Daniel Craig's swan song as James bond is a fine sendoff. Entertaining and full of well done Bond action scenes, it I'm still sad to say good-bye to Craig, my second favorite Bond to Sean Connery.

Dark humor abounds in the DC film about a squad of super villains recruited for a mission by the authorities. Helmed by the same director as the Guardians of the Galaxy films, this one certainly raises the bar in regard to the violence and darkness of the humor.
A field trip to Europe with his classmates was supposed to provide Peter Parker (Tom Holland) with a well-earned respite from his superhero alter-ego of Spider-Man. But when he's recruited by superspy Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Spidey is soon back on the job and teaming up with the InchMysterioInch-us Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal)-apparently a hero from an alternate universe-for a dangerous mission that may not be what it appears. Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei co-star in this fun-filled Marvel sequel.

I really enjoyed this movie--one of my favorite Spider Man films. Jake Gyllenhaal was good as Mysterio and the action, while plentiful, didn't crowd out the story and character development (which is quite a rarety with most of the newer Marvel films).
Fit and find it all in this side-by-side refrigerator with purposefully-designed storage spaces for items you use most. An in-door can caddy frees up shelf space while frameless glass shelves in the deli drawer refrigerator lets you store more items on each shelf for loading flexibility. The deli drawer gives you plenty of space to store meat and cheese, too.

After a friend had to replace a 3 yr old Samsung refrigerator because it needed a very simple repair, but the parts weren't available anymore, I did my research. I found out that this is a very common scenario today with many brands. I discovered that Whirlpool is one of the best companies for parts availability years later. There are others, but I didn't have $5000-$7000 to spend on a fridge. Whirlpool was the most affordable line with a good reputation for parts. The model below this one with no icemaker or drinks dispenser had a fake stainless steel front that people complained was terrible (shows every fingerprint, can't be cleaned and in some cases rusted). That one wasn't for me, but this model had great reviews from owners so I gave it a try. It has turned out to be a great refrigerator. The REAL stainless steel front is fantastic--it barely ever shows fingerprints, is a snap to clean when it does (just run a damp towel over it and it looks like new) and holds more inside than I ever expected. I love everything about it except that the shelves are not adjustable. That is the ONLY room for improvement (and the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5), everything else exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this refrigerator to anybody looking for a great product in this price range.
Although time travel has been outlawed in the year 2074, criminal organizations still use it to dispose of their enemies, sending them back 30 years where they're eliminated by contract killers called loopers. In 2044, a looper named Joe Simmons (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) realizes that his latest target is his older self (Bruce Willis) who means to carry out a hit of his own. Mindbending sci-fi actioner also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Piper Perabo, Jeff Daniels. 119 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.

Bruce Wills' last good movie, Looper looks great on 4K Blu-ray. A clever script, interesting characters and excellent acting make Looper a movie to definately see. Willis plays the time travelling future version of the man Joseph Gordon Levitt plays in a younger incarnation. Levitt must track down his future self and stop him from funding and assassinating a future powerful criminal boss while that boss is still a child or suffer the consequences. I hate giving away spoilers, so I won't say more. The 4K blu-ray looks surprisingly good for a film unconverted from a 2K master. The addition of HDR is really the game changer here. It looks dramatically superior to the standard Blu-ray. Highly recomanded.
The mind-blowing, Oscar-winning blend of Raymond Chandler and Tex Avery stars Bob Hoskins as a seedy private eye in a '40s Hollywood populated by humans and animated InchtoonsInch who must clear cartoon star Roger Rabbit of a murder charge. With Christopher Lloyd, and the voices of Charles Fleischer and Kathleen Turner; cameos by Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, and others. 104 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.

Roger Rabbit is still a fun movie and holds up well after all these years. The 4K Blu-ray looks very good and is an upgrade from the HD blu-ray (although not a MASSIVE one). A large percentage of the movie involves optical effects to combine animated characters with live people and in the era in which the film was made, that meant losing at (the very least) one full additional generation from the negative. ILM did a great job reducing the loss in sharpness and increase in contrast to a minimum, but the loss is still there. Never the less, this movie by director Robert Zemikis (the director of Back to the Future and Forrest Gump) will never look like the absolute best 4K blurays in existance. I was very pleased with the quality, but it isn't mind blowing. Still, Who Framed Roger Rabbit will never look better and this disc comes highly recommended.

Emerging unscathed as the sole survivor of a horrific train crash, Philadelphia security guard David Dunn (Bruce Willis) realizes his life has been free of injury and illness. Elijah Price (Samuel L. Big improvement over HD Blu-ray. Picture quality is fantastic on this 4K Blu-ray.
This is the most interesting and realistic superhero origin story I've ever seen. A much more realistic take than the typical Marvel or DC fare. Bruce Willis plays a man who is the lone survivor of a horrible train disaster--and is not only the lone survivor, but has survived it completely unharmed. Later, he discovers a business card under his windshield wiper with the question hand written on the back asking, "How many times in your life have you ever been sick?" He thinks about it and realizes that he can't remember being sick with so much as a cold even once in his life, and goes to see the man who's name is on the business card to find out why he left the card and asked the strange question. The man suggest to him a quite amazing theory, that Willis may be something more than just an ordinary man--and that throughout history, people have occasionally appeared who are stronger and more difficult to injure than ordinary humans, that legends of figures such as Hercules, Samson and Achilles might actually be based on a phenomenon that really exists--on a special type of person who is occasionally born in order to protect those who are unable to protect themselves. And the train crash isn't the only such incident in his life he has survived either. Willis can't help but begin testing his physical limitations just to see if the silly idea hold water, and as he does so his son begins to believe that his father really is something beyond ordinary people, even though Willis remains in denial about it at first himself. How would you or any other real person respond to such an outlandish idea? We certainly wouldn't don skin tight leotards like the superheroes in comics and movies--and neither does he. But, he slowly begins to believe in the possibility that maybe--just maybe--there might actually be something real to the utterly insane idea that he could be something more than an ordinary human being, someone truly special. This is the most realistic take on how a person would react to discovering they were more than ordinary people ever put on film. It is without a doubt the most intelligent, adult and believable take on the whole idea of a superhero ever done. It is not an action film but a straight drama about how a real person would respond to such a crazy theory about themselves and what they would do if their tests of their own physical limitations started to hint that such an idea might possibly be true. Unbreakable is a very unusual movie which is extremely well done. A great script, great acting and great directing makes this unusual story surprisingly believable. I really liked it--and I typically find the whole superhero idea to be utterly silly and juvenile. Yet this film presented the idea in a very adult and unusually realistic manner. This is a film for grownups and does not pander to kids in the least. I highly recommend this very unique and extremely well done film. It is truly a one of a kind motion picture.

Stanley Kubrick's most controversial film looks spectacular in 4K! The audio could have used an upgrade, but the picture blows away the standard Blu-ray! The picture has never looked sharper and the boost from HDR is also a welcome upgrade. I don't remember it looking this good in the theater! If you are a fan, this is well worth the inve3stment.

A fantastically entertaining true story of the car that beat Ferrari at its' own game. Well told, well acted and well directed, this was a movie I found myself really enjoying. The Fort GT was my favorite car as a child racing fan and seeing the story behind it's creation told so entertainingly well was a real treat. The 4K Blu-ray, by the way looks absolutely spectacular! I highly recommend this above average disc.
