Budget Radio equals Budget Sound? I think not!

Panasonic has really impressed me with many products in my home over the past 20 years and this radio was next up to try and impress me. I have 3 systems from a full 7.1 in my movie den, the 5.1 setup in my garage for shop time fun, and my 2.1 setup for the living room. I needed a new CD player badly due to my 100 disc quitting after 20 plus years. I only have a few CDs I play because they are DJ sets that never went main stream recordings.
I thought I would just setup the CD player with my current system but I can say with full confidence, this is not a budget radio. I am so happy with the sound from this 20 watt radio, the crisp sound, tight mids, and smooth bass, is perfect for almost every genre besides heavy rap. I listen to Electronic, Jazz, Big Band, Rock, and Classic 40s, 50s and 60s. Even though I am only 43, I have grown up in the music world between playing sax, DJing, and producing new songs for my sets from scratch. Listen to so many genres has helped me hear what speakers should produce within their limits and price point.
The sound quality is not $10k plus quality like my movie den, but it is very satisfying for the size and budget.

The CD player works and the LCD screen shows all the information you need at a quick glance. Bluetooth hooks up fast and easy and sounds great with minor amounts of compression at times which is not uncommon for most bluetooth connections. FM and AM radio works as it should, no complaints at all with sound or signal issues.
For a little bonus, I am currently running my Digital turn table setup through it to compare it to my old studio speakers and I can say besides low bass, the refernce between the 2 speakers are not far off, which to me is very impressive.
I am very happy with this radio and is is not budget sound at a budget price, it is mid teir sound at an impressive price and should definitely be at the top of your list if you need a small footprint CD and Bluetooth Radio.

Not Just for The Ladies, but My Wife Loves It!

The Philips Lady Electric Shaver, Series 6000 in white, is a treat to use for myself, but my wife loves it too. We have been both using it for a week now and we both have pros and cons, this will be a way to show everyone is different when it comes to razors not one razor in the world will ever be 5 stars by everyone.
Lets start off with me wife, she has average thick hair on her legs and arm pits. She said the razor with the white gaurd is the best one for her and the only one that doesn't pull her leg hair. She was very pleased it also does her bikini line with ease and was very smooth. She did state the razor does kind of pull short stubbies and is definitely an every other day shave for her with it. She also wanted to let you know it leaves her skin almost nair short and I can say it is very very smooth. My wife also loves it works in water much better than any past electric razor and for her actually works better in water.
Now, this intrigued me as I used to use another brand and I wanted to compare the male specific versus the Phillips. I currently knick myself every time I used that razor, now with the Phillips, I have done it every day keeping my body hair at bay and looking great with zero knicks or cuts. Also, big one for me, it can be used every day on myself, it does not oull stubbies for me, so, there you can see the razor is different for everyone.

How bad to the bone is this electric scooter? I will tell you! The GoTrax XR Advance is a great piece of travel equipment, especially in our little 1 square mile town. For the past week, I have been using the GoTrax XR daily around the town and hit places like the post office, corner store and even the ice cream parlor. Now, on to the review of the XR Advance from GoTrax.
Upon opening the box, you will find your product folded in half with the handle bars disconnected. You will have to remove 2 screws that hold on the brake like bracket and remove the cap for shipment. Once the cap is removed, you can now simply install the handlebars and reinstall the screws, extras are included incase you lose your originals. Now, grab the power charger and plug it in the wall and wait until you see the green light on the outlet box.
2 hours later, I am fully charged up like the manufacturer wants and ready for the open road, or sidewalk. Helmet on, lets go! Right off the rip, you have to push off and hit 5 mph and then hit the throttle. The fun starts now, grab the gas with the easy thumb throttle and get up to 12 miles, which I have got almost 15 after the 3rd charge, and go a steady 15.5 mph if you please or as slow as 3.2 mph before it stops assisting.
Turning the XR Advance is easy as can be, tight turns on a sidewalk are a breeze and can easily be done and safely at a good speed as well, the scooter tracks very well. The GoTrax XR also takes on small bumps and cracks very well for the smallish tires, sometimes with a little pull up on the handlebars, you can clear an easy 3 inch raised area but expect the rear tire to jolt you when it hits.
Portability is by far the best thing about the XR, fold it up and throw it in the car, and this came in use as I was with my wife at a softball game for my daughter and my wife needed to go home, I had the scooter. So, off she went and I could ride the 1 mile home in about 3 minutes with stop signs.
I am very impressed and we are already looking to add one or 2 more GoTrax scooters to the house since it is myself, wife and 4 daughters, I wonder if they have big family discounts, ha!

Quality Feel from Quality Components

The Logitech Signature Slim K950 Keyboard is quality, price, features, and portability all wrapped up in one gorgeous piece of PC peripherals. The feel of the plastic with the added weight of the quality build makes it feel like you are holding what your hard earned money shoulf ahve paod for, period.
The keys are my favorite thing on this keyboard, not silent but so much quieter than any keyboard I currently own and I have over 30 from testing and buying many for gaming. Would I use this for gaming? No, I would not, the positive feel I need from mechanical cannot be replaced by this keyboard, BUT, for evrything else, this Logitech keyboard is perfection. I have used it on my PC for design, cad work and normal day to day work. Then, I use it on my phone and tablet in DEX mode, it works flawlessly between them both. The last device I paired it too was my PS5 and surprisingly it didnt work, until I restarted it and then we had response, kind of great for passwords and chat.
The speed of the keyboard through bluetooth or the included dongle is the same, a tad slow for gaming, I found me dying much more with this keyboard, everythibg else is not an issue.

The ASUS TUF Gaming 23.8" IPS FHD 1080P Monitor with 180Hz 1ms response time and AMD FreeSync is a budget high refresh rate monitor. This premium gaming monitor is one of the best bang for the buck 1080P monitor I have ever used period. The smoothness of this monitor when tested on my pc with a 3060ti still was able to put down very impressive FPS but when hooked up to my 7900XTX pc, I was simply mindblown of how well this monitor works on racing and FPS games as well as RPG games. I can also say using for graphic design is also improved when you are trying to get the most crisp and clean lines possible when drawing on the PC.
The monitor can be hooked up via HDMI or Display Port from your PC. I used the Display Port when testing as a whole but I did use the HDMI out of the 3060ti for a bit and noticed zero cons when doing so. The screen had zero ghosting effects nor did it ever look blurry even in the fastest scenes. Racing games like Forza 7 looks absolutely stunning in 1080P on this monitor, to the point of I like is better over my S brand Ultra Wide, yes, I said it, the visuals are better and at 1/10 of the price.
Colors look great on this monitor, very true to color when compared taking photos live then going to the computer and comparing the look between real and screen, incredibly the screen with zero adjustments and default settings on the 3060ti for testing, the colors looks amazing. The fast refresh makes movement of any sort look buttery smooth, I do not think it ever misses a pixel change, it is insanely fast for the price.
The monitor also included a high quality HDMI cable and power cable, so you are ready to use right out of the box, no running back to the store.
The only con to this monitor is it is NOT height adjustable, I do hate this as I needed to buy a screen riser to even it with the monitor next to it.
I highly recommend this monitor for any budget or even not budget gamer.

Neat Cheap Drone for a Beginner

The Snaptain E10 1080P Drone with Remote Controller is a budget friendly good starter drone for someone that has zero interference in the area. I had a blast with this little drone in my larger yard but found once near congestive areas with lots of wifi and electronic interference, the quality of the drone diminished quickly.
Taking the drone out of the box, it includes a lot of extras for the first timer along with the controller. I charged the battery to full and staryed the setup once I downloaded the needed android software. Also, I am certified to fly and always check your area to make sure it is not restricted or aircraft is in the area.
Flying the little E10 is fun, it is quick for its price point but handles very slow, you have to think about 1 second ahead for maneuvers. The camera is a decent 1080 camera but is pixelated at high speed, use it for low speed video and pictures only. The controller is very cheap feeling I have bought $40 drones with the same cheap feeling but it does work better than those, so the inside components must be spec'd a little higher by the manufacture. The drone itself is decent plastics that seem to be strong. I put it into a tree at a fast clip because of the delayed reaction times and I was able to take right back off even after hittting and dropping 15 feet onto the grass.

Amazing Speed and 2TB of the Best SSD for the PS5!

I have been using the Crucial T500 now in my PS5 for a few weeks, well, my kids have due to myself the day I installed this having a medical emergency, and they told me it ran flawlessly the entire time and notice faster load times then the old W brand we were using. So, now that I am all good, I have took the past 3 days and really utilized my PS5 to the max, running Warzone, GT7, and ACC all off the Crucial T500 SSD.
I can honestly agree with my kids, all 4 of them, the Crucial loads much faster than the old SSD, GT7 was almost instant screen for once, it blew me away. I have had zero issues with the transfer of data back and forth as well from the OE internal SSD and the Crucial T500. No data loses or gaming issues have yet to arise, it just works flawlessly. I do not know what else to say but that, it works exactly how Crucial sells them for, fast and effective PS5 storage space.
Install was a breeze as usual, if you are afraid, watch a YouTube how to and do it, takes no more than 10 minutes taking your time to add in massive amounts of space for more games! You need this if you are buying these big games today, Until Sony and their competitors man up and give us the needed 10tb of space right out of the box, we will just have to support companies like Crucial so we can have what it should already.
Do not be afraid to buy the T500 SSD, it works and works perfect.

This Brought Back the DJ out of this Dad!

I am 42 years old, and the Hercules Inpulse T7 has brought out a side of me I missed and the side my 4 daughters missed watching and listening to me have fun. I was no huge DJ back in the day, just a small local club scene DJ back in the late 90s and early 2000s in Cle. I continued to DJ up until I had cancer and had to sell all my equipment to keep my kids fed. Well, a few years later and enter the chance to enjoy what I find as the quickest and best overall DJ setup money can buy.
I still had my old Monitors and my go to headphones, grabbed my Laptop, signed in and started the setup. Once you download Serato DJ Lite and DJUICED, you can start playing within minutes if you know the software. I am new to DJUICED and familiar with Serato, so this was going to be a challenge to come back and to be on new software. I was able to utilize an older software but many functions were not working so it looks like I am using these. Now, my laptop is a gaming powerhouse yet I was getting low ram warnings with Serato and I have to dig in deeper why as my PC has 32gb and the minimum is 8gb. Make sure to download all the free beats and clips from Serato, they get you started digitally fast, I am currently now using Beatport and Soundcloud as all my old Vinyl which I still need transfer into digital format soon, waiting on a device to help with that.
Now, plug in that USB cable and throw some track in and get ready to touch that amazing 7" platter covered in a thick and quality slip mat and a real vinyl discs or take them all off for a great feel on the edge of the platter, reminded me of my old T branded platters. Time to listen to your new passion, turn on the monitors, start song 1, grab those headphones and get ready to use the beat matching to get song two in sync so fast it is scary, I felt lazy but also scared me how fast it adjusted it. Being able to beat match on the fly is crazy all while using the FX boards as well, they have made it too easy to be honest.
Here comes the time to blend, touch that slider and enjoy the smooth and linear feel that does not let you just flick it across, you can still but you will have much less mishaps with the feel of the Hercules sliders on this entire deck. All the knobs have the same linear feel and never go father then you wanted, great feel compared to the old days of so many mixers having sloppy feeling hardware. I then started giving the one button stem controls and FX buttons a try, setting up for this was easier than I thought, it was something completely new to me as I used to use a laptop to do this, now I have buttons that have shown me you can get WAY more creative on the deck that I ever imagined.
Now, I have to talk about the platters more, more than just the feel, I really like how I can hit cue and the song will start yet the platters stay stationary, yet once I hit play, they spin. This feature helps me tremendously with time alignment as I mark my platters or vinyl with cue and scratch marks for distance, an old trick that always helped my movement distances. The platters are belt driven, I can only imaging that it is for cost reasons and to help keep the retail down. I can say though it does not affect the feel of the platters one bit, a 7" platter can easily handle belt driven and not feel any less than you would expect. Scratching on them is a breeze, I am rusty yet I still was able to get a great sound after a few hours of practice.
I really enjoy the speed slider, and all sliders, they can have the range and speed adjusted on the fly with the shift button as well, the trickery of this was mind blowing once I figured out how to properly use this feature, I did not read anything prior, I was at this point. Adding in the FX buttons and here came the new fun I have been really getting into using the past few days. Using the FX preloaded into the software of your choice, you can setup per side to utilize the effects with the ease of a hitting one of the buttons located under the filter knobs and then go either up or down on the smooth switches next to them. Each deck has its own filter knob as well so you can utilize your effects along with the filters to help change or bring in a new song or add a beat. And below all that is a button to select your crossfader function. Want to mix, scratch, or turn it off? Just select the way and it instantly changes.
Taking your T7 around is easy, I had to move it for a few days until my new table came in and what I found the most helpful for running wires underneath were the extended feet. Raising the T7 up 3.5" helps with cords going underneath and if you have clumsy kids, fluids out of your mixer if you have to play on the kitchen table, I may have had to the first 2 days. Also, you have 2 headphones outputs in the front, 3.5mm and a 1/4" jack and you can add your microphone to the back, also where your RCA outputs are located to take your sound to your amp or monitors.
I am really loving the Hercules T7, I am really getting into the groove again with my old craft, maybe I will get to play at one of my kids weddings in a few years.

Arlo XL is the Way! Outstanding Camera Ecosystem!

Arlo has been a standard in wireless security systems for a long time, being copied by many other brands. I have tested many camera systems over the past 6 years and I also come back to Arlo. Adding to my already large Arlo setup is the Essential XL 2K Outdoor Wireless Camera powerhouse. Why is it a "powerhouse" you ponder? The Battery life is INSANE! I have it on constant motion record, 24/7, and the battery has only lost 7% in a week. My normal Arlo cameras are down to 75% or so in the same time period. So, now that we got the battery life out of the way, on to the rest.
The Arlo Secure app on Android has been tweaked over the years and now it just works. In the past 2 years I can say I have only had a handful of times where the app had a loading issue that a quick app kill and reopen fixes it. The layout makes adding and setting up your new or existing Arlo devices the easiest experience, takes minutes to setup a new account and add cameras, less than a minute to add new to an existing account. They home screen is so easy to scroll through and see all your cameras in one easy page and can see the last live movement and hit play. The app is great, so many scheduling features and more, but on to the XL Camera Review.
The Arlo Essential XL Camera is a great piece of hardware. The size is still within the realm small form factor and the weight is still very light that full movement wall mounts hold them with ease.
The LED light is bright at night making your subject easily seen within about 15 feet but you can still get a great picture up to about 35 feet at night. The picture quality is what you should expect and can be zoomed in about 3x before plates become unreadable at 50 feet, there is a maximum with 2K on zooming.

Motion sensing is great, they start recording within a half second every time a car, person, or animal enters the area. The quality of the motion sensing is by far the best I have tested. Compared to 3 other brands I am still using today to compare, the Arlo only misses maybe 1 out of 200 cars, the rest are about 50 to 70 percent of cars at best, great job Arlo!!
Charging is quick as well. I used my old Arlo charging blocks and they are charged up within a few hours to remount. I may add the solar panels to them at some point since they are mounted up high. If they add solar panels to their XL cameras in the future, game changing!
I currently have an Arlo Home Base with a 2TB memory stick for local recording and have the monthly cloud service as well for faster loading when in mobile data areas. The monthly fee is a bit high in my eyes, I would like to see Arlo add a tier for people that locally save so we only need the past 72 hours on the cloud, I would be happy with that at $5 a month for unlimited cameras. But, I highly recommend you buy an Arlo Home Base kit so you can locally record as well. Someone could easily cut the data line to your home and nothing is saved. I would love to see Arlo add internal SD slots to a series of camera to enjoy at camera local recording so they could be added to section of the property that have no signal or low signal.

It Works With My Huge Phone!

The MGC Proteus 3-In-1 Joy-Con Grip is awesome for you Nintendo Switch obviously, adding another controller easily with extra OE joy sticks, but, makes your phone a gaming machine!
I have been using the Proteus for a decent amount of time now and actually took it on a trip for a week to help pass the time waiting for flights and down time before and after a family matter. This was the best thing to take on a plane, so much easier to hold during gaming and having real dedicated buttons is killer.
Certain games like COD Mobile and Fortnite on mobile is 1000x better now, I can actually win games instead of struggling because of fat fingers. There is virtually zero lag with my phone using the OE Nintendo controllers and a set of aftermarket controllers I bought last year the placement for your fingers is perfect for an adult and even my 9 year old.
The controller base works perfect when playing racing games on the switch as well, so much better than just holding the joy sticks and trying to steer. The feel is great in your hands, almost has the feel of early Xbox controllers yet easily held by smaller hands.
I will continue to emjoy this controller base whilr mobile gaming the most though, I really enjoy FPS mobile games now, more than I ever had.
I would recommend this to a friend!
