Great High-Resolution Dash Cam

This dash cam is great right out of the box. I mounted the front camera to the right of my rear view mirror on top of the windshield. I routed the rear camera cable from the front camera down into the trim along the floor and back up into the rear windshield. There is a plastic pry tool included with the camera which I thought was very thoughtful.
What I Liked: The camera comes on and starts recording without much setup. I did have to format my SD card before it would record on it. They include enough cabling to route the camera and power cable in my mid-sized sedan. Lots of quality options including FPS along with UHD settings. Menus are easy to navigate and adjust the settings for. The unit itself isn’t very large so with where I’ve mounted it, it doesn’t distract or obstruct my view of the road. It loop records either 1 minute or 3 minutes or you can turn it off all together for continuous recording, more on this later. It comes with two mounting brackets so you can mount in multiple vehicles or in multiple locations depending on your needs. You can connect to the device via wifi broadcast and watch videos from you mobile device or PC without having to remove the SD card.
What I Didn’t Like: This is where I mentioned the loop recording. The loop recording records 1 or 3 minute clips and deletes old clips as the space in the SD card reaches capacity. I wish it had a 5-minute option. I’m currently using the 3-minute option, and with loop recording off, it just stops when memory is full. I’m not sure if this is common among dash cams, but I found scrubbing through 80 1-3 minute video clips to find specific footage a bit annoying. There isn’t an internal battery. It would be nice if it recorded a few minutes after turning the vehicle off.

Pocket Sized and Super-Fast

The G-Drive was a lot smaller than what I was expecting. About the size of a credit card and about the thickness of a pack of gum, it’s not your standard size for a 2.5” SSD.
Pros
-It has a rugged design that looks like it will hold up well against drops, bumps, and floating around in a backpack laptop bag.
-It’s fast. I only have a USB 3.1 Gen 1, but it was able to max out the interface speeds using synthetic benchmark to get 439MB/s Reads and 424MB/s writes.
-USB Type C for modern compatibility. Having 1 cable interface that works with everything is more convenient.
-Comes with both USB A to C and USB C to C in the box so combability shouldn’t be a concern if your machine doesn’t have an USB type C port. Cables feel sturdy and well made.
-Aesthetically, this device separates itself from the competition. The hints of blue in the vents really stands out, the G logo on the front is subtle and non-intrusive, and the two bolts next to the port lets you know this isn’t held together by clips and glue.

Final Thoughts
If you’re constantly transferring files from one PC to another, looking for fast storage, or want something to store Xbox and PS4 games on, this one will do the job just as well as the competition and seems like it’ll weather the elements doing so.

High Build Quality Gaming Keyboard

If you want custom key combinations and a wide variety of control and options for a mechanical gaming keyboard, the HP Omen keyboard may be where you want to spend your money. The MX blue switches have a nice clicky feel, although the noise can be a bit annoying and disruptive if you’re around other people. Especially when typing.
Speaking of typing. I’m used to typing on a laptop keyboard for work and home. I’ve noticed using this keyboard has increased my typing accuracy and maybe type a bit faster. I’ve noticed it feels like I have a lighter touch when typing which increases typing speed.
The custom buttons on the keyboard are easy to set up with the Omen Command Center, which has a dedicated key to launch the software. The tutorial is easy to follow and allows for key combinations, typed text, timed macros, as well as application launcher. I have set one to type my email address, another to launch windows search, as well as a couple others for launching applications and games. The only downside to the program, is the Game Stream service seems to only be compatible with HP Omen PC’s.
The RGB checks the boxes for what’s industry standard on “good” RGB. You can customize each key color for multi-key colored configurations. There are preset key colors for MOBA, MMO, and FPS as well as a few others. There are also animation RGB effects. Ripple, raindrop, wave, and a few other animations. Again, the program has a tutorial that shows up during first time use and can be relaunched if needed for setting up different keyboard colors.
The USB port on the keyboard is positioned in the top left corner which is out of the way enough that it shouldn’t interfere or get in the way. Seeing as how the keyboard has two USB inputs, this appears to just be a passthrough that doesn’t have to be used if not needed. It is convenient if you do not have USB input on the front of your PC, you can quickly plug a USB device into the keyboard without needing a hub or dock.
Finally, just some round about comments. The build quality on this keyboard makes it a tank. It’s hefty and solid and feels like it’s worth the price. The brushed aluminum looks very nice and the fold out risers looks like they will hold up for years. This does make this a bit heavy, which being a full size keyboard, lowers the portability. Being heavy and long, if you’re a mobile gamer who likes the desktop feel (like I do), you’ll have a hard time squeezing this into your mobile setup. The volume “roller bar” is kind of neat and leaves no questions as to where the volume controls are. I’m just not sure that the volume control needed any re-invention. It may grow on me as time goes on.
One of the main claims of this keyboard is the decreased response time. I’m not a professional gamer and only average on most days. I do not really have a way to test if a half of a millisecond has increased my gaming skill. For some this may give a slight competitive advantage, but I’m finding it difficult to see a difference.
This keyboard gets my recommendation. If you’re just looking for a mechanical keyboard that has the looks and feel of a professional gamer, this checks the boxes. The blue switches may be loud for some, but it’s a worthwhile trade off for an excellent typing experience.

They Live up to the Hype

Without a doubt the most comfortable and best noise canceling headphones I’ve ever used. I have used these almost all day at work, in an office, in a manufacturing environment. Typically I have to turn the music up loud on my wired ear buds to drown out the rattle of the conveyor belts in the background. With the noise canceling on, music off, I can barely make out any sounds at all wearing the Sony WH-1000XM3’s.
Pros:
-Amazing noise canceling. There is a dedicated physical button that allows you to switch between noise canceling, ambient noise, and noise canceling off. The ambient noise allows some sounds through. It seems like the louder the sound it, the more likely it is to be passed through to the headphones. With it off, sounds are still a bit muffled.

-Sound is crisp and customizable. You take for granted how outside noises can affect the clarity and crispness of what you’re listening to. I’ve used the app that can be downloaded for free from the app store to increase the bass and customize the headphones to my personal use. The app is pretty easy to use and makes connecting the headphones and registering them pretty painless.
-All day comfort. I sported these on and off all day at the office, wearing them about 80% of the time during my 8 ½ hour day. No fatigue on the ears or the crown of the head, where others tend to bother me.
-30 Hour Battery. Rated for 30 hours of noise canceling use. I find it hard not to charge them just out of habit. They haven’t *needed* a charging since I’ve had them.
-Very nice carrying case. The case comes with a audio to audio cable (one end is at a 90 degree). Also included is a very short USB A to USB C charging cable, as well as an airplane adapter (has the two audio plugs side by side). The headphones fold to fit in the case and the quality feels premium.
-Light weight and stylish. With the battery life being phenomenal, you would expect a hefty battery and a large enclosure. That’s not the case. These are light weight and slim enough that you don’t look like you’re directing air traffic.
-Touch Controls Keep the Design Looking Sleek. I’ll admit, I skipped the literature, so it took me a minute to figure out the touch controls. Sliding from the middle out will activate whichever function you’re trying to achieve. Double tapping the center pauses/plays. Double tap and hold will activate smart assistant if you’re connected to a smart phone.
-Holding your hand over the muff to “Listen” is amazing. I use this feature quite often since I have office mates. It seems like the microphones normally used to help with noise canceling will pass on the ambient noise. This is extremely useful if you need to listen to a quick announcement or need to ask or answer a quick question.
Cons:
-Ridiculously short charging cable. The charge cable is about 3” in length. There is no convenient way to connect these to any laptop or wall plug without it hanging or being in the way. I just use a longer one that I use for my switch.

Other Thoughts:
-I wish the controls could be customized. I feel a bit silly putting my hand on the earmuff to allow sound to pass through. Would be nice if you had the option that when you pause the music, sound automatically passed through.

-I would like to be able to tap the noise canceling button to turn on or off. I haven’t found the ambient noise setting to allow enough sound through to be useful. Simply on or off would be more beneficial to me.
Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for the best noise canceling headphones, these are probably contending for the #1 spot. You’re getting top notch noise canceling, customizable sound, all day comfort without having to charge, all the while looking stylish. You get what you pay for with these headphones.

Snappy SSD, Perfect Upgrade from a HDD

SSD’s are one of the best upgrades you can make if you’re still running a slower SSD on your computer. Installing the operating system on this drive makes programs much more snappy and increases boot times significantly.
This WD SSD is no exception. Using the SATA interface, it’s highly compatible with most modern computers, and in 500GB capacity, would make for a great gaming, video editing, or movie drive.
I used this drive as an external backup drive for photos and videos to free up space from my main drive. The almost 100GB of family photos and videos only took a few minutes to back up and the external drive enclosure easily fits in my laptop bag and there when needed. The main upside to this is having a high speed drive, which unlike the cloud, works when you’re in airplane mode, or running on a slow or metered network.

Drive maintenance is very minimal, unlike defragging with HHDs, simply running the trim function, built into windows 10, will help keep the drive running at optimal performance. With WDs 3 year warranty on their SSDs, you’ll have piece of mind knowing it’ll last you at least that long with no worries, likely much longer. I have WD mechanical drives still chirping away nearly 10 years old.
I would recommend this drive for HHD replacement, high speed storage, console drive replacement, or fast external backups.

Purchased this dryer from the open box, scratch and dent section from my local store.
Connecting the dryer plug was easy. The wires are appropriately colored and matched up with the plug. The touch buttons are easy to use with plenty of settings on the dryer itself. Plenty of settings give you different drying options depending on what your throwing in it. Lint trap does a good job capturing the lint and although a bit different, it’s not hard to use. The drum is huge and I have no problem fitting blankets and comforters. It has a light inside, so if your like my family, you can easily get dressed straight from the dryer.
My only gripe is the door only opens so far before it reaches a stop. Since it opens towards my washer, I have to work around it to get clothes in the washer. If it would open fully, I could push it against the washer instead of throwing clothes in it from overt the top.
Since I can’t give it a 4.7 due to the door, I’ll round it up to a 5. It works great, quiet, plenty of features, and great aesthetics makes it a great buy.

I’ve been using three Apple Watch for several weeks now and never thought I would enjoy using one of these things.
The design is simple yet functional and very stylish. The best part is the notifications. I can check messages, emails, and app notifications without having to pull out my phone or miss an important message because I didn’t hear my phone. The activity app has also been motivational as it tracks movement and exercise and keeps you on track with meeting goals you can set in the app.
I also find I don’t have to have my phone tethered to the hip when around the house. I can lay it down anywhere in my house and answer calls and texts without having to stop what I’m doing to go get my phone.
Finally the watch is stylish enough to look good with a suit or formal dress without looking too “techy”. I switch between a sport band when I’m going out and the sport loop when I’m at work or home. The sport loop allows me to take it off and store in my pocket easily, which I do often at work where watches aren’t allowed. My only gripe is the ludicrous cost associated with apple brand bands.
All in all, if your into apple products, they gave the watch the proper treatment and it would be hard to convince me someone has done a better job.

My wife had been wanting one of these for a while and when I seen it on sale, I had to jump on it.
The device is easy to use right out of the box. You simply drop your food in the provided pouches or create your own pouch using the provided roll. Place the end in the vacuum tray, close the lid, move the lever to operate and press the vacuum/seal button and your done. Air tight seal in seconds and I’ve yet to have any issue with getting a good seal.
My only negative comments are the bags can be a bit expensive to buy although they are good quality. This thing also sounds like a 747 taking off when you vacuum seal, so best not to use while the kids are sleeping. If they could insulate the sound a bit better, I could give another star.

I’ve been using this mouse for several months now. I don’t play “pro” games, so having this level of precision wireless isn’t quite necessary but for the price I couldn’t pass it up.

-great tracking even on “not ideal” surfaces

Would you be able to use these headphones to workout at the gym? Is the clamping of the headphones to your ears tight enough so it doesn't slip out as i do certain lifts? Are replaceable ear pads available for this model that are more comfortable?
These will work fine at the gym. They come with 4 different sized wing tips and ear tips so that you can customize the fit to your ear. Since these are new, It's unlikely to have 3rd party ear tips or wings at the moment.
