Great Aesthetic Keyboard and Mouse Combo

I've been using this mouse and keyboard for several weeks at work. The keyboard is full size with a lot of great shortcuts for the function keys as well as dedicated keys for calculator, volume, and mute. The keyboard also has a simplistic yet aesthetic design The keys are slightly raised and rounded and very clearly marked. There isn't an abundance of branding on the top. The rubberized risers snap out easily and provide good grip from sliding on the desktop.
The mouse is simplistic in design but tracks and functions well. The mouse takes a single AA battery to operate and provides storage for the USB wireless adapter.
For the price, I wish the mouse had side-to-side scrolling by tilting the wheel and perhaps forward/back buttons on the left side, which are becoming more common in mice. Also, small gripe, but the function key on the keyboard is to the right of the spacebar. This is a very uncommon (in my experience) location for this key.

Elegant All in One with a Fantastic Display

HP has made a very stylish and sleek all in one that delivers a great touch screen display without taking up the room of a conventional desktop or laptop.
Pros:
-Screen looks fantastic, the colors are bright but balanced. Touch responsiveness is great and accurate.

-The keyboard is compact while still offering a number pad. This would be great if you’re placing on a small desk or in a cramped area.
-Plenty of I/O. Easily accessible, and on the back are USB type A and HDMI inputs. There is also a MicroSD, headphone jack, and USB type C port under the display. And if you’re still rocking the compact disc, it has a reader/writer for that too.
-The design makes this feel more like a fixture or piece of furniture than an AIO computer. It’s elegant but still has purpose.
-The speed is snappy, even with the 1TB HDD, it doesn’t seem to “think” too much before opening programs, accessing files, etc.

Cons:
-The keyboard is a bit too small for me. I prefer a larger keyboard and may eventually replace this one.
-Although the speakers sound great, they don’t get loud. At max volume it’s at a very comfortable listening level, but isn’t going to rock the house.
-There is a monitor button on the bottom right and a power button on the bottom left. Without looking at the bottom, you’ll find yourself turning the screen off and on while expecting the computer to boot. Will take some getting used to.
-This is a heavy computer. While this does help with use of the touch screen (don’t want to tap the screen and have it tip over), it can make it difficult to move around if you need to access the back I/O or relocate.
Other Thoughts:
If you prefer the all in one form factor and are looking for a well rounded PC with plenty of compatibility, this is an excellent buy. You’re not going to break the bank, comes with excellent specs, and the display, speed, and design is up to today’s standards in the PC market.

Amazon Fire with Alexa Makes Smart TVs Smarter

So far, this TV has been impressive! We watch a lot of shows from streaming services as well as standard cable. Being able to use the Alexa remote to switch between services, inputs, channels, and more makes navigating between all the services convenient.
Pros:
-TV was packaged well and everything was intact.
-Transferred my mounting hardware from old TV to the this tv, uses standard mounting positions.
-Setup was easy – connecting to the internet and setting up apps are done through a first-time use setup wizard. I opted for wireless connection and it doesn’t have any problems connecting or streaming.
-The 4k screen looks really nice. You can really tell the difference when gaming consoles upscale the resolution from 1080p to 4k
-Volume is loud and clear, I’ve yet to test my sound bar with this TV (more on this later).
-3 HDMI inputs and can use Alexa voice assistant to switch between inputs instead of button mashing to get where you want. You can also assign names to the HDMI inputs so you can say “switch to cable” or “switch to xbox” instead of whatever HDMI they’re plugged into.

Everyone Kept asking, “What is That?”

ASUS is the gold standard for routers. The software is intuitive, easy to use, and gives you all the features you need in a router. My family kept asking what it was due to the fact it looks nothing like a router and blends in seamlessly with my home décor.
Pros:

This is the first ASUS router I’ve owned and the menus and navigation have been far more intuitive than any other router I’ve used. I now understand why ASUS routers are so highly rated.

Great Vacuum, Floors Look Amazing!

The vacuum is just awesome. I have 3 cats and hardwood floors. Usually to keep dander off the floor I’m vacuuming every couple of days or spot cleaning as I see messes, whichever I have time for. Not really an issue with this vacuum. I come home, do a quick scan to make sure there isn’t anything out of the ordinary on the floor, and then hit the start button. While my floors are being cleaned, I focus on getting dinner ready or picking up around the house.
Pros:
Product is packaged really well, build material is very sturdy and not cheap feeling.
Controls are intuitive and easy to use.
Suction power is enough to pull crumbs, pet dander, and lint. I haven’t had the opportunity to give it any tougher tasks but I wouldn’t be surprised if handled it like a champ.
Cleaning is easy enough and not over complicated like some vacuums can be. Can be controlled and automated by an app. Navigates walls, furniture, food trays, cats, chairs with ease.

Affordable, Sleek Gaming Laptop that Games

The Acer Nitro 5 has exceeded my expectations. Having a laptop this light and thin that can still crank out the FPS for 1080p gaming.
This laptop doesn’t seem to have a problem playing games as long as you’re not looking for the highest graphic settings and fps beyond 60, which most people can be happy with.
Playing Fortnite and letting G-Force Experience optimize my game settings, I was getting 60fps at high graphical settings. I didn’t experience any stuttering or lag while playing.
Playing Paragon, the optimal settings were set to medium which kept the game at 60fps and again, gameplay was smooth even as minions flooded the screen and a lot was happening.
The laptop itself looks good to the eye. Hinge seems sturdy and opens easily enough that it doesn’t lift the laptop. Everything does kind of flex a bit if you try to make it with little effort, although you don’t get that sense from looking at it. The keyboard types really well, keys are spaced nicely and backlit red (sorry, no RGB). There doesn’t seem to be any weird layouts as far as where the keys are placed but Acer does use the Fn key for a lot of the hot keys you’d normally see specialized buttons for. The trackpad is a trackpad. The physical click is kind of stiff and requires a bit of effort. I pride myself on never using physical clicks on the trackpad anyways and typically stow away a mouse in my travel bag anyways.
Specs in this thing are pretty solid. There’s enough ram (8GB) to tackle everyday tasks with an open slot for future expansion. The SSD seems to be NVME which makes file transfers a breeze with 1554 MB/s reads and 586 MB/s writes with synthetic benchmarks. There’s also a slot for a SATA drive if you wanted to add storage for games (I’d take care if doing it yourself as the SATA connector is on a ribbon cable and they’re very fragile.) The CPU is pretty beastly for a laptop, coming in with a quad core i5-8300U it can turbo boost up to 4.00 GHz. Finally, the GeForce 1050 Ti. I wasn’t 100% sold on the capability of the 1050 Ti at first, but after playing a few games I was pleasantly surprised how well it performs.
Now for a few of the cons. The fans do get a bit loud when cooling the laptop. The fan noise doesn’t personally bother me, but if you game in a public environment, this could bother others. The webcam is so-so, it checks a box but that’s about it. During setup my laptop came default with the trackpad off. Not knowing the Fn key off the bat, it took me a few to figure out how to get it back on. The chassis isn’t aluminum which is common in notebooks these days but for the price, I can understand the tradeoff. I/O has 1 usb c, 1 usb 3, and 2 usb 2.0. Not sure how much using usb 2.0 saved on this build but I would be surprised if it was a lot.
I was extremely happy with the power and speed of this laptop. It’s ability to sit in the lap and work as a productivity machine without fatiguing my lap, then sit at the desk and crank out a few hours of gaming is fantastic.

Works Great, Easy to Use

I've been using a spray bottle and a push mop to clean my hardwood floors for a few years. The SpinWave does an excellent job removing spots off the floor and restoring a shine I don't quite get from a push mop.
Pros: The spinwave comes with two different types of pads. One set for occasional cleaning and a 2nd set with scrubbers for tougher jobs. Applying the pads are pretty easy. Lay them in the tray that comes with the SpinWave and sit the heads straight down on top and the velcro does the rest. Using the mop is pretty simple. Push the power button and it starts rotating. It moves a bit odd at times as the heads rotate on the floor, but it's pretty easy to control. Pull the trigger when you're ready for cleaning solution. The spray goes about 5-6 inches in front of the mop and the cleaning agent worked great on my floor. The pads are washable so your not roped into constantly buying disposable pads.
Cons: The battery life isn't super but it's enough to finish my floors. It is also a bit large and the scrub pads take up a lot of room. Storage may be a bit tricky for some. Some may find navigating it a bit difficult as the spinning pads may sway it in one direction or another, but after a few minutes, I had a pretty good handle on it.
Final Thoughts: I would recommend this if you're looking to get away from the mop or disposable pads and want to get a great shine with less effort.

Easy to Use, Fun App, Can Tell a Difference!!

In the box you get tons of stuff! The toothbrush handle itself, several different brush types depending on your preference, as well as a tongue scrubber. There is a small glass cup for rinsing which also sits on the charge base so you can place the brush in the glass to charge, although I do not use the glass for rinsing and the brush just sits in there. It also includes a travel case which can also host a place for a couple extra brushes.
To get it going, it’s optional, but you can download the app that tracks how you brush, how well you’re brushing, and where you need to concentrate more or less brush time in areas of your mouth. It also tracks the wear on the brush heads and lets you know when to replace them. The app definitely makes it easier to use an electric brush and helps to make sure I’m evenly brushing.
Brushing itself was definitely odd at first coming from a traditional brush. After a few uses, I had gotten used to it and could notice it was more effective than a manual toothbrush. The brush automatically sets the brush mode to the optimal settings for the brush head selected. After a few days my teeth felt cleaner and mouth felt fresher.
Only downside to this electric toothbrush, is when you remove it from your mouth, be sure that it is off, otherwise you’ll get toothpaste everywhere! It does take some getting used to and setting new habits, but after day 1, this was no longer an issue. The brush doesn’t feel cheap in the hand, and seems well made and cleans easily. I would definitely recommend this brush if you was looking to invest in your teeth!

One of the Best Portable Speakers I've Used

I've been using this speaker for a few weeks now. I wanted to have a loud speaker I could take from room to room while working on projects around the house and in the garage. This little powerhouse easily feels every room with great sounding audio.
Lets get the disclaimer out of the way, I'm not some audiophile who picks apart every sound from every speaker. I just don't have the ear for it. With that out of the way, this ticks all the boxes for me. Easily connects, portable, loud without distortion, portable, customizable sound. I Bluetooth this to my phone, put my phone in my pocket, and carry the Sony SRS with me as I jump from project to project. It's small enough I can throw in the car if i'm going to a bonfire or sitting outside enjoying the weather at a friends house.
If I had to come up with one gripe about it, it would be that the charger/audio jack is hidden behind a rubber door. I'm assuming this is to keep dust out of this area, which is nice, but an extra step every time you need to charge it. Not a big deal, not worth taking off a star anyways.
I have tried a couple other brands and this is the loudest and clearest sounding of the lot.

These will work fine at the gym. They come with 4 different sized wing tips and ear tips so that you can customize the fit to your ear. Since these are new, It's unlikely to have 3rd party ear tips or wings at the moment.
