My first Vitamix has not disappointed with its power, handling everything I've thrown at it, save for a few hiccups, without any issues in runtime, engine stalling, or efficiency.
The self-clean cycle is my favorite feature. It works effectively, making me more inclined to use the blender. It may seem lazy, but cleaning a standard blade blender daily after a simple smoothie can be tedious. With this feature, a single cycle is all it takes to prepare for the next use.
The X series blenders boast single-set modes like Smoothie, Dessert, Cocktail, etc. I tested each and was mostly pleased. My black beans were perfectly blended for dips, my "mocktail" was impeccably "shaken," the ice cream was creamy without being overmixed, and the sweet potato-based soup is a keeper—all achieved with a single click, no adjustments necessary.
However, there was a minor issue with a smoothie batch where a full apple slice wasn't blended. It's a rare occurrence but worth noting for a blender of this caliber.
Apart from the modes, the powerful processing remains in manual operation. For example, I easily made oat flour from rolled oats, effortlessly pulverized in moments.
Finally, while all blenders are loud at high power, resembling a jet engine, the X4's modes 1-5 are relatively quiet, allowing for small batches to be blended without causing a disturbance.
In summary, it's aesthetically pleasing, performs excellently, and is the most versatile blender I've owned. I'm excited to see what I can come up with next!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using the Therabody RecoveryAir Pro consistently for a couple years. It’s one of the few pieces of equipment I actually recommend. With the pro, carrying around both independent boots with attached cables and control unit can be cumbersome on the move, especially when I’m using it for a pre-warmup.
The Jet Boots Prime has the advantage there. Compact and easy to store, they can be up and ready in half the time it takes to set-up the Pro. No wires or cables to connect or plug-in, just put on and turn on. In the photos, I compare the Prime with the Pro side-by-side for size comparison and portability.
When handling the Prime for the first few uses, it can be awkward since it is all one unit. The pump is attached to the right leg and the left leg is attached by a strip crossing the pelvis. So, when putting them on, I had to get used to the imbalance, but once adjusted, I was good to go.
The control panel is extremely easy to navigate. Four settings of pressure and four time limits. Pretty much all that’s necessary for warm-up/recovery. Easy to read and battery life has been excellent thus far. I did two 20-minute cycles and one 60-minute cycle and still had half a battery left.
The pressure is on par with the Pro. Often when something is touted as portable, you lose some power for the benefit of portability. Not here. Whether warming up or deep recovery, there is no shortness of pressure.
Another excellent bonus is the amount of time it takes to deflate. This was/is my biggest issue with the Pro. If you’re in a hurry, you have to half-do storing the boots as you manually have to squeeze excess air out to get the tightest roll possible. Once the Prime’s cycle is finished, I can roll them up in about a minute’s time. Very useful when I’m chomping at the bit to get back to business.
In terms of efficiency and usability. They work. They work well. Whether a brutal leg day or a good long run, after wearing theses before/after, my recovery is absolutely expedited. It is the difference between gradually loosening up in the motion to being ready to move right away. And the recovery, after a long day/ workout is like a masseuse on stand-by.
With a great balance of portability and power, I would absolutely recommend these to add to your regimen. And if you have a stationary pair (PRO), these will fill that on the go gap when traveling or needing to get done and packed up faster. Great addition.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great, responsive dash cam with loads of features once you get it all working.
Since there are so few, I will start with the negatives. First, there is no battery. In the past cams I have owned, having a few seconds after powering down has been useful. I plan to hardwire the camera to the battery to somewhat accommodate that need, but it would be useful to have a battery in the event I forget the charger, etc. Second, the "buttons" take getting used to vs "feeling" like it should be a touch screen, but that will fade with time.
Now, the great.
Crystal clear video on both cameras. I can see it all. License plates, signs, etc. Video can be easily uploaded if needed through app.
Once connected to a hotspot (I tether from my phone) you get all the extra bells and whistles from the surrounding areas. Speed traps, red light cameras, and other bonuses that sync with the app. T
The app is very responsive, intuitive and is a great companion to the camera. Gallery view, live traffic and warnings, and mapping. Similar to Google Maps and Waze, but having it sync directly to the dash cam has been more useful that I would have originally thought.
Having a dash cam that has integrated safety and warning features has proven itself to be extremely useful, especially since driving is becoming more and more chaotic where I live. Of the many cameras I have owned in the past, this one definitely ranks at the top. Just get it hardwired.

To start, the good-

Sound- The sound is great, excellent even. Good initial balance of tones, and the custom EQs actually enhance the music types you're listening to rather than just amplification. The most notable is the podcast boost. I listen to a bunch of YouTube debate/talk videos that aren't always mixed well. This boost puts the vocals front and center without blasting the volume. The sound of these buds live up to the Sennheiser brand.
Fit- using the correct ear tips and the corresponding "wings," the fit is one of the better bud fits I have used. Once locked in, they stay put, even through high impact/jarring activity. Once the correct fit is established, you get a seal which does a great job of blocking out ambient noise. This is very noticeable in a gym setting.
Touch controls- Of course you have your usual multi-presses to correspond to different functions, but here they incorporated a great addition, tapping outside the ear canal. With just about every set of BT headphones I've used, I have issues with the sensitivity of tapping the actual earphone/bud. Especially when in the moment of a good workout and I just want to rewind a track. Tapping the skin is so much more intuitive and useful for quick, accurate navigation. That being said, it still is susceptible to the mistaken presses when wearing a hoodie.
Call clarity- Nonissues of hearing/responding with clear audio and responsive controls.
The not so great-
Battery- with the sensors running, you're only getting about 4 1/2 hours of listening time. Not close to all day listening. Turning those off increases life by another hour or two depending on what you're listening to.
Sensors- I do not use Polar. Their devices or apps. So, when testing I was directly working within the Sennheiser app. When all was set-up and connected, all showed up well, but when I go back to my music app, get a good heart rate burst, I go back to the Sennheiser app, and it has to reconnect, and seconds go by before I get a reading. I have tried to turn off data restrictions, background running, etc. but nothing works to have a consistent read when on demand. But, when it does connect, it is accurate based on comparison between my watch and heart rate monitor.
Connectivity- It says integration is possible with several apps/devices, but I haven't found this to be the case. I would love a simple connect to either Google Fit, MyZone, or Withings, but as of yet, I haven't been able to sync up as easily as advertised. It may be possible to sync through the Polar app, but as mentioned, I want to use this outside of Polar.
Connection- Initial connection, and all connections following have been without issue, but when you get a hiccup in sound and/or a mismatch in earbud timing, it can be a real pain to sync correctly as a simple power cycle does not fix the issue. Also, in a clear, wide-open environment, like a park, distance away is good, but once you hit a more crowd dense area, like a gym, I can barely get 10 feet without interference/droppage. This seems to be sporadic across all of the buds I've owned, but very prevalent in those with added functionality (heart rate, etc.).
Despite the shortcomings, I would recommend these to fitness enthusiasts and general audiophiles alike based on the great sound, superb fit, and overall customization. They can keep up with your workout! But, if you are looking to use for the sensors and fitness reading aspects, unless you are invested in the Polar line of products, I would say it is simple a fun novelty that loses its charm once the initial curiosity fades.

Dive headfirst into one of the best gaming laptop experiences on Windows 11. The ROG Zephyrus G16 packs a 10-core Intel Core i7-13620H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU into a super thin gaming laptop. Enjoy a fast 165Hz refresh rate, 16GB of RAM, and 512 GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage all wrapped in a light 4.41 lbs chassis. The future is thin and light.

Decent performance with a glaring omission

This is my second G16. The first was with 30-series graphics card. This version appears to be the same system just updated with a 4070. Is that a bad thing? That depends.
All the features that I love are here. Slim body, plenty of ports for connection, and an overall pleasing aesthetic.
But, one feature I originally loved, becomes an issue here. The screen. Specifically, there is no native HDR. With NVIDIA pushing the limits on their RTX capabilities, having HDR in the current generation should be a given. While I can turn on RTX Super Resolution, I had to find out the hard way that I couldn't experience in-game RTX HDR because it requires Windows HDR to be activated, which is not available here. And note, streaming HDR and native HDR are not the same thing. As I booted up Hellblade 2 and The Callisto Protocol, I was met with the realization I was missing out on the maximum potential of the imagery...which is seemingly what a good graphics card is all about.
So, if you're a gamer looking to maximize the graphical prowess of the 4070, this may be a bit of a letdown.
On the other hand, the games run flawlessly with very few framerate dips. My preference would be higher ram for today's games, but the 16GB installed is doing the trick so far.
What I don't recall from my last model is the quick access buttons. Great feature. Having the armory crate and volume on quick access is much more convenient than fidgeting with F buttons.
Battery life is still decent for a game system, and the portability of the G16 is a great feature in itself.
Yes, I still love the size and power, and would recommend, but the lacking HDR has to be considered if you're buying for graphical prowess.

The ECM-W3 comprises two microphone-transmitters featuring high signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio microphone units, and a dual-channel receiver. The transmitters and receiver process audio digitally and transmit it wirelessly, allowing the capture and recording of two speakers' voices with superb clarity and low noise.

Great sound and functionality. Minor issues.

Once the mic(s) are connected, levels are matched, and switches are set to the proper situation, everything sounds great! I haven't experienced any interference issues, and the distance is commendable. Connecting has required no actions on my part except turning all units on. No seeking or additional input needed. Truly on and play.
Battery has lasted through my specified shoots, for hours. Though I have yet to truly need it, the charging case is handy for keeping me ready to go without having to consistently plug-in to a wall. Straight from the camera bag, charged up and ready to shoot.
The "environment" switches are a nice touch for on-the-fly adaptation, and when properly used, are very helpful. Cutting out ambient noise and adding a filter cut to specific voices saves time in post editing. In my usage, using these switches has not hindered audio quality, nor does it add and type of "digitized" remnants to the edges of the audio.
Issue 1: monitoring. For a microphone in this price range, a direct monitoring option for the receiver is sorely missed. Audio output from my camera doesn't give a true reflection of how audio will sound. So if I am using any of the cut/pass filter switches, I can't get a decent read on how much the effect is helping or hindering until I run it through my workstation. Simply having a monitoring port on the receiver would save me time in producing the best audio possible as quickly as possible.
Issue 2: MIS. Not really an issue, just a bit of a letdown. The Multi Interface Show sounds great, but you realize it's very limited in its implementation. I have a Sony camcorder that is maybe 1-2 years old. It has the MIS capability. So excitedly, I plugged it in only to find out, it will only work in analog mode. Which is the same as cabling. Yes, it saves a cable from my set-up, but I was hoping to take advantage of the digital sound capability. Once explored, I found out the digital only works for a couple of high-end cameras. So, though it's sold as a mentionable feature, the implementation is very limited.
Regardless of the issues, it does provide excellent sound reproduction and superb functionality and will become my mainstay go-to microphone.

I've had a few different pairs of "smart" glasses that I use for various situations (beach, e-bike riding, etc.). The Headliner glasses are the best version and then some.
Set-up does require a separate Meta app, but once installed, connecting was painless with very little effort on my part. And with each subsequent usage, it always has connected flawlessly, at least for the few dozens of times I've used them.
The fit was a bit snug at first, but they do "break-in," so give it a few wears.
I didn't think I would use the Meta AI as much as I do, but having the tool built into the glasses I find myself reaching for my phone less, with the results being just as accurate and helpful. From "what am I looking at," to "what kind of car is this," the results are quick and snappy and has been quite enjoyable testing just how far the search goes. The tool I thought would be a given is finding the name of a song that's playing, but not yet. Hopefully more features come with updates.
The camera is definitely an improvement over past recorder glasses I've owned. What was once a gimmick actually serves as a solid substitute for taking a quick shot with my phone. Clean, vibrant pictures and videos that can easily be shared and edited within the app or exported out for work on others. I ride an e-bike around and enjoy recording various trips. Much easier than rigging up my Action Cam. The only hangup I've found is learning the framing. There is no zoom or autofocus, so you get everything in the camera view. If you want tighter shots, learning the distance from the camera will take some configuring, but is completely doable.
Lastly, the sound is impressive in terms of volume. Sound quality depends greatly on what you're listening to. Podcasts and YouTube "talking" vids sound great while allowing me to hear any ambient noise around me. Once you turn on anything bass heavy or punchy, it's listenable but becomes flat. The bass response actually performs better at lower volumes creating more depth. I mention this, but I wasn't expecting too much from over ear audio. All-and-all I'm satisfied with the listening experience.
The Headliners are a lot of fun thus far and provide great functionality. They'll definitely be in full swing using at the beach and other locales throughout the summer!

Well built. Well thought out. Well designed. Three phrases that aren't usually ascribed to Chromebooks. The Asus 2-in-1 earns all 3.
I handed this over to my daughter to use for her schoolwork and productivity. It exceeds that purpose, and I'm using it more often that she does. It challenges the limitations of what we normally attribute to Chromebooks.
The build is extremely solid and sturdy. Nothing feels cheap of flimsy. Cover/case provides enough protection that I don't feel overly cautious when handling or tossing in a bag.
Keyboard keys provide great tactile feedback, and the trackpad usage is smooth and precise. The keyboard also easily attaches and detaches without much fumbling.
Screen is bright and clear with excellent details in images, games, and videos. Touch functionality is on par with any other tablet I have in my home.
Sound is decent with a solid set of speakers. Definitely good enough for watching movies and general music listening. Not tinny. Sound has decent depth.
Cameras are good for tablet standard. Great for video calls and general shooting. Not full function but fits the bill.
On paper, the ram and processor look underwhelming, but for surfing, games, streaming, note taking, and my daughter's schoolwork, it was completely able to keep up. Open too many processes, yes there will be a slowdown, but general usage hasn't been problematic.
The stylus fits snuggly into the screen for storage which also doubles as a charger. There are no buttons on the stylus for clicking options, but writing and general navigating is very smooth. The stylus is also capable of quick charging. 15 seconds adds dozens of minutes to usage.
Being that it is android, it fits into my home ecosystem flawlessly. I have several "OK Google" devices around my home. Using voice commands and/or device casting works better than some of my native devices.
Of course, there are a few cons. The first is the viewing angle. You cannot get a 90-degree angle as there is no horizontal hinge, and the screen is supported by a kickstand that is attached magnetically to the back of the screen. This makes it cumbersome to actually use on your lap in laptop mode without a lap desk of some sort. Not impossible, but cumbersome.
Second issue is no SD expansion slot. Unfortunately, with the push towards "clouding" everything, expandable storage is starting to become a rarity. This is a shame because with all this Chromebook can do/handle, it would be great to add on-board content for those offline situations. There is a USB-C port for HD connection, but an SD card would have been preferable.
Lastly, camera has no zoom. Front or rear. For video calls, not too much of an issue, but you must have the appropriate distance for every call. But for photography, not having at least a digital zoom is lacking. For example, when scanning a QR code, it's great to zoom in to scan rather that having to create a physical crop.
All and all, this is a great, handy Chromebook that serves several purposes, and serves them well. My daughter can't get enough, and I too find myself grabbing it for a quick task.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Claw is a great device. While there are some issues I will mention, my high review is solely based off the main reasons I would want it.
I game on all platforms, but my main OS is Windows. It is my preferred system due to the ability to openly customize to my needs without the need to hack or jailbreak anything. The Claw fills the gap between becoming a great segue way device between all my gaming devices.
For reference, I primarily stream from my desktop and consoles, use front end emulation and client gaming (Steam, Epic, Prime, etc.)
PROS-
-Bright, crisp, detailed screen with excellent touch responsiveness.
-Responsive, customizable controls that feel just as good as any console joysticks I own.
-Controller feels comfortable for extended periods of time. Hours in with no complaints.
-Superb battery life in both streaming and device installed titles. Quick charge feature gets me back in-game much faster.
-Device stays cool. Lives up to the hype. Have had no issues with comfort thus far.
-Peripheral friendly! Headsets, hubs, mice, Woojer vest, etc. I can install/use just about anything just as if it was my desktop.
-Runs all my software without a hitch. Chiaki, Launchbox, Steam, Epic, whatever. Whatever I could/can do on Windows, it all works here.
-Easy to switch between Desktop and Handheld mode to match my needs.
-Great sound software built-in if you're not running Dolby
-Not tied into the MSI frontend software. It's there if you want to use it, but not necessary.
-Multi-use USB-C including DisplayPort-Expandable via microSD card slot
CONS-
-Force feedback is substandard and is audible. If you're using headphones, it isn't too noticeable, but it feels like second rate compared to all the other features.
-Joysticks have a rigid "finish" on the edges. Designed to help with tactile grip, they were uncomfortable for the first couple of sessions. Had to get used to them.
-Android functionality needs lots of work. Can't see my Play Store library, games mapping to physical controls are hit/or miss. I would use this feature if fully functional, so I'm hopeful for software fixes in the near future.
I'm extremely satisfied with the design, feel, and performance of the Claw. It exceeds my expectations and gives me the option to explore other functions I didn't know I wanted to try. When using, it provides a first-rate experience when my desktop/ laptop may not be available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Without question, the SL Max provides great sound out-of-the-box dominating speakers twice its size and form factor. With very few shortcomings, it will be my go-to speaker for beach/picnic outings due to its space filling soundscape and portability.
Performance- Rich, full sound with a great balance of treble and bass. No peaking on high volumes and easily able fill a room and/or cover a space in a mid-size gathering. App based EQ can further implement a specific sound profile to match different genres of music. My overall rating is specifically tied to its robust performance.
Size/ Portability- A lot packed into a little. For comparison, it's roughly the size of a Fiji water bottle and easily able to fit into any backpack without hogging too much space. With that, the control panel buttons are sized just right, even for my thick fingers. Another high point.
Build- When you first grab the handle, you may be slightly surprised at how heavy the capsule is. With that weight comes confidence in the build. This is a solid, sturdy road companion. I have no issue toss around, getting wet, or placing in the sand. A downside it there are no covers for the power or aux inputs, but there is a warning system for charging. If there is water detected, the led will flash until dry. In any event Bose recommends fan usage for drying/clearing debris, so I can still feel confident in taking it wherever I boldly go. This goes for the handle as well. Very sturdy, without the need to be delicate.
Battery- The first 10% of the fully charged battery disappeared after about an hour and some change, which I assumed I was going to get roughly 10% per hour. But, I've been at 80% for well past that metric which gives a solid plus for battery life. Of course, the louder the play, the shorter the battery life, but for sporadic usage, the battery has surpassed satisfaction.
Finish- This is where I find one of my main issues. The finish of the Max is a rubber based matte coating. While I know it helps with durability, it is terrible for keeping your speaker looking its best. All knicks, dust, specks, marks, etc. show on the surface and are not easily removed. So, if you're going to put this speaker to hardship, let it be known it will look the part over time. Also, I have known such finishes to not do well over time with oxidation. Only time will tell, but this is/has been my experience.
App experience- Easily connected to several BT sources with/without the app. App adds EQ and quick settings so it will be advantageous if you like to tinker with your sound. The app has been improved since my last foray with the S1 Pro. So far, dependable and useful when I choose to use it.
A few things to wrap up. The first is the Shortcut button. It is promoted as programmable, but the only choices are for the AUX and Spotify. I'm hoping that can be expanded through a software update at a later date, as of writing this, it is simply a disguised "source" button. I would love to set the button to my preferred music app of choice.
Second, there are no in-call options. No mic or speaker output of calls. That can be a hit or miss feature, and they chose to exclude it here. When you take a call, music stops, call is taken through handset. Once call completes, music automatically resumes with no interaction needed. Not an issue, but is one of those features that should be noted.
In closing, The Soundlink Max lives up to the boisterous claims and satisfies just about all of my needs and wants in an on-the-go speaker. A worthy companion.
I would recommend this to a friend!
