My 6 year old received this for her birthday. She was really excited to redesign some of her dolls and the blanks that were included with the kit. We live where it's warm all the time so we played with this outside so I didn't have to worry about glitter all over the house. The globe does a good job of dispersing the glitter and flocking but it's not perfect, we ended up dipping the dolls to get them fully covered for the parts it missed.

My six year old really wanted a Kirby plush for Christmas. Now this is bigger than what I think she wanted but she absolutely loves it. She leans on Kirby while watching TV or lays on it while playing on her tablet. It's very squishable and cuddly - along the same lines as Squishmallows but the fill is denser. We picked this up in store and out of four plush on the shelf, three of them had dust/dirt on them (one looked like a partial footprint). It would be nice if they were stocked in clear bags or something to keep them clean.

This gift was a hit with my 8 1/2 year old. He always likes playing the family Switch in handheld mode, so we decided to get him a Lite for Christmas. Migrating his favorite games and data over was easy.
Games that have narrow fonts or teeny tiny text can be little difficult to read on the smaller Lite screen. Vast adventure games like Breath of the Wild don't seem as epic but are still completely playable on a Lite.

I absolutely adored Wandersong. It's a beautiful game with a beautiful story - one that can elicit an emotional response from the player. It's a music based game, but not entirely a rhythm game making it friendly towards a broad spectrum of players.
Tip: for all the feels, exhaust all dialogue options with the other main character towards the end of the game.

Ok Horror VN, Frustrating Execution

The story was great - horror visual novel with a supernatural and spiritual undertone. The execution was frustrating. To survive the end of the chapter, you have to pass a series of multiple choice questions and you have HP in the form of Spirit Power to aid you. The problem is sometimes failing the questions only take a bit of your HP, sometimes it takes it all. Then there's the problem where some answers to these questions are seemingly NO WHERE in the game. Not in the file you collect, not in information given by other characters, etc. So there were periods where I was just failing the multiple choice questions over and over and just brute forcing my way through. After a failure you would go to the beginning of a sequence and have to repeat it all again, s-l-o-w-l-y scrolling through the text. About halfway through the game I realized you could hold down the L trigger and text would fly off the screen.
