Definitely the best transfer we will get of the film. Much better than other 4k transfers of films that came out at the same time. Very good quality. I wouldn't necessarily make it a "go-to demo", but very impressive.

I was really excited to screen this and see how much this popped in 4k. For the most part, its a beautiful upscale. Unfortunately, it just missed the mark of being truly amazing because there were many scenes in the film that were soft and it was noticeable. Regardless of that, there is a lot of good to come out of this. Many gorgeous scenes and the audio is top notch. If you have a great sound system, this is a must own.

Now this is demo worthy! Plenty of 35mm films that were made around the same time have had a decent 4k upgrade, but this feature can really show how an upgrade can look when putting the right amount of work into it. This looked great. The snow and gotham city looked great. Cat woman was more stunning than ever. Beautiful disc here. I am very glad i decided to add this to the collection.

Brief review of the 4k transfer for each film

Its a pretty cool set with some cool mini posters of each film. The discs don't all stay locked in their trays though, so be careful opening.
Predator 1 has a decent upscale 4k transfer. Some of the jungle scenes and natural effect (fire/explosions) look brighter and more vibrant. There is still a lot of grain for this film and i wouldnt say that its really a demo worthy transfer. The weakest of the 4 features regarding video quality.
Predator 2: This is a tough disc to find. The transfer is an improvement over the 1st film. The city landscape scenes can pop. Small details on clothing and facial features have improved. This is a pretty decent upgrade, but it still is nothing demo worthy.
Predator 3: The movies are getting newer and cleaning up a lot. I wouldnt say this is a night and day difference over the 1080p, but the best scene was in the end during the final battle with the predator. That looked great! I would demo that whole ending.
Predator 4: The best looking of all of the films. I have not watched the blu ray yet, so I cannot say for sure how much it is an improvement. This is a clean and crisp picture here. It all just depends if you want to sit through it.
Overall, I am very happy owning this set and it was a nice price for the 4 films. This is one of the only ways to get Predator 2 in 4k, which is a big reason why I decided on this collection. I enjoy and appreciate the 4k transfers of the first two films, but I didnt love the transfers. 3 and 4 both looks pretty good.

Very good 4k transfer and audio

Of course this is a great film with a huge cast, but how is the 4k transfer? Its very good! Improvements on the standard blu ray with more clarity and the HDR pops. The audio on this copy will have you ducking for cover. Filmed in 35mm, so there will be grain and there can be some soft scenes, regardless this is a quality 4k disc and it has been well reviewed from many people.

A good 4k transfer

Filmed in 35mm, 8mm, and digital. The 4k transfer is crisp and clear, but it wont be one you would use to demo the display. The best looking scenes are driving through Hollywood blvd and the flame thrower scene is gorgeous. There are some fun extras added here as well. You can get away with buying the Blu Ray copy and save a few bucks if you dont need to own it on 4k.

This is a slight upgrade from the blu ray. This isnt a disc that you'll use to showcase your 4k display, but it does the film justice. This should be recommended for fans of the film since this is the best quality that you'll get for the feature.

I couldn't find any professional reviews on this TV at the time of purchase so I had to go by what you get for the price and looking at it in person. This really is a lot of bang for the buck given certain circumstances.
Pros: 65" 4k, HDR with Dolby vision, Android TV with Chromecast built in, good black levels and black uniformity, ARC support and 3 HDMI ports all for under 500 dollars. Good overall picture especially with 4k hdr or 1080p source. (Using Apple TV 4k set to Dolby vision 4k)
Mid: Mediocre grey uniformity with some corner darkening as well as along the sides, viewing angles are about mid range.
Mid to low: glares aren't handled well for a bright room as the TV brightness isn't very high. I found no controls for motion settings, also picture settings for brightness and contrast make too large of jumps for moving one click either direction quickly washing out colors. More fine tuning would be nice but you can still get a good picture with it.
Best used for a bedroom, or watching movies at night or if your looking for a decent mid-range picture for a low end price.
I did not test the sound since I have a sound bar setup but audio support for surround and sound bars is good through both HDMI and optical. My LG SH5B soundbar fit right underneath perfectly.
Side note, I almost didn't find the stands stuck on the top side of the styrofoam and they are a little on the flimsy side. If you are going to use them make sure kids or dogs stay away from the TV, otherwise wall mount it.

Im looking at this panel to wall mount in the bedroom. I cant find many professional reviews on this display either. I was looking at H8G, but then came across the 65 for this price.

I really was amazed with the TV, because it was able to hook you to my surround. The TV had bluetooth on it so it could hook up to the surround. The picture has great quality. I really cant speak on the sound. Becauae my surround is hook up to it. But overall I love it
