My first favorite color is green. So I have the green squid amiibo at home already. This purple squid just goes so nicely together with the green squid! The only thing is for some reason this new purple squid lost the glossy look and feel that the green squid had. Why I don't know. Also realize that all getting this amiibo is get you an exclusive costume and lets you save your gear set up for quick access in Splatoon 2.

Fantastic BUT online works weird

Know going into this review that I've enjoyed the time I've put into the game so far. I'm about Level 8 online and made it through a few worlds of the single player levels. All that was extremely fun, enough to sway my opinion to four stars.
What keeps this game from 5 stars in the asinine way Nintendo handles it's online modes. Only certain modes are available at random times rather than open all the time for no reason. I can't easily join with friends to play online; during the Mayo vs Ketchup Splatfest I tried joining with my only other friend who has the game at the moment and we couldn't play because we needed two more people. On top of that, the way Nintendo implemented voice chatting through a separate phone app just doesn't work out conviently as it only works in ONE and ONLY ONE specific mode with friends rather than letting you talk to anyone in any mode that happens to turn on voice chat. I'll enjoy the online experience for now, but when Nintendo launches the paid version of online this better be completely overhauled because I'm not going to pay for a service that doesn't work out easily. I'm going to say I'm not recommending this game to a friend YET. If Nintendo fixes the online since this is touted as an online game, then get the game. Until then, hold off and wait.

I had to get this mouse because I lost my other one. In comparison, this mouse is bigger. I think I may have prefered the smaller size of my previous mouse just for the easier portability but it's not too much of a problem. The real gripe I have with this is the USB dongle holder. On my previous mouse I could easily use my two fingers and grab the dongle to get it out. With this mouse, I can't do that. The only wait I can get it out is to shake the mouse of bang it on my hand to get it out.
Other than that, it's been functioning fine. There were no set up issues and it's responded well to a variety of surfaces I've used it on.

If you're like me, you got this game to be able to play Tetris on your new Switch. After that, you realize there's other puzzle modes to try. From there there's multiplayer madness with fusions of Tetris and the Japanese Puyo Puyo game (or for those of you that remember: Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine gameplay). For those that can accept how silly and stupid the concept sounds, there's an enjoyable story mode based on Tetris invading the world of Puyo Puyo. There's plenty of content here. For those on the edge on whether to purchase or not, I recommend giving the free demo on the eShop a shot.

Being used with a Nintendo Switch

Right now this card is being used with a Nintendo Switch. Really with everything I've downloaded so far, I don't need the card as everything should fit on the system's 32 GB internal memory just fine. However, it's only 32 GB. Sometime in the future, that will run out. SO getting this card is essentially me future proofing for later. Know that if you plan to buy a lot of physical games, this card might not be used for a while. But if you download all your games nowadays, get this 128 GB card now.

Can you take off the Joy-Con straps and put it on the console with the battery pack on and how long will the packs supply a charge? Thanks.
You cannot have both these battery packs attached to the Joy-Cons and the Switch console itself, not that it matters. These battery packs are meant to charge the Joy-Cons while they aren't connected to the Switch. If the Joy-Cons are connected to the Switch, the batteries aren't being used since it's a direct, physical connection instead of wireless connection. If the Joy-Cons are attached to the Switch while the Switch is being charged, then the Joy-Cons will be charged as well.
How long the packs supply a charge, I cannot answer. I've been using these more as grips than battery packs so I haven't actually put batteries in them yet.
