Is there a perfect case for Macbook? Probably not but, I really like this. It's snug, the black goes well with my space black machine and I'm over having all the doodads and stuff in the same bag. Really nice to slip into a suitcase or backpack and go. Good price as well.

Almost as good as OLED at less than half the price

I have a 65in Sony A8. But, as I re-configured my family room I ended up with a big wall that kind of dwarfed it. So, when I went to my local, I was able to compare that this X90 and the A8 were indeed the two best to my eyes. By a long shot. Side by side the blacks on the A8 are unbelievably good but, for something like 3k less X90 was very close in color areas, brightness (possibly better) sharpness, etc.
So, I pulled the trigger at 2195 and then found out it was 1995 a day later (of course) and Best Buy honored that price no problem, especially since I have their card which is one reason it's probably worthwhile to have one. Install was flawless from Geek Squad just moving my existing mount and hooking to my Onkyo recever and polk towers. Once I played with the settings I got an even better picture than in the store. it's not perfect but, it's a great deal and looks very very good. I would HIGHLY recommend it for sports enthusiasts. They look amazing on this screen.

Sci fi classic must own

Such a strange and wonderful film. Maybe more relevant today than it was in 1972. The transfer is really good for a fifty year old film. I assume the features are the same as before but, I watched them all and they really give you a good feel for the movie. Especially the literal impact that the landmark movie "Freaks" had on Trumball and this film. As with all Arrow releases you can flip the cover to the original 1972 imagery, though this is a pretty good updated version. Nice touches like this abound with this release. Well worth the price.

Fun on a plastic disc

80s straight cheese classic. It makes absolutely no sense, especially the climactic scene but, it looks absolutely fantastic now. The colors are well done, flesh tones right, back levels perfect, almost reference quality of how films from the 80s should look. I don't have Atmos (Polk Audio Soundbar and Sub) and I think it starts with Atmos as the default and still sounds very good but, at a much lower volume - again I'm sure because I'm not equipped right so, check your gear and your disc settings for sure. The regular 5.1 is rock concert blasting volume so, play around with the audio and get what you want, it will tax your system if you let it and why not? It's the 80s man.

I had a pair of Klipsch before and I like their midrange better but, hey it's Beats, you get the bass and the highs are pretty fine. So far the battery life for me, is great. The Greatest anime movie of all-time now in 4K

Kaneda, Tetsuo, Akira. Wow those names just resonate throughout this complex and compelling film. Flawless transfer to 4k of an 80s print with some of the best hand drawn animation you will ever see. I haven't compared it side by side with my Blu Ray but, it does seem extraordinarily crisp with great black levels. If you even remotely like anime (or Heavy Metal or Blade Runner for that matter) and haven't seen this, pick it up with confidence. I also like the audio track quite well here and as before the English dub actually shines. You'll need it in order not to read and miss all the jump cuts, visual detail and richness of this work of art. Which on the first time through can be disorienting. Enjoy!
