Control your lights without ever hitting a switch

This is a really neat way to control your home lighting. The box comes with 4 bulbs and a base station that is hard-wired into your router. Setup is pretty easy and the accompanying app is user friendly.
Pros: Easy setup. Bulbs are bright and provide plenty of light. Bulbs can be used like regular bulbs using the switch, or if the power is left on, you can also use the app to turn on, off, or dim. This one is crazy, the app can be used to update your lightbulb.... yup that's right. Phillips keep the hub and bulbs bug free and secure with updates to both. You can use other apps such as Apple HomeKit to use Siri to turn on and off lights.
Cons: Doesn't work with some dimmer switches. I have two different kind in my home, and the switch with an LED light built into the switch doesn't play nice with the LED bulbs. The other dimmer, with a slider to control the dim, works well. Bulbs are a little bit expensive, but claim they last 20+ years based on 3 hours a day usage. Time will tell on this one. Updating the bulbs are slow and can turn on or off while updating, which for some may be annoying. I haven't noticed this when updating mine though.
Other thoughts: This is one of those things that no one probably really needs, but really neat to have. Being able to turn off all lights with a siri or alexa command, set lights on timers or geofencing, and being able to add devices whenever you want is pretty awesome.

Can't Go Wrong With Malwarebytes

I've been using malwarebytes for several years now. They've done nothing but refine and improve this program during that time.
Pros: This program is great for removing malware and unwanted programs. It's not a virus scanner but can find threats that virus scanners may not. The program isn't too heavy on the resources considering it has live web protection. Three different scans: threat, hyper, and custom. These are great for when you're in a hurry or after a period of heavy use, want to do a deep scan (threat scan). Priced competitively.
Cons: Not much to say in this category. The physical copy is just a paper insert with a product key and a link to download. Kind of a waste of packaging. Some may want an "all-in-one" program instead of specialized software such as this.
I've recommended this program for years and years. It's always in my PC toolkit for helping family and friends to keep their PC top-notch.

Awesome Product Even If You're New!!

I started using this product in an attempt to take normal videos and pictures and trying to add a bit of pop to them to make them more interesting and fun to view.
I would like to start by saying I've never used any type of professional photo or video editing software. So I'm reviewing this as someone who may be a bit intimidated by a professional grade software. With that being said, these programs really make it simple for someone with no experience.
Installation was effortless. You have to create an account which is nothing new with most software these days. Once the account was created I downloaded the software (my laptop does not have CD player). Once the program downloaded, I entered the key, and setup was a breeze.
There are many suggested edits which you get live previews of. You can also use a "Before and After" mode to see how your changes are effecting the original in Photoshop. In Premiere, there is a smart setting that will automatically make cuts and edits to your video based on where the action is and who's talking. This worked out great for a video of my brother tubing on the lake.
There are too many features to go in great detail of each one, but from a beginners perspective, they do a fantastic job of not making it overwhelming and you still feel like your making the best of your normal every day photos and videos!

Surprising Light, Works Well With Pet Dander

This vacuum has surprised me since I've been using it. I have 3 cats and rooms with both hardwood and carpet. The dander is real! I wanted something that could both sweep the floors as well as removing pet hair from the couches.
Pros: Weight vs power ratio is a good mix. The battery is small enough that it doesn't add a lot of weight while being strong enough to pull the pet hair from the carpet. The ease of use is simple enough. Everything kind of snaps together. You can use the wand for hard to reach area's or snap brushes right into the vacuum end for quick hand held cleanup. I had my doubts about the pet brush (rubber fingers), as someone who has had pets for years, I've seen a few of these work just okay. In combination with the suction, it worked out really well and I was able to clean off all my couches in just a couple minutes. Comes with hardware to mount to a wall. The trigger is kind of nice to conserve battery, but I preferred double tapping it to keep it powered on while doing floors.
Cons: Most of these are consequential to having a cordless vacuum but here they are. Where they could use plastic, they did. While aesthetic and functional, a good drop will likely send you to the parts page. I'm sure this was done to keep the design light. At times when using at odd angles, it sometimes required two hands to hold on to the vacuum due to the balance of the weight. Not a huge issue but may be for some.
Other thoughts: The goal was to have a vacuum that was easy to take out, use, and put away before having company or just a quick tidy up, but also be able to vacuum every room before the battery needed recharging. This worked well to do all of those things. I have a small home of just over 1,000 sq ft. but was able to vacuum all the rooms (moving fairly quickly) while using only half the battery.

F A N T A S T I C Sounding Music!

These headphones are small and light and really surprised me with the sound compared to the other wireless buds I own.
Pros: The sound. Absolutely fantastic. I’m not an audiophile, so I can’t talk all the music lingo, but I was most surprised of the amount of bass and clarity these delivered. With the iOS app that you can download to accompany the ear buds, you can customize the sound using presets or by creating your own preset. You also have the option to change what the button on each bud will do when pressed. The packaging comes with several different sized ear tips and wing tips. The default ones fit my ear perfectly, while the smallest ones were more suited for my wife. Changing them out is easy enough and they give you a little pouch to keep everything in. They charge using USB so I can use my 3 or 4 cables already laying around the house to charge the case that is used to charge the buds. The comfort level of these are great as well. I was able to wear these for about 2 hours without any ear fatigue or them falling out. When making phone calls, the people on the other end I spoke to said they could hear me clearly at a normal speaking level. Even as I did the dishes, they said the background noise was there but not loud enough to notice in a conversation.
Cons: The charging case is a bit large if you plan on carrying it in your pocket. The buttons located on the logo of the buds, are a bit stiff. When pressing them to either control the volume or invoke your favorite assistant, feels more like shoving them into your ear until there’s enough resistance to actuate the button. It’s not painful, but uncomfortable, at least for my ears. As for the app, I was able to have it connect to my phone with no problems, but my wife’s phone was having issues connecting even after disconnecting the headphones from both phones and only trying to connect using my wife’s phone. They still worked fine, but couldn’t use her phone’s app to change EQ presets. When making phone calls the voice of the person I’m speaking with only comes through on the right earbud. Hearing them was fine, but I wouldn’t have thought only one bud would deliver their voice. Finally, had some issues with sound not syncing up with some videos. This was hit and miss but missed more often than hit.
Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a great, wire free music experience that delivers a fantastic custom sound, buy these. The price is competitive for the type of product they’re offering. The cable-less experience of these are liberating and hassle free and, for an average Joe, I thought the music quality and clarity was fantastic. But if you’re a button masher and constantly on the phone, you may find these don’t deliver the best experience. That being said, It’s not enough to take away from my use case which is mostly listening to music while performing tasks at work or around the house.

HD monitors are a dime a dozen these days, so it does take a little more to be impressive. This one is average at best. The screen itself is very bright, the colors pop nicely like LED does, and the display itself is thin at the top, but carries a bit of thickness at the bottom where the I/O is located.
Speaking of I/O, a lot is to be desired here. DVI and HDMI is all you get. For some this may be all you need, but a Display port would have been a nice addition just to open up the options. The ports are located facing out the back, so finding and plugging them in are easy but no real way to cable manage just outside of zip-tying them to the stand.
The on screen display menu is fairly easy to navigate and gives you some neat options, like blue reduction and different display modes for gaming or movies. No built in audio though for this model.
All in all if you need a FHD LED monitor with a bright screen and quick response time, this will serve the purpose, but not a lot of focus on the details puts this in the middle of the road for me.

Great news, it blends! My wife and I have used this blender to make home made milk shakes, chocolate milk, and puree some pico de gallo into a smooth salsa. We've grown accustomed to making smoothies in our blender, but I'm excited to see how well this does as it takes up much less space in the kitchen.
There's not too much to the unit itself. A detachable mixer which comes apart easily and the motor that uses a trigger to control mix speed. The build quality seems very sturdy and the blade is very sharp.
The only downside is the mixer attachment isn't dishwasher safe. I feel like for the price they could have engineered a dishwasher safe mixer. I also wish they would have included other attachments such as a wisk or beater.

Ninja makes some good products. We've been using their blender for some time, now we're looking to use and abuse the processor!
The good: Product was packaged well, everything snaps together easily and without fuss, the cord is adequate for counter top use. The bowl, blades, motor, and assembly appears to be of good quality and build. This thing does what it says it does, it processes food. So far i've put together a quick salsa and a basil pesto with just a few seconds of running the blades. Comes apart easily and no issues washing it in the dishwasher.
The Bad: The bowl is a little small, it's as advertised but if you're wanting to prep a large amount of salsa or mince a bunch of vegetables, you'll have to do it in small batches. This thing is on or off, you're either going 100% or not at all. Would be nice to see a light chop setting or some sort of speed option. Storage for the spiralizer is a bit cumbersome. Haven't quite found a home for it yet in my kitchen, although the food processor bowl fits nicely and doesn't take up space.
Other Thoughts: Even though I had some negatives, they're as advertised, and can't really take a star away for an honest portrayal of the product. I can say, as someone who eats a lot of pico de gallo (lazy salsa in my case), throwing together a quick fresh bowl of said snack, is a breeze. I haven't had the chance to use the spiralizer prior to this review, but can't wait to try it out!

Fast Router for Wireless Games or Media Streaming!

Setup: Setup was easy. A small card with default wifi and password was provided for wireless setup. Once you're connected the easy setup guide walks you through getting your wifi name and password set up using the web browser configuration page.
Features: The router is fast. Nearly gigabit speeds. As of writing this review i'm getting 866 Mbps connection speeds over wireless. I have 4 devices capable of supporting MU-MIMO. These devices don't have any problems zooming through browsing, streaming, updating. Other devices work just as good as they did on my previous Wireless AC router.
I also have a 4TB WD USB backup drive attached to the router. I was able to get windows backup to work with the drive so I no longer have to attach and remove it from my laptop. This will hopefully save on wear on my USB ports. Backup speeds aren't quite as fast as USB 3.1 but the convenience of doing it over WiFi outweighs having to tote around the drive. WPS setup was a breeze with the devices I have that are capable of setting up that way with zero issues. Smart connect feature will automatically select which band to connect your device to without displaying multiple SSIDs which could be confusing for some, although this setting is adjustable if you prefer 5 ghz band only.

Cons: The user interface isn't quite as robust or visual as other manufacturers. It took a little bit to get used to how the menus were structured and where all the settings you're familiar with are located. For whatever reason the USB 3 port on the back didn't work with the HDD, the front one worked fine so I left it alone. The WPS button was located on the back so having to pick it up and look for it can be inconvenient if you have lots of wired connections.
I switched from a popular name brand router to this and couldn't be happier.

Great Vacuum, Very Versatile!

This vacuum has been great! I've been able to do both my hard wood floors and carpet with this vacuum, as well as get under my furniture without moving them around like I usually do when cleaning.
Pros: My favorite thing about this is how they put a lot of thought into the design as far as attaching, detaching, and transitioning the vacuum into it's different modes. The levers you're required to squeeze or push are very easy to do so and are located and designed in a way to make them easy to reach, especially the one used for going under furniture or storage. Suction worked well on picking up pet dander and other bits off the floor and out of the carpet. The attachments work like attachments do, I especially liked the one for dusting blinds and ceiling fan blades. Emptying the dirt trap is quick and easy and cleans out nicely. Power cord is very long and I'm able to get 75% of my house without unplugging from a central location. Cleaning the soft roller and brush is a breeze and tool free. They also include a carrying bag to keep all of your accessories in.
Cons: When using the wand for anything overhead it can be pretty heavy to use. The wand has some weight to it because it's built well, but hinders the ability to hold it up for longer periods of time. Without the wand this isn't an issue as accessories will attach without the wand, but this may limit reach. I found the exhaust coming out of the vacuum and on to my hand can be a bit annoying. The vacuum doesn't stand up due to the design, instead, you have to fold it into storage mode or lean it against something to prevent it from falling to the floor. Storage mode didn't appear to have any way to hang it on a wall.
Other thoughts: This is a great vacuum and I love how it cleans my floors and I'm impressed with the build quality and engineering that went into the build and design. I would have liked to have seen a lighter extension wand, a way to hang this on my wall, and the air exhaust to go in a different direction.

These will work fine at the gym. They come with 4 different sized wing tips and ear tips so that you can customize the fit to your ear. Since these are new, It's unlikely to have 3rd party ear tips or wings at the moment.
