Beverly hills cop 1 & 2 are my favorites of the three and of coarse the first one being the best, the 3rd one, it was just okay, the fact they are selling all 3 together at a low price, i couldn't turn it down, shipping was fast, all of the movies work with no problems and the case is in good condition.

This is one of my top musicals from start to finish. However seeing it in blu ray has simply blown me away. The clarity and the magnificent sound quality has made this a movie everyone who owns a blu ray player should buy without hesitation. The Gershwin score and the choreography is amazing and let's not forget Kay Thompson who literally brings down the house with her duet with Fred Astaire on CLAP YO' HANDS. Audrey Hepburn proves to be a fine dancer and handles her songs with great charm.(She uses her own voice and it works well with the material) This musical could have easily been a product of the great MGM studios. Roger Edens, Fred Astaire etc. Buy without hesitation.

This Carole King pseudo-bio is a vehicle for Ileana Douglas. Edna Buxbaun aka Denise Waverly, a frustrated singer who turns to song-writing when the path to singing is blocked. In time, she writes several hit songs, gets married, has children, gets divorced, has an affair, gets married, and becomes widowed. All of these trials and triumphs feeds her song material. In truth, this is an amazing movie of searching for one's voice, battling, and singing about life. Watch this movie and enjoy the ride.

the daddy of the genre

Grandaddy of all modern zombie movies, though George Romero has stated his inspiration for this was Richard Matheson's novella "I Am Legend" , which was made into a movie in 1964..."Last Man On Earth", starring Vincent Price...Romero said this movie was an"homage" to "I Am Legend"...Matheson quipped he didn't realize that homage meant his work was going to be used but he wasn't going to get paid for it...originally in black and white, this is a colorized version...while not a huge fan of colorizing movies, this one doesn't suffer too much under the technology...doesn't make it a better film, but it doesn't detract from it terribly either....the storyline is familiar to almost anyone who has seen a zombie movie...strangers thrown together in a strange building...do they make a run for it, or sit tight and wait for rescue that may never come? Usual conflicts of characters, bickering, and lots of flesh eating ghouls...pretty graphic stuff for 1968...truly a classic, and a genre defining movie...

I grew up with Hocus Pocus as a kid and played the hell out've the VHS version that we had at the time, no matter the time of year! At 22, I am still obsessed with this movie and after watching it several times this Halloween, I decided that it was high time I commemorated it to my movie collection! For anyone skeptical for any reason, don't be! The picture has been mastered to fill the entire screen (an issue I had seen was common among the DVD was that it was matted off into a tiny window) the picture is full 1080p HD and the sound is emacculate alongside it. Between that and the beautifully remastered color quality, you would never guess that this film is over 20 years old. As a movie lover and longtime Hocus Pocus fanatic, I can say that you haven't seen the movie until you see it like this! Buy it, you won't regret it!!

cant beat the original

John Carpenter's original HALLOWEEN is by far the best of the series. This "economically" produced horror film started the Slasher Movie craze, made Jamie Lee Curtis a star, and held the record for highest grossing Independent Film for many years. It's become a staple on TV during Halloween season, and has been re-made (badly) by Rob Zombie. There's talk of yet another reboot, but it I doubt another director can recreate the simplicity of the original. It's been done, pretty much perfectly, so just leave it alone...

Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) didn't know why she was being hunted by a shape-shifting killing machine (Gabriel Luna) from the future. She just knew that her survival rested with time-tossed cyborg warrior Grace (Mackenzie Davis), veteran robot fighter Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), and aging, assimilated T-800 InchCarlInch (Arnold Schwarzenegger). Return to the storied sci-fi franchise for producer/co-writer James Cameron co-stars Diego Boneta, Steven Cree, Edward Furlong; Tim Miller directs. 128 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks English Dolby Atmos, French Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles English (SDH), French, Spanish; deleted scenes; featurettes. Two-disc set.

great rethinking of the original

Terminator: Dark Fate is just a very entertaining blockbuster. The action is really good. The locales look nice. There's a nice violence-to-story ratio. Decent dialogue with a string of some very funny lines.
I noticed that a lot of reviews have criticized this movie for having the same basic structure of the original films. I suppose this is true, but I found the movie did a good enough job that it didn't bother me. However, there was one moment of synchronicity with the first film that I could've done without.
I can't go into details but this movie does one thing that some of recent action/adventure films set decades after the original or originals do that is kind of annoying and a bit jaded.
Linda Hamilton makes this film. She is now tough, doesn't give-a-frick old lady and steals whatever scene she is in. Some of the best parts is her interaction with Mackenzie Davis' Grace, who is an augmented soldier from the future. They both have the same goal but different attitudes and their verbal sparring is fun.
The new antagonist the Rev-9 is a combination of the original Terminator and Terminator 2's the T-1000. Despite the retreading, he actually feels fresh. He's got a pretty neat ability and his Terminator form may be the creepiest of them. The mannerisms of his human form (Gabriel Luna who was Ghost Rider on Agents of Shield) may be too similar to Robert Patrick's T-1000 for some, but Luna does a great job in the role, switching from emotionless machine to someone charismatic who can blend in.
Definitely liked this better than T3 and Salvation, and I was one of those people who liked the latter. (Haven't seen Genesys, yet.) But, I admit this doesn't quite have the specific James Cameron feel of the first two films. As I said, this is a blockbuster and in terms of just being entertaining and not being innovative it does what I was looking for.

Amazing mystery movie that keeps you guessing. DON'T TALK TO ANYONE WHO HAS SEEN IT. Don't even watch the trailer. Just know that there is a twist in the movie, and the less you know, the more you will enjoy it. Not to say that its completely unwatchable a second time with you knowing the twist. In fact, with a second viewing you may notice things you never noticed before. And watching this with those who have never seen it before can be quite a hoot. Some may look and the run time and cringe, but trust me this movie will suck you in and you will be completely engrossed. But I will warn you, don't watch this for date night, especially if you are on the outs
The acting is surperb, the screenplay is amazing (and written by the same woman who wrote the book) and David Fincher is the perfect director for this movie.

Love having all 3 versions in 1 collection. GREASE , of course, is A CLASSIC. GREASE 2 ,which I have always loved, is highly underrated. And The Live Musical Version is a great new twist with some minor changes on the Original.

I liked the movie. What I mean by TV movie is low-ish budget, not the best acting, and a kinda dumb plot.
Unfortunately, Horror movies in general suffer from those three issues anyway.
The thing that stands out to me is the blood and gore effects. They used a lot of real props and practical effects, and the manner in which kills are set up are fun.
I was wavering between like 3 - 3.5 stars, but you can't really give half stars on Amazon... Right now I'm feeling a tad generous, So... 4 Stars.
I was initially hesitant on giving a review, but as there is only One review of someone who actually saw the movie, I feel the need to contribute. Hope more people give honest reviews, as the remaining reviews are written prior to the movie's digital release.
