I like the design of this steelbook even if it is a bit basic and minimal (Lionsgate movie steelbooks kind of raised the bar). But I'm very happy to own this edition with the others in this recent Halloween trilogy. Same discs as the standard 4K UHD and blu-ray edition.

Maybe the (upcoming in a few months, as of this writing) 4K UHD disc with bonus disc might work better for you. But this is a perfectly great and acceptable copy of the movie if you're a fan.

This steelbook looks about as good in person as it does in pics. The title on front is lightly indented and that's a nice touch. The steelbook case is glossy and smooth and I kind of wish more of these could have a matte finish.
I'm a big fan of this recent Halloween trilogy and of the series as a whole. I'm really happy to now have a complete collection.

This was a great skillfully made action movie that I think still deserves a sequel based on all the people who've discovered and loved it over the past ~10years.
The 4K UHD looks great. Extra features are substantive and informative. And this steelbook design is beautiful. Lionsgate has very talented illustrators working for their steelbook releases and they've become really dependable for releasing great looking releases for us who enjoy collecting physical media.

A great looking game with an involving story and well developed characters. An open world that's great fun to just travel around in and explore. And I know this shouldn't be too surprising for a game that's a few years old at this point (yet doesn't show its age at all, in my opinion) is that it runs perfectly great and well on my basic PS4 console. Smooth framerate and wondeful visuals that don't leave me wondering how much better it might be when I get a PS5 or if I was playing it on a PS4 Pro.
Highly recommended to just have in your games collection, whether you want to play through the story or just want another open world to idly explore. In both of those regards, this is one of the best from this generation of games.

My 2020 comfort movie?

The last thing I saw in the theater in early 2020 was my second viewing of this movie. It was a good choice and seems to hold sentimental value for me because of that. But, you know, it was also my second viewing so I know it holds value just for being a great and entertaining thriller. Very happy to have this in my collection. The UHD looks and sounds great.
I will also recommend the movie Upgrade, from the same director Leigh Whannell. It seemed to be underpromoted and underseen, and I'm glad Blumhouse keeps letting him do what he wants, because he does it very well.

This is a great movie and, after seeing in the theater, I was really surprised by the initial tepid reviews it got. I still feel like this will gain at least a cult following and wider appreciation within the next few years. It's gorgeously shot and directed, with imagery that reminded me of stylized European horror films from the 70's and Alejandro Jodorowsky.
My summation of the movie is that it feels like an A24 film for young adults. To me, that's very cool and unique. I think I read the director would have liked to make more fairy tale types of films in this style, and I wish and hope he might get the chance.
