Yes, iTunes can be installed on the Surface Pro. The pro models run full versions of Windows that can run any software you would could install on a normal computer.
It can't be installed on the Surface RT, which is really a tablet and is limited to only applications available in the app marketplace included with it. (Just like an iPad)
Yes! The Surface Pro runs a full version of Windows 8, so just about anything you could install on a Windows 8 desktop, you can install on your Surface Pro, including iTunes. Please be aware that iTunes is not available for the Surface RT at this time.
I do craft fairs and want to run my quickbooks and print my receipts live. Not with a mobile app requiring another monthly fee. Why is this so much to ask??!!
I don't use Quickbooks, but it will run any program that will run on Windows 7. In short, if it worked on Windows 7 it will work on the Surface Pro with Windows 8.
Yes, the Surface devices are Dual Voltage. If you look at the Charger, under Input, it is listed "100 - 240V", so it will work with 110/120 volt and 220/240 volt sockets if you have the correct adapter.
The 2 is newer and has an upgraded processor. The main benefit is that the battery life is longer. It's kick stand also has an additional angle it can stand at.
Depends on your wallet. Right now, there is a huge price difference between the 128GB SP1 and SP2. If you don't mind a little bit slower CPU, then the $400 savings is (to me) the biggest advantage of the SP1 over the SP2. If money is no object and you need 256 or 512GB of storage, the SP2 is faster, has a few tweaks over the SP1 and is the latest technology.
I purchased a JUICED 5in1 connection kit that has 2 USB ports and plugs right into the Surface Pro no need for external power for what I have used so far. http://www.amazon.com/Juiced-Systems-Microsoft-Surface-Adapter/dp/B00C7AQXQQ
Yes! You can attach a variety of USB hubs to the Surface Pro. It is a good idea that they be powered, depending on the draw of the devices plugged into the hubs.
For a tablet, honestly: you wouldn't, My guess is that you had a bad experience TRYING Windows 8. Give it a fair try on a touch computer, such as the Surface Pro and you know that Windows 8 will out perform 7. Windows 7 is not a touch O/S.
Yes, this works just like any other computer running windows 8. The only thing to be aware of is that you can't install programs to the external hard drive, as it won't allow you to run it from there.
