This sounds like it is one of a a few possible issues:
1) There is a new device causing interference over the 2.4ghz Bluetooth frequency this device uses. (perhaps the new Google fiber router is transmitting a 2.4ghz wireless that is interfering)
2) There may be feedback over your power line causing issues on the transmitter or receiver if either are plugged directly into the wall.
3) The device may be going out/ is faulty.
I recommend trouble shooting starting with reconnecting the devices together using the connect button on the bottom of the transmitter (check the manual for instructions how to do this)
