The Back-UPS battery backup offers guaranteed power and surge protection for wireless networks, computers, gaming consoles and other electronics in your home or business. Models supply battery backup during outages and unsafe voltage fluctuations, as well as provide protection from damaging surges and spikes. They're available in 'tower' or 'floor' styles, and together with a variety of standard features, they are the perfect choice to protect your data and keep you connected.

Would this work with my computer? If

Thanks for your inquiry Kat. It would be best to confirm first the total power consumption of your computer. As long as your computer only draws less than 360 watts (capacity of UPS in question - BVN650M1), this should be ok.

Battery Backup & Surge Protector for Electronics and Computers

Would it power a ps5 and monitor (lg gp950) if there was a power outage?

Thank you for your interest in our products. I would recommend going with a slightly larger unit since the PS5 and monitor probably pull around 300 watts of power. The BN450MNW would support 255 watts connected to it so there is a chance it would become overloaded. I would go with something like our BVN650M1 instead.

Can this unit be put in a structured media box where all the cat cables are located or does it have to be in a well ventilated area.

Thank you for your interest in our products. We do recommend that our UPSs be installed in a ventilated area. I would be concerned that the UPS would get warm inside the box if there is no way to vent the air inside it. When they do get warm it can shorten the lifetime of the internal battery as well. I would install it outside of the box if that is an option.

Will this support CPAP machines.

Thank you for your interest in our products. The BN1350M2 wouldn't normally be used for a CPAP machine however if the machine doesn't pull more than 810 watts then it could be connected to it. Generally a CPAP machine would draw around 60 watts of power which would give you 1 hours and 20 minutes of runtime. If the power draw is higher the runtime would be lower and if power draw is lower than the runtime would be higher. I would just make sure the CPAP machine isn't near the UPS since water and humidity can damage our units. We also do not recommend connecting life saving devices to our units.

How should I clean the UPS after it starts to accumulate dust over time? I do not want dust buildup to become a problem, especially in the vents. However, I want to make sure I dust it off safely.

Thank you for your interest in our products. I would just use a dusting cloth to wipe off the UPS. If there is dust in the vent I would use a can of compressed air to remove any dust build up.

Will this work to power a crap machine through the night

Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately the BN1500M2 wouldn't provide enough runtime to last through the night. The normal CPAP machine should draw around 60 watts of runtime which would provide around 1 hour and 30 minutes of runtime.

Will this work to power a chap machine

Thank you for your interest in our products. It really would depend on much power the CPAP machine draws. If it draws the normal 60 watts then you would get around 1 hours and 30 minutes of runtime. Just please note that we don't recommend connecting life saving equipment to our units and I would watch that the unit isn't near any water.

can this be used for an adjustable bed

Thank you for your interest in our products. It would really depend on how much power the bed draws. You would want to make sure the bed doesn't draw over 900 watts of power because anything over that would overload the UPS. It should work but I would just confirm the power draw of the adjustable bed.
