Great solution vs just WiFi

Personally, I don't trust an all WiFi setup, especially working from home and hard wires are actually required for the work computers for my wife and I. The AT&T router access point is so stupidly placed that running wires directly from the router itself is an impossibility. That's where powerline adapters come in. The Ethernet connection is much more consistent than WiFi signals and don't suffer signal loss/dropoffs like WiFi is known to do from time to time.
The only issue I have with this set is that I bought two of these pairs. For some reason, I cannot get the fourth one to even function regardless of which unit I try; only three total work. I cannot find any solution online for this issue.

I needed to hard-wire a laser printer to the computer but the room setup didn't allow for a direct connection since the original USB cord wasn't long enough. This fit the bill and I have a lot of slack left.

This works as a stopgap solution. Only seems to work on the 2.4 Ghz band and not 5 Ghz; this is not an issue if you have plenty of space between your neighbors but if not, your speed is going to be bogged down due to overlap such as an apartment complex.

Yes. You need to be connected to the internet first in order to "route" the information through the router, i.e., you should have your DSL or cable modem working before setting this up.

Microsoft officially stopped doing this a couple of years ago as you know, but unofficially they're still supporting it. This article (dated June 2019) will show you how to do it.

This is correct. Any combination of power pins can be used for a GPU, as long as the GPU doesn't exceed what the supply can provide. That said, I would recommend having at least 100 watts more in a power supply than you actually need as it's always a good idea to have some headroom.
