This antenna causes my tv to turn on and off constantly, about every 10 minutes it will shut off and turn back on. How can I stop this from happening?!
I don't have this problem, Robin. We put our antenna high up on our wall close to an outside window. I think the higher the antenna is and the closer it is to an outside window the better reception will be. Good luck.
I have a motor home and would like to have an antenna mounted inside the motor home, it would be inside a cabinet out of sight. Will it still pick up stations??
You may have some trouble with reception. Especially if you are tucking it away. It will vary on the signal strength. I have issues with some channels when I walk by the antenna.
This depends upon the construction of your motor home. If you mount it close to glass, plastic, fiberglass or any non-metal wall, -yes it will work. You don't want to mount the antenna directly against a flat metal plate or a wall that is metal because this will reduce the TV signal. Mounting it 3-4 inches off a metal wall will make the antenna directional but will help increase the signal in that one direction. If I were in a motor home I would place the antenna where I can move it to different locations. All antennas are somewhat directional and it will be easier to move the antenna than to move a parked motor home to improve reception.
http://www.antennaweb.org/default.aspx http://transition.fcc.gov/mb/engineering/dtvmaps/ Enter your zip code and you will see what stations are near you. On the FCC website you have to click on the TV station call letters to see on a map where the towers are located.
Depends on where you are located. Distance from the transmitters and where you place the indoor antenna. A lot of variables. However, I pick up 5, 7, 9, 11, 20, 26, 32, 50 and a number of other channels. For example, 26.1 etc.
It depends on location, height and obstruction. Window of house facing away from tower got few channels. Moved to window facing tower much better. Distance from tower is really important. Check MFR web site for a zip code based channel estimator.
Over The Air reception is 100% free! All you need is the right antenna and a TV with a digital tuner. If you need any assistance please call our customer service department @ 877-825-5572. We would more than happy to explain everything. Thanks so much!
This product is an antenna that will allow you to pick up free over-the-air content. If you have basic cable you can connect your coaxial cable directly into your television.
Check the FCC website link to see where the stations are located near you. Enter your zip code and then click on the TV station call letters and you will see how far away they are from you and which direction. Not sure if Mexico stations are represented. Also another website does same thing but may have Mexico.
