I previously had a 55" LG OLED I was very happy with, and have only found the same satisfaction with this larger model. Incredible rightness and contrast capabilities with black levels that go to actual black, and while the glossy screen troubled me before purchase, in my living room, I don't even notice reflections when the screen is on. Settings are maybe a little harder to navigate then the 2020 model I worked with before, but the essentials are within easy reach.

A whirlwind tour of the life and challenges of a conflicted genius navigating complicated decisions in the making of a century-defining scientific achievement and its fallout (pun intended) for himself and the world. Some of Christopher Nolan's finest, most intense work to date, particularly whenever it launches the viewer face-first into Cillian Murphy's haunting inner turmoil.

Whether one liked or loathed Crystal Skull, THE DIAL OF DESTINY delivers a sendoff worthy of the Indiana Jones name and legacy, from its bombastic WWII flashback opener (featuring a very convincing de-aged Harrison Ford only occasionally undone by the uncanny valley) to its bonkers, reality-bending climax. James Mangold faithfully channels the Spielberg spirit with a fistful of thrilling chases, witty shouting matches between Ford and his cohorts, and its focus on a past-his-prime father figure reflecting on his regrets and his place in a world passing him by. As finales go, nothing will beat the sight of Jones Sr. and Jr. riding off triumphantly into the sunset, but this still upholds the fine tradition of the best Indy movies featuring two things: Sallah, and N*zis getting wrecked.

Despite a by-the-numbers origin story and stock villains, BLUE BEETLE sets itself apart with a love of Latino culture so thick you can taste the Tajin, a very charismatic lead in Xolo Maridueña, and a family dynamic right on par with Shazam's best moments. Bolder cinematography than Fury of the Gods, less distracting CG than The Flash, a nicely intense score reminiscent of Black Adam, *infinitely* funnier than The Suicide Squad - especially where Uncle Rudy and Nana are involved (VIVA NANA!) - and even a few certified "Snyder is the blueprint" moments. For a movie originally intended for straight-to-streaming, it only occasionally looks it, and for once every penny of the relatively smaller budget (so far as you can say that of $120 million) looks it's on the screen.

EVIL DEAD RISE keeps the whacked-out deadite spirit alive with a "terror of parenthood" themed splatterfest that aims (and often reaches) the 2013 film's levels of creepy crawly gore-sanity, peppered with some requisite homages to Raimi's originals. By all means, keep doing with this series what Prey potentially sets up for the Predator movies - new casts and locales each time, with that same horrible flesh-bound book as the only tie between them.

It's absolutely unreal what a work of art ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE is. What the previous film did to change the game for CG animation, this film has done for its own predecessor, rendering insane new worlds and characters with distinct, eye-popping splendor. But beneath the shiny veneer and all the sight gags, easter eggs, and meta humor that made ITSV such a joy is a startlingly dramatic tale about choice & consequence, with a cliffhanger setting up BEYOND THE SPIDER-VERSE to be THE superhero event of year it releases. And yes, Hobie IS awesome. Long live Hobie.

After the production ran in circles for the better part of a decade, THE FLASH is finally here and it's... really good. A sometimes Looney Tunes-ish mashup of Back to the Future with Last Action Hero and a dash of Sliders, wrapped in a tangled web of electrical arcs. True to what's been passed around social media, the visual effects take some gigantic swings - most work exactly as much as they need to, and the ones that don't are fleeting enough that only someone actively looking to be bothered will be. As the apparent swan-song for Zack Snyder's DC Universe (barring whatever Aquaman 2 has to offer), THE FLASH is highly entertaining, and regardless the discourse, it's neither an act of erasure nor is it anything remotely resembling the studio hackjob of Josstice League.

The latter half of the Fast & Furious series up to now has basically become American Bollywood - seriously, watch a couple movies like Baahubali and RRR, and F&F's transition from Point Break with street racing to heist adventures to Anime Mission: Impossible will make so much more sense - and finally in Jason Momoa it has a villain to match the middle-finger-to-physics craziness. Whatever giant blowout finale they're planning with all the returning players - and I bet some big surprises are still in store - I'm in. Ride or die.

From its startlingly somber cold-open and title sequence, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 promises a very different entry for this merry band of a-holes and the MCU as a whole, and boy, does James Gunn deliver while yanking those heartstrings harder than ever. Between the characteristic needle-drops and jokes (some of which land better than others), a few half-baked elements *cough*Adam Warlock*cough*, and some gnarly locales and set pieces is way heavier material than the megafranchise has dared touch upon before, from its overall theme of facing and coming to terms with trauma, to a vicious indictment of animal cruelty/eugenics at the hands of an incredibly charismatic and intensely despicable villain.

I have an older LG OLED television that has permanently burnt-in [ad] icon on the screen due to Hulu's yellow disclaimer. I want to ensure that this model isn't subject to the same problem as the older TV.
It's my understanding the risk of burn-in is still present, but running Pixel Refresh on a regular basis can help prevent it (google for a recommended schedule based on your usage).
Vinyl audio has authenticity that digital can~t compete with, but you can~t argue with the convenience of modern wireless speakers either. Its adjustable counterweight and magnet cartridge provide reliable tracking and a rich sound that help you lose yourself in the music. Connect a Bluetooth speaker wirelessly to make your music portable, or plug in your tried-and-true wired speakers with one simple connection. After your record is done playing, the turntable will turn off automatically and the detachable cover shields your turntable when it~s not in use. Music holds a lot of memories, and it can also create new ones. Make them count with this Insignia Bluetooth turntable.
Can I pair this with my favorite blue tooth speaker?
Yes. Just place the speaker in pairing mode, then hold down the Bluetooth button on the turntable until it starts flashing blue and red. It should be paired when it turns solid blue, and you should hear something from the speaker.
