the grip is great once you get the phone in. probably for the best so you're not easily pulling the phone out while driving.
the grip is so tight that you have to use two hands to get your device out or risk pulling the whole mount out of the vent.
don't know about the CD slot option, my 2020 Hyundai does not have a CD player (people use CDs still?)

these are very nice protection for your big and spendy phone. does not add a ton of bulk to the device.
the only downside, pocket lint is easily picked up by the silicone "finish".
It also "sticks" inside your pocket so if you're not careful you could pull to hard and the phone goes flying out of your hand.

if only there was still the 'wet application' install these would be the perfect protection.
flexible and self healing make daily wear and tear nothing to fret about.
install in a clean room, but at the least install it WELL away from any HVAC vents. any dust gets under that in the prep process and you're out $30.
you cannot pull these off an reposition like the hard glass ones

Yes, there are a ton of cheap options on the market but you won't be happy. The cheap options I've tried have a magnet to attach to the Tab (just like the Samsung brand) but they use magnets that create a weird deadspot inthe middle of the screen.
This one has also not shown how heaviyl I use my Tab. The cheapo ones were garbage in less than a month.

Fantastic Samsung build, glorious and clear screen, outstanding camera. The pen, while not someting I use a lot, does work perfectly and with nearly ever app I have for drawing, sketching, noting.
Plenty of fun Samsung apps pre-installed for productivity, connecting your home, connecting your life in general. But beware, many of Samsungs apps are just re-worked Android native apps.
Worth the cost for anyone wanting the best for Android.
Size is perfect for the average human hand, got big hands...get the Plus version.
Works perfectly with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile (though you'll hate TMobile's terrible coverage)
