Visually Stunning War Movie

I did not see this film in the theatre. This 4K Blu-Ray was my first viewing of it and I was not disappointed. The movie has a very British tone to it, as well it should. However, the story-line is universal and I enjoyed the film. I probably won't watch it over and over, but I will most certainly give it at least one more viewing in the not too distant future as there is a lot to take in with this one.

T2 is a pretty good action/sci-fi film, especially given its production time-frame. The remastering was really good and that makes it an even better bit of home entertainment. There are few things I find annoying in the story-line, but overall I enjoyed my re-watch of the film in 4K.

Best Images Ever

So glad that Air Force One was released in 4K. This has always been a very good movie, with plenty of action and intrigue. In this 4K version, the viewer will see the film in its best light ever. Don't expect the movie to look like it was originally shot in UHD, but the images are still way better than any prior release that I have seen.

Better the First Time

I saw this film at a theater when it was first released. I thought that it was an entertaining and fun experience aided by a good batch of highly buttered popcorn from the concession stand. I have seen bits of it a few times since, and each time it became harder to keep my interest as the film meanders around just a bit too much for my liking.
The Blu-ray version did make up for some of the movies' failings by allowing the viewer the chance to see a lot of content not visible in other formats. In the end, it's not a bad film, just not as funny as I had remembered it.

Decent Movie Now on Blu-Ray

By now, probably most people have seen this film in one venue or another, so I won't elaborate on the content too much here. The film itself was pretty popular in its time at the theaters, which earned it years of showings on TV. In the end, to me it is an OK "feel-good flick" but its pretty campy and predictable...Certainly not in the league of Crystal's When Harry Met Sally.
The Blu-ray version is the best viewing experience yet and I enjoyed seeing things that I never did before. Thus, an extra star from me for what would otherwise be a C+ to B- film.

Yes, Brooks' irreverent style is in full stride in this one, so be ready for a few belly laughs and a few reactive groans along the way too. In spite of its flaws, I was still hoping for a History of the World, Part 2, but it never came to pass. The Blu-ray transfer was good and that made my viewing of this Brooks classic even better than ever.

Great All in One

I had always been a big fan of HP printers, but after two separate 8610's would not work well with Windows 10, I decided to give this Epson a chance. On top of that, it was on sale for nearly 1/2 price! So far, we are glad we made the switch.
It immediately connected to our router upon set-up and everything after that was a breeze. No problem with Windows 10 or 7 for that matter. Quick response to scan and print wirelessly. Small footprint on the work counter. Multiple cartridges that allow printing even if one is low. Relatively fast printing with decent color detail. For our home based business it works just fine.
All in all, it was a good purchase and the next day it was back to full price. Winner!

Does this unit up-convert non ATMOS signals so it can utilize all the speakers and simulate ATMOS??
Yes, the Vizio Atmos units offer a simulated Atmos function that is actually quite good, excellent in fact. You can control that with the Height Speaker adjustment on the remote or from the App. You can choose those speakers to be either On, Off or Virtual. You would use the On mode when Dolby Atmos is available from the source. The Off mode cuts off the Height speakers completely, which I rarely use, but a "nice to have" function I suppose. The Virtual mode does a great job of emulating the effects offered with Atmos. In fact, depending on the source, Virtual can actually rival true Atmos. I use Virtual all the time and it is particularly effective when the source is in a 5.1 format. Even TV shows sound great with Virtual, but put in an HD BluRay like Saving Private Ryan and you will be ducking from the bullets flying overhead!
