One of the good movies based on DC Comics

This movie fits the tone of the DC Comics* character very well, and is a refreshingly lighter movie especially compared to some of the gloomier DC movies like Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman.
Picture and sound quality is fantastic in 4k. Even if you don't have 4k equipment yet, but plan on it in the future, get this since it includes a blu-ray version and a digital copy code you can enjoy now.
Extras are fun as well.

Another great season for an awesomely funny show. Blu-ray picture and sound is excellent. The 3 extras are small, but fun, and in 1080 as well.
Really bummed this is apparently the last season to get a blu-ray release. Season 7 and up have only been released on dvd. This seems to be a trend for more and more tv shows.

Not quite as good as the first film (mostly because the first film's fun, wild tone was so surprising), but still a fun movie. Definitely worth seeing if you liked the first one. Elton John is fantastic.
4k image is a really nice improvement on the blu-ray.

This is a great monitor for the price. I use it for everyday computer usage, and it has worked perfectly. There were no dead pixels. No need to tweak the settings, at least for me. I recommend downloading the driver from hp's website before plugging it in - it may not need it, but it just ensures it will plug and play smoothly.
There are no usb ports or speakers, which I knew from reading the description. No hdmi cable included, just a vga cable, but again, I knew that from the description.

I saw this in the theater when it first came out. It's really fun - kinda cheesy, but a movie that knows its cheesy. The soundtrack really dates it, of course, but I think it holds up pretty well. Picture is great for it's age and production budget. A lot of special features included, too. Great value.

If you like Bill Murray and A Christmas Carol, this is an easy purchase. It's a clever, contemporary (well, 80's contemporary) take on the story. Carol Kane is amazing as the ghost of Christmas Present. The picture quality in Blu-Ray is terrific. The only downside is that there are no extras other than a theatrical trailer.

Another great Studio Ghibli movie

The animated movies of Studio Ghibli, especially the ones directed by Myazaki, are beautiful movies for all ages. Pacing ranges from fast action to slow setting-establishing shots. They're full of character. They don't talk down to the audience. There are many reasons these films are so loved in Japan and tend to win over those who don't care for anime or any animated films, for that matter.
Disney had released the films of Studio Ghibli on disc previously, but these GKIDS releases are better. They have better translations for the subtitles and include extras that had only been on the Japanese releases. If you prefer watching these movies in their native language with subtitles, these are the discs to have.
We're big fans of having the physical discs rather than going with digital only versions. Discs don't rely on an internet connection and you own them - you technically own a digital only version, too, but if the platform/app goes away, you may lose access to it.
