I was given a few year old samsung soundbar and subwoofer for my display. Didnt have any cables tho. I really had no idea what I was doing, so my boy at Best Buy had me get these. I wish i could give a more detailed review, but I really have no idea what I'd be talking about. So, I will say "they work for me". Im happy I purchased them. Good price, too. 6 feet length was more than enough. Nothing else really to talk about. Im just chatting away though. Cant wait for movie theaters to open again. Those were fun. I hear Evil Dead is at the drive-in in cali this week. Might try to check that out. 45 minute drive though. I dunno.

I had to get this for my 4k collection. Im glad they picked this title to get the 4k treatment, but how does it look? Well, they did go pretty heavy handed with the grain here. It was released the same day as Top Gun 4k. Top Gun being the better transfer of the two.
If you are a grain-hater, you might not want this title. Buy the movie because you love it, just do not buy it for the transfer. I will add that the film does look very nice at times and it improves as it goes, much like Karate Kid 4k.

I loved this film and was happy to support it by picking up the blu ray. Such a good time.
I was surprised that it did not get the 4k treatment. Oh, well. The blu ray looks good enough, it doesnt necessarily need a 4k transfer. This is a great looking disc and I would use it to demo my display.
What you can't see can hurt you. Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss (Us, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale) stars in a terrifying modern tale of obsession inspired by Universal's classic monster character. Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer, NBC's The InBetween), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, HBO's Euphoria). But when Cecilia's abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia's sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see. It was a decent enough movie for me to pick up. I notice a lot of people liked it more than I did.
As far as the transfer, this was shot on digital and looks very good. The film doesnt have a wide array of color, but it handles dark scenes and shadows very well. I would say this is one of the better looking 4k discs of 2020 (by july).

BUSH Live in Tampa blu ray. This comes with a live Blu Ray, DVD, CD, and booklet. Filmed in 4k and transfered to 1080p. This is absolutely a stunner of a blu ray. A real looker. I would have believed it if someone said this was the 4k master with a 4k digital intermediate. Bright, vibrant colors with inky blacks.
The setlist contains some newer tracks and some old gems. The CD sounds great. I wouldnt have added the interviews mid concert due to the buzzkill if youre trying to watch a live show. The whole interview is unedited in the special features.
I love this collection!! Highly recommended. Great show with a ton of energy and passion.

I like this edition. Cool artwork. The blu ray transfer is decent. Definitely the best way to view this film, but it wont be demo worthy. I love this classic. Billy Zane's best work.

I wont knock this because my pre order showed up several days after promised. I could have just gone down the street to best buy and grabbed it on release day. No biggie with that whole pandemic thing going on. I'll let an extra 3 to 4 days slide, but I learned my lesson. If i want a disc to feature on release day, I'll just grab it from the store myself.
The movie is a real looker on 4k. Details galore here. I would not say that it is Dunkirk/The Shallows level of picture quality, but it definitely comes close. The HDR doesnt do a whole lot for the feature, which is mainly due to the color palette, but there are some chapters that will really pop more than others. The audio on this disc is a beast and can be used to show off your display and hopefully drop a few panties here and there.
This triple feature contains all three entries in the 'Cornetto Trilogy.' In Shaun of the Dead, a slacker and his best friend find themselves in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. In Hot Fuzz, a talented big-city cop transferred to a small town discovers that his new workplace holds a sinister secret. In The World's End, five old friends attempting to take on the ultimate pub crawl unknowingly become humanity's last hope for survival.

Scored this triple feature pack on the way out. All 3 films have a 2k Digital Intermediate. Steady grain throughout each film. They all are on par with each other as far as 4k transfer goes. There wasnt one that was a major standout as far as picture quality goes. These arent demo worthy upgrades, but for the price of the triple feature, it made it worth the upgrade. You've got red on you.

Great film. Audio is wonderful. The begining really pops! Turn it up to 11 and have some fun. The blu ray transfer is a decent step up. There are a lot of dark scenes, so its not going to wow you with bright and vibrant colors. Its not that type of flick, but the scenery we get of the city and interior shots are clean and crisp.

I got this from the bargain bin. My girl loves the 1st one and has never seen the sequel. I wanted to buy it to see how it would look on my Sony 900f. Since there is no 4k, I grabbed the bargain bin copy. Some outdoor ocean scenes looked really nice. It was almost a really good transfer, but there are several soft scenes. Although some shots look beautiful, i question how much work was put into it. P.s. So, after Jason Patrick's first few lines of the movie, my girl says "I'm sorry, babe. I can't. I can't. I just can't do it". Then she stood up and walked to the bedroom.

Good TV for the price
ByChuck
I couldn't find any professional reviews on this TV at the time of purchase so I had to go by what you get for the price and looking at it in person. This really is a lot of bang for the buck given certain circumstances.
Pros: 65" 4k, HDR with Dolby vision, Android TV with Chromecast built in, good black levels and black uniformity, ARC support and 3 HDMI ports all for under 500 dollars. Good overall picture especially with 4k hdr or 1080p source. (Using Apple TV 4k set to Dolby vision 4k)
Mid: Mediocre grey uniformity with some corner darkening as well as along the sides, viewing angles are about mid range.
Mid to low: glares aren't handled well for a bright room as the TV brightness isn't very high. I found no controls for motion settings, also picture settings for brightness and contrast make too large of jumps for moving one click either direction quickly washing out colors. More fine tuning would be nice but you can still get a good picture with it.
Best used for a bedroom, or watching movies at night or if your looking for a decent mid-range picture for a low end price.
I did not test the sound since I have a sound bar setup but audio support for surround and sound bars is good through both HDMI and optical. My LG SH5B soundbar fit right underneath perfectly.
Side note, I almost didn't find the stands stuck on the top side of the styrofoam and they are a little on the flimsy side. If you are going to use them make sure kids or dogs stay away from the TV, otherwise wall mount it.

Thank you

Im looking at this panel to wall mount in the bedroom. I cant find many professional reviews on this display either. I was looking at H8G, but then came across the 65 for this price. Thanks again for the in-depth review. Sounds good enough for a bedroom tv.
