Compact, well-built, lightweight, grab and go speaker. This speaker is no bigger than a 16 Oz water bottle and is a perfect travel companion, if you chose to take it out on trips. It's a Gen 3 (successor to Revolve II) Soundlink Resolve series speaker with 16+ hours battery (Li Ion) life. This is in same price range as most branded speakers that you tend to compare before making a purchase, but this is a clear winner if you are looking for sound quality, portability, ruggedness and durability for outdoor use. Can be charged via micro USB port or with a charging cradle that doesn’t come with the product. Connection was a breeze with the Bose app and took less than a minute to pair and get it going. It supports Siri and Google assistant.

Great portable speaker with crisp sound with 360 degree sound delivery. Of course, Bose never disappoints you on the sound quality. Great volume, room filling sound with the design 360 that allows sound to travel in all directions.
Built in Mic came in handy to answer calls, when connected via Bluetooth, and didn't hear any complaints on the sound voice quality when using the mic and speaker outdoors (patio). Didn't have any Bluetooth drop out issues while walking around my house with phone in my pocket.

Logitech Ergo M575 is an upgrade to the M570, with a better battery life, upto a year, and with a bluetooth connectivity option - connect directly to your device or via the USB receiver. I primarily use this mouse on my travel as its handy to browse without having to move your mouse while working on small desks. It took a little bit to get used to the trackball to accurately control the cursor and you would love it once you master it. I like it more for it ergonomics - sculpted well to fit you palm and reduces the strain on your hand when using it for extended hours. The two additional customizable buttons are handy and the trackball pops out for easy cleaning. No complaints on this mouse so far and I love it!

I am comparing my experience with 4 different brands of sound bars that I currently own. The ones that I own are in price range between $400- $800. Polk MagniFi2 has lot more features compared to the one's that I have, which were released in 2018 - 2020. MagniFi2 one has a small footprint and delivers the same sound experience as the bigger ones that I own. I am not new to Polk as I do own their floor standing speakers in my home theatre room and can attest to their quality.
If you are looking for a high performance branded sound bar with a low price tag, Polk MagniFi2 is the right choice. This soundbar delivers 200W power (peak power) and gives you the home theatre experience for small to mid-size rooms without compromising on the quality of sound. The wireless subwoofer performance is on par with the ones in the market that are in the same price range. I rate it 5/5 in terms of value to price given the features it offers and the number of inputs on this sound bar
Physical appearance and installation (5/5): Small foot print, low profile, wall mountable with just one HDMI cable plugged into the TV and set-up was a breeze, just took me 5 mins to link-up all my devices and configure the inbuilt Chromecast. The soundbar has a low profile and doesn't obstruct the view if you decide to place it in front of your TV. It detected the wireless sub-woofer automatically at power up and I didn't have to worry about linking them manually. I didn't have any issues configuring the inbuilt Chromecast on my google app and I was able to stream music from youtube, pandora, and amazon music right away.
Inputs (6/5): Not many soundbars offers that many inputs as offered by this sound bar. It has 3 HDMI inputs (4k compatible) with an additional TV (ARC) input along with TV optical input and a bluetooth option. I always struggled to have all my devices (Gaming, media, Blu-ray players, etc.) connected to my TV/AV receiver and Polk solved this problem with 3 HDMI inputs. I now have those devices routed through the Polk sound bar in my living room. The remote is pretty handy and has lot more options -you can adjust bass, voice, mode (movie/music/sport/night), switch HDMI inputs, etc. These functions are typically available on AV receivers buts it's good to see these functions on a sound bar, for those who want the same experience as a home theatre but want to avoid the bulky receivers and speakers. I also have the remote programmed to control my TV power as well.
Audio (5/5): Polk boosts about its patented SDA (Stereo Dimensional Array), which is somewhat similar to the 5.1 surround system. I played the Dark Knight and Avatar 3D movie and did notice the 3D surround sound effect . I found their Voice Adjust function pretty interesting, it's like dialogue enhancer - lowers the background music volume and similar the night mode function on my AV receiver. The subwoofer packs a punch and I was amazed on its bass output given its small footprint. I did notice the voice was a little muffled when I turned on the volume and bass to max levels, but again this not an ideal setting for the living room.
Overall (5/5) the soundbar offers high quality audio for a small price tag. I am impressed by the amount of bass this little sound bar delivers and definitely would recommend this soundbar for people looking for a budget soundbar without compromising on sound quality.

Yamaha released their newest line of headphones in Nov 2020 - Over-ear and On-ear headphones. E700A is their over-ear wireless headphones and this is my first experience with Yamaha headphones. I own seven different brands of headphones in the price range $300 to $1000 and comparing the E700A experience with those. Personally, I prefer over-ear headphones as they seal your ear, better than on-ear headphones, from external noise to provide you with an immersive experience.
Quality: These are well-built headphones, designed to last with no cheap plastic parts. It's a little heavier than the ones I currently own. It has pretty good padding on the metal headband. The hardcase for the headphones is well built to protect the headphones from accidental drops. These headphones are built to last so I rate it 5/5 on quality.
Comfort: One thing I noticed on this headphones is that they are very comfortable to wear for hours. They don't exert pressure or squeeze your head, which is a common problem with some headphones and it gets uncomfortable after few hours of use. It has large (larger than the ones I own) foamed leather ear cups and offer an excellent seal from external noise. I rate it 5/5 on comfort
Features: All the controls buttons/switches are at the bottom of the ear cups. It has 3 controls on one ear cup for volume, play/pause, and power button with USB C port for charging. It has the ANC button and aux port for wired option on the other ear cup. It comes with airplane connector and wired aux cable as alternate option for airplane use. Its one's personal choice on what you prefer, ear cups controls or little buttons at the bottom. It also has a USB A to USB C convertor and a 3.4 mini stereo connector. Bluetooth (5) pairing was easy and it has pretty good range and I didn't have any connectivity/streaming issues walking around the house. I used it for 8 hrs so far and feel pretty good about the battery life, one charge should last about 35 hrs play time, with 3.5 hr charge time, based on their ad. The Yamaha App is pretty simple, just has few functions that you can turn on/off - listening care, listening optimizer, and noise cancellation. I generally like having the equalizer option on the app, so I can adjust the settings for different experience such as gaming, movie, music, etc., but not a deal breaker as it has its own patented technology. It support siri/google assistant and voice assisted prompts.
What's different on this headphones ? Every company has some unique functions/features and patented technology on how they optimize the sound, what technique they use for ANC , to allow ambient sound, etc., and Yamaha E700A has its own.
Listening Optimizer: I was a little intrigued by their "listening optimizer" feature and had to read up a little to understand what exactly it does. Its internal headphones makes constant measurements of sound to analyze and process the information to check the ear cup fit/seal and air leakage to constantly optimize/customize the sound to individual listener's perceiving capability - AI can do that! I definitely see this being an interesting feature as the ear cups lose their sealing capability with use, and this technology compensates for the loss. Also, this feature can dynamically maintain the sound fidelity when using outdoors. This could end up being my traveling companion, if it truly performs as described!
Advanced Active Noise Cancellation: Yamaha has its own technology for ANC. I didn't get a chance to test the headphone's outdoor noise cancellation capability, which I usually do when I take the subway and plane rides. Yamaha brags about their "Advanced ANC" feature and what does it differently from other ANC technologies - it uses internal microphones and unique algorithms (AI?) to suppress (erases!) the surrounding noise and not have to process (alter) the music signal - pretty intriguing. So far I rate it to be in the top three, based on its advanced ANC and the tests I did at home by playing simulated background noise on my home speakers.
Listening Care: This is an interesting feature for low volume listening, as low volume usually cuts out certain frequencies and this feature intelligently adjusts sound frequencies to maintain full range sound.
As an audiophile I have to rate it on the standards and the frequency range that I usually look for in speakers and headphones

Gamers would love the true immersive experience this headphones offers, no second thoughts on that!

This is an amazing full size keyboard (compared to surface pro keyboard) for surface pro 4/5/6/7 models. Its rugged, well-built and transformed my surface pro 6 into a versatile laptop. I had it for a week on my surface pro 6 and am happy with its functionality so far. The small plastic piece holding the kick stand hinge on one side of surface pro broke off and it costs about $400 dollars to get that replaced. The Brydge wireless keyboad was a perfect fix (and a life saver!) to the broken hinge on my kick stand and I never have to worry about using the kick stand again. Set-up was a breeze, the touch pad on the keyboard is very responsive and has the multi gesture control similar to the original keyboard. This brydge keyboard made my surface pro a little heavy but I didn't mind the weight as now I can now rest it on my lap and work during my travel. The key board has all the functions as the surface pro keyboard, so I didn't feel like I was missing the original key board and one charge lasts about 6 months. It’s a backlit keyboard with 3 levels of brightness and I had no problem using it in the dark. It taunts about having bezel that has active antimicrobial ingredient that inhibits the growth of microorganisms, which is good to know, not that I have had issues with bacterial growing on my keyboard or PC in the past. I had the iPad Brydge keyboard for years and never had any issue with it and I can attest to the quality products that they make.

This is a toaster oven and an air fryer combo with a large capacity that can easily cook for 2-3 people in one cooking and can easily fit a 12 inch pizza. Came with an Air Fryer basket, baking pan, and a rack. I like the LCD display with dials to set mode and time/temperature. It heats up pretty fast and takes less time to reach the set temperature compared to usual kitchen oven. I used the air fryer mode and it did a pretty good job on chicken fingers - loaded up the basket with 1 pound of frozen chicken fingers and it only took 28 mins to turn them into crispy golden brown chicken fingers. I also used the air fryer mode for frying hash brown, fry's, biscuits, tarts, mozzarella sticks, breaded chicken wings so far and can tell its lot faster than my XL air fryer or the Kitchen Oven. This is definitely an health option to deep frying food and saves on utility bill for smaller cooking portions compared to kitchen oven. I like the toast mode, made the bread crispy with evenly browning the bread and I stopped using my toaster for good. Took about 25 mins to bake a 12 inch pizza.
So far am happy with this toaster oven for cooking small portions and not have to worry about using my kitchen oven or air fryer anymore. Worth the investment if you are conscious about healthy cooking choices and saves on utility bill

This is one of the new product that Arlo came out with. I already own a indoor 2 camera hub system that is couple years old and upgraded my outdoor security camera's with this wireless Arlo Ultra 2 4k camera's. The new hub automatically detected the old Arlo camera and I didn't had to bother about adding/migrating those to my new Arlo hub.
Installation - Installation was a breeze, took less than 5 mins to have them connected and configured to my new Arlo hub. The app recognized the new hub and I was able to add and configure the new camera's. The kit came with 2 camera's + 2 batteries ,fancy charger cable, the hub, a mag wall mount and a screw wall mount. I like the mag mounts as it's easy to get the cameras off the mounts to charge them.
Features and Functions - I am impressed with Arlo's feature innovation on its different generation products. I do have few other brands but nothing comes close to Arlo in terms of the camera resolution, functionality, features, etc. These camera's are amazing for outdoor use and have a spot light that turns on when it detects motion in the activity zone. Few things that I particularly like about Arlo are
• Activity Zone feature: The activity zone program is pretty straight forward on the app and you can have multiple activity zones. Haven't completely explored if I can customize notifications based on motions in different zones, i.e. activating siren if there is motion to close to the camera in my backyard, etc. The camera comes with a spot light that turns on (can be configured to stay off) if it detects motion in the activity zone and gives you an option to turn on the siren, call 911 or call a friend.
• Detection: The perception on the camera is amazing, it send notification to your phone and also records a clip, the minute it detects motion in the activity zone. The camera does distinguish between a car animal or person's movement in the activity zone. You can also customize in the app to turn off animal detection if you have to many squirrels or bunnies running in your yard ;-)
• Camera resolution: It’s a 4k camera and has an amazing resolution. I was able to zoom in, to read the tags on the shipments outside my front door. It has 180 deg field of view and covers a lot of area, so one camera is good enough for a house with big front yard. The amazing part is you can still clearly see the colors with its enhanced night vision which I didn't have in my older outdoor camera that costed me the same price.
• Mic and Speaker: It does have a mic and a speaker so you can converse with someone outside the door, did get to test the quality of mic by speaking to myself and watching it on the recording.
• Battery life: This is big differentiator from other camera's that are out in the market. Arlo's spec says 6 months battery life, and I had my front yard camera for 4 days and still has 96% charge with quite a bit of activity over the last 4 days and am guessing I will not have worry about charging the camera for atleast 4 months.
• Ecosystem integration: I haven't integrated this into my google smart home hub yet, but the manual said it is compatible with Alexa, Google Home, Apple homekit, and IFTT.
Overall I am happy with Arlo products and this is definitely a great addition to my outdoor security system as its built to withstand the extreme weather conditions. Got a 3 month trial to cloud services and might subscribe to save the recording to cloud once I start to travel on work. It only offers a 7 day cloud storage of the recorded activity but there is always the option to store the recordings on the SD card that you can plug into the hub.

Tineco vacuum's iLoop is a game changing technology and Tineco went it all-in on technology in building this hi-tech vacuum. If you love technology, you would admire this vacuum cleaner on the amount of digital information it offers. Tineco has combined the robotic floor vacuum and high end vacuums functionalities and features into this Pure S12 EX model. If you are ready to splurge on a high end vacuum that can offer powerful suction and amazing features, Tineco would be the obvious choice.

Suction power: I felt that had a higher suction power than my other name brand one when cleaning the carpets with the direct drive tangle free power brush, but definitely beats my other ones on hardwood floor cleaning when using the soft-roller power brush. I liked the fact that iloop color changed from blue to red as I cleaned giving me some indication that I need to do multiple pass to pick up all the dust from my rugs.
With a 500W powerful motor you have variable suction power at your disposal that comes in handy when cleaning your cars and trying to get into corners and crevices. I prefer to set the suction power on Auto and let the vacuum adjust the suction power in real time to clean various surfaces but did use the slider bar when cleaning my car as I wanted max power to suck dust and debris from underneath the seat and the unreached corners. I liked the fact that it came with a trigger lock (for continuous power lock) to keep the vacuum running which was very handy while I was cleaning my car and didn't had to worry about holding the trigger during cleaning, good thought Tineco!

I prefer to set the suction power on Auto and let the vacuum adjust the suction power in real time to clean various surfaces but did use the slider bar when cleaning my car as I wanted max power to suck dust and debris from underneath the seat and the unreached corners. I liked the fact that it came with a trigger lock (for continuous power lock) to keep the vacuum running which was very handy while I was cleaning my car and didn't had to worry about holding the trigger during cleaning, good thought Tineco!
Cleaning: This is on par with my other vacuums when it comes to picking up fine dust, pollen, pet dander, etc. from my carpet, upholstery, and rugs. I can compare this to my wired high end vacuum that I usually use once a month to pick up the fine dust and pollen from my carpet and upholstery. I can attribute this to the auto suction power capability as I saw iLoop change from blue to orange/red when I was deep cleaning my rugs. This gave me an indication that I need to clean my rugs more often. Also, the powerful LED lights on the two powered cleaning heads are handy when cleaning under couches and beds. I prefer this one compared to my other vacuum when cleaning hardwood as it had rubber wheels and doesn't scratch my hardwood floor.
Battery Power: It came with 2 Li-Ion batteries and I used one for about 60 minutes and still had about 25% battery left in it. Extended battery power is a must if you have to clean your entire house and the spare battery comes in handy for extended cleaning. My other stick vacuum's battery usually lasted about 45-60 mins max
Accessories: Tineco came with more accessories than any another vacuum I ever owned (have 8 in total). I am a big fan of accessories that I can attach to the stick vacuum to clean my PC, Keyboards, air vents, crevices and corners, couches, etc. Wall mount is handy, but hate to wall mount the 3 different vacuums I currently own, so I chose not to use the mount option other than to charge the battery.
Noise and Weight: This one is relatively less noisy than my other ones as I am not constantly running my vacuum on max power and this is super light compared to my Shark and weighs about the same compared to my Dyson stick vacuum.
App: The app has some good information - shows the usage history, pretty much like the robotic vacuums app features, battery life, filter maintenance, etc.
Definitely recommend trying this vacuum if you are looking for a high end stick vacuum that has better or on par features and functionality compared to name brand ones. I was a little skeptical when I saw the price tag on this vacuum but changed my opinion after comparing this vacuum against the name brand ones that I currently own. Can’t comment on the durability as I only had it for only a week.

Great speaker system for backyard parties!
Compact and light weight speaker packed with features to entertain your guests in a backyard/house karaoke (doesn't come with a mic but has an mic input) party or to test your guitar skills (has Mic/Guitar input with Guitar controls). If you owned the Sony MHC 71 you can definitely tell this is it's little cousin that comes at an affordable price tag. I haven't fully tested the DJ function and it's no match to the DJ function on my Sony MHC 71. Comes with a handy remote and Sony did step up the game on the "Fiestable" app that lights up your mobile phone to match the speaker lights to create a party atmosphere and to create your party list favorited by the participants. You can have all your friends download the app and connect to the speaker - reminded me of my dorm parties, just missed the speakers like these back then.
As an audiophile I pay close attention to the audio quality. I tested the sound quality for low and high volume -the sound is crisp and clear and didn't notice any muffled audio at high volume. "Jet Bass Booster" did boost the bass (rate it 3/5) a bit, but if you are a big bass fan you might be a little disappointed with the bass output on this little unit. It has the CD functionality which I don't think I will be using it much in this digital era and it does come with an antenna for the radio.

The box has 4 bulbs and it was a perfect addition to my home theater room. Ran into few issues trying to configure the bulbs to connect to my Wi-Fi the first time. Make sure you download the app (peace by Hampton) first, register, and be ready before you turn ON the bulbs to get them connected to the Wi-Fi. It only blinks for a min and if your phone doesn't pick it up, you will have to turn ON/OFF the switch 5 times to get it back to pairing mode. Took about 6 mins to get the 4 bulbs configured.
The app offered a full color spectrum and scene selections. It’s a 60W bulb with 800 lumens, so it was perfect for my home theater room. I prefer low light ambience for basement gatherings. The adjustable white light offered warm white to cool daylight selection and can be easily adjusted on the app. I found the scene selection interesting as it changed colors, perfect to lighten your mode while sipping wine in your backyard. Wasn’t sure if it is rated for outdoor use, but I used the floor lamp to test it in my backyard. This didn't require a hub and that helped as I already have 6 hubs connected to my router and running out of ethernet ports. I had it configure to in my google assistant so I can use voice commands to turn it ON and OFF.
Overall this is an amazing set at an affordable price and you can buy them in bulk to light up your entire house without breaking your bank. I can compare the quality with the name brands that I already own. Can't comment on the durability yet as I only had it for a week.

can i still expand storage with a sd card.
You can swap the SSD that is on the back (under the kick stand) easily, just like you swap the SIM on a cell phone.

Can you connect your Surface Pro 8 to a big monitor ?
Yes, I have it connected to two 32 inch 4k curved gaming monitors using a dock with a USB C cable running between the dock and the Pro 8 thunderbolt 4/USB C port. You can also directly connect to the monitors using a USB C/thunderbolt 4 ports on the Pro 8. Pro 8 doesn't have HDMI or USB ports.

Do the newer ARLO camera systems still have the 15-30 second lag time from motion in front of cameras and that being relayed to your handheld device or laptop. even when watching "Live"? Don't want to upgrade if lag still exists in new system.
i did see a lag probably 5-7 seconds, definitely not 15-30 sec like the first gen Arlo. It also depends on our home internet speed and cell phone wireless signal strength.

At what distance will the new ultra cameras pick up at night time?
This has quite a bit of range, you can program the "activity zones" on the app. Attached few pic from my front yard, have a big driveway and it did detect cars at the end of my driveway at night

Does this work in extreme cold temperatures? What is the minimum temperature that it will still function? The older systems did not work well in cold temperatures.
The spec says good for operating temperatures ranging from -20 degC (-4degF) to 45 degC (113 degF)

One of my Roku Tv's Wi-Fi is weak.It keeps going into loading and stops what ever is on Tv.Its the the room furthest from where the main WiFi , internet box is.Would this router make this problem go away?
Its a very powerful router and supports 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz speeds. I have 22 devices connected to this router and streamed 4k content on simultaneous devices in a 3500 sq ft home. Just make sure you have the right modem (dual-band). This has a capability to extend your wifi range with Volpo nodes (wi-fi range extenders)
