for cleaning, and the individual smoothie blade is super easy to clean. Just be careful as these blades are sharp as knives.

Great question Debbied!

Yes, Please use caution when handling the blade assemblies as the blades are very sharp.
NOTE: You may also wash the containers by filling ¾of the container with warm water and a drop of dish washing detergent, placing the corresponding lid on the container and pressing the pulse button a few times. Once clean, remove the container from the motor base. Rinse the container, attachment and lid under running water.

Yes, it pulverizes just about anything I put in it.
I use carrots, apples, frozen fruit and nuts in my smoothies and it liquifies everything.

I tried all hard fruits no problem, blended fine. And we even use whole nuts and everything blends smooth. I did try carrots but I it was very pulpy, didn't blend as smooth but I think maybe with more liquid it could have blended smoother. I will say also mine is not the IQ version so I don't know if that makes a difference.
