This model of the controller came with an adaptor for the PC, which is all the controller is being used for. It has worked flawlessly so far where my wired controller would sometimes disconnect (while plugged in...). For the kind of gaming I'm doing, I feel no lag. Connecting other wireless 360 controllers is simple and works. I'm very happy I finally went wireless!

I have never played an Animal Crossing game. That being said, this Mabel amiibo was cute and extremely cheap when I bought it. Mabel makes a nice friend for my Sonic amiibo, seeing that they're both hedgehogs. Other than that, I can't recommend this or any of the Animal Crossing amiibo to friends since their use is very limited and you'll likely only buy one character.

A fantastic port of the GameCube/Wii game! The included Wolf Link is also very well made and makes this Zelda fan very happy (especially considering Twilight Princess was my first Zelda). Be careful about Off TV mode as I encountered quite a few slow down moments that didn't happen in TV mode.

Fantastic console with one extremely minor flaw

I enjoyed my time with the Xbox One. I watched a Netflix movie with it and tried some game demos like FFXV and Forza Horizon 3. I was impressed. My dad was easily able to continue watching TV since I hooked our cable box into the Xbox, though he did not care for the snap features of having the internet browser or YouTube open at the same time; he just wanted his TV.
My mom however absolutely hated it for one reason and one reason alone: "Why can't I AirPlay?" I couldn't show her the Airserver app anymore because the free trial ran out. Besides that, Airserver was not updated (at the time) to be able to play videos over AirPlay. We could mirror the iPad screen, we could play music, but we couldn't do everything the Apple TV could. For that sole reason alone, the Xbox had to be returned. There was no reason for me to keep it personally as it was supposed to function as an all-in-one device for everyone. It did not matter that there were other ways of streaming video to the Xbox (Chromecast, Miracast), it could not do AirPlay properly.
If we kept it, I would have definitely enjoyed it more with games like Rare Replay, Sunset Overdrive, Attack on Titan, etc. Also note: The box said 500GB storage; I believe I got a 1TB storage which would have been all the better

Can you take off the Joy-Con straps and put it on the console with the battery pack on and how long will the packs supply a charge? Thanks.
You cannot have both these battery packs attached to the Joy-Cons and the Switch console itself, not that it matters. These battery packs are meant to charge the Joy-Cons while they aren't connected to the Switch. If the Joy-Cons are connected to the Switch, the batteries aren't being used since it's a direct, physical connection instead of wireless connection. If the Joy-Cons are attached to the Switch while the Switch is being charged, then the Joy-Cons will be charged as well.
How long the packs supply a charge, I cannot answer. I've been using these more as grips than battery packs so I haven't actually put batteries in them yet.
