OK, no Star Wars film is EVER going to blow you away like the first one you saw in a theater as a kid. And no Star Wars film is EVER going to please every super hard-core fan. However, if you have pleasant memories of the original trilogy, this takes that story line further, a generation later. Since it's the middle of its own trilogy, it kind of leaves you hanging a bit (as middle films in trilogies always do) but it's still pretty good.

I didn't buy this for myself; I bought it as a gift to friends for their bedroom TV, whose sound they found pretty bad (and I agreed). While no replacement for a dedicated home theater sound system (which would be ridiculous at this price), it was definitely a step up from their TV speakers. I didn't actually buy this; I bought it on behalf of a friend to give to her husband for Christmas and didn't want him to see it on the credit card bill. Still, I helped him install it and he seems to be happy enough with it and far prefers it over the sound quality of his TV's built-in speakers. It won't touch a full-blown surround-sound system with decent speakers and a decent audio/video receiver or anything, but at this price, what do you expect? Miracles. It's a step up from TV speakers and that's all you can hope for.

Yeah, this film had a troubled production history and is a bit inconsistent. Is it great? No. Is it fun? Yes. I liked the characters but I think the movie tried to show every incident ever mentioned as being in Han Solo's past and that bogs it down a bit. Still, I enjoyed the actors who played both Han Solo and Lando Calrissian. For most people who don't collect ALL Star Wars movies, I might recommend this as a rental though.

Works but a little inconsistent

Deciding to cut the cable, I bought three of these from BB in about a 2-week period and hooked them up to 3 different TVs in my house. They all were easy to set up and they seem to work just fine. However, they all act just a little differently from each other. On one, I absolutely cannot get NetFlix to save in my "favorites" list of apps, though I managed just fine on the other two. On another, my search results for the "Weather Live" app returns zero results even though I found it and installed it on the other two. It's also a bit frustrating to me that both the Fire TV Sticks and the Rokus each have "exclusive" apps. One neighbor can't use a Fire Stick as they don't have the Comcast cable TV app, and has to use Roku. Another can't use Roku as they don't have the Dish Anywhere app and has to use a Fire Stick. I do wish the remotes had numeric keypads to allow jumping to a particular channel on some streaming services (like the above mentioned Comcast and Dish apps). And I wish you could turn them off as they seem to get hot and stay hot. However, you can't beat them for the price, particularly when they go on sale for under $30.

I know that Best Buy was selling this for two different prices; one with activation in the store (the lower price) and one unlocked for activation by whatever phone store the customer took it to. Since I was replacing and old phone on an existing contract, I wasn't going to be activating it in the store and ended up going for the higher priced option. That price was still better than what I would have paid at my phone store (Verizon). Your mileage may vary.

Can you manually updated the checking and investment accounts and not use the automatic updates?
You can manually enter pretty much anything you want into any of the accounts. When I write checks, for example, I enter them manually. When I later download the information for my checking account from the bank, Quicken automatically reconciles which of those sent checks have been cashed. That assumes that your description of the individual payment matches the banks description closely enough. Sometimes, they don't quite match and you end up having to delete your manually-entered record.

I had contractors from Best Buy install it because since I've retired, I've become rather lazy about doing chores like that. However, they installed it in a manner of minutes using the trim kit that had been from our previous Whirlpool microwave oven. I am unfamiliar with the "Whirlpool Gold Convection Microwave" in specific but suspect the trim kits might be similar.

Further inquiry to Bonnies question ( and subsequent answer) about cookie sheets. Are you recommending we not bake cookies in the convection feature of the oven?
You can certainly try baking cookies or anything else. However, given the design of the oven where all the heat is coming in from a vent on the left side rather than evenly distributed above and/or below as in a conventional oven, I suspect that you might find cookies on the left side of the sheet might be rather more well done than those on the right side.

will this work with 5ohm speakers ?
Possibly not. The manual describes how to set the speaker impedance setting to either 8-ohm or 6-ohm, no mention of other settings for 4-ohm, 5-ohm or other. You might want to write Yamaha directly to see if setting it to 6-ohm would be "close enough" for your 5-ohm speakers.

There's a little icon with 3 horizontal stripes (which I've heard called the "hamburger" icon) to the left of the painted controls. Press that and an expanded backlit menu comes up. Using this, you can set the cooking time, press a menu option, then select the cooking power level (from 10% to 90% with the default being 100%) and then press the Start icon. You also have to use this "hamburger" icon to bring up the menu options to use the oven in convection oven mode instead of the default microwave oven mode (the two modes are separate and can't be used at the same time).

Does this unit allow you to play different music in each zone? For example: can I watch a movie in the main zone and play music via an airplay 2 device (iPhone).
Page 44 of the manual talks about sliding the Zone A/Zone B switch to Zone B, then selecting an input. Keep in mind that you cannot drive both a 5.1 channel system in Zone A in combination with a 2.0 channel system in Zone B. Using Zone B means sacrificing the surround channels from Zone A. This isn't spelled out explicitly in the manual; you have to glean it from zooming in on the diagram of the rear of the receiver on page 14.

Can this receiver work with component audio and video cable? I have an older projection television as well as an older dvd player.
This A/V receiver does NOT have component (YPbPr) video inputs. Video can only be input via higher-quality HDMI input or lower-quality composite video input. Most all newer video devices (cable boxes, satellite boxes, Blu-ray players, UHD players, media players, etc.) use only HDMI these days. Some really old devices (Wii game consoles, VCRs, etc.) use composite video and some older DVD players use composite video.
