High quality hoses

Our old washer had stainless hoses, so I thought I might save a few bucks by reusing them. However, I decided to get the new hoses just in case and I am glad I did. The old ones were actually pretty-well worn out, so having the high quality replacement on hand was a good thing. Sure don't want a weak hose to leak unexpectedly.

My wife really likes this washer. We needed units (washer and dryer) that are no more than 27 inches wide each and this was the best of the bunch in this price range meeting that requirement. Not having a big agitator in the way is her favorite feature. The tub is pretty deep which provides for big loads. However, she is only 5' 1" tall requiring her to stand on her tippy-toes to reach items in the very bottom at times.

Does this unit up-convert non ATMOS signals so it can utilize all the speakers and simulate ATMOS??
Yes, the Vizio Atmos units offer a simulated Atmos function that is actually quite good, excellent in fact. You can control that with the Height Speaker adjustment on the remote or from the App. You can choose those speakers to be either On, Off or Virtual. You would use the On mode when Dolby Atmos is available from the source. The Off mode cuts off the Height speakers completely, which I rarely use, but a "nice to have" function I suppose. The Virtual mode does a great job of emulating the effects offered with Atmos. In fact, depending on the source, Virtual can actually rival true Atmos. I use Virtual all the time and it is particularly effective when the source is in a 5.1 format. Even TV shows sound great with Virtual, but put in an HD BluRay like Saving Private Ryan and you will be ducking from the bullets flying overhead!
