Does this transmitter have an on/off switch? I have an old car and I've been advised not to keep pulling the device in and out of the cigarette lighter.

Hi there, thanks for your question. The Roadtripper SOUND does not have an on / off switch, and will stay powered on as long as it is plugged into your vehicle. In my experience it doesn't drain the car battery enough to cause the battery to die, but it may depend on your vehicle. Removing the Roadtripper from your cigarette lighter each time you get out of the vehicle shouldn't be an issue to my knowledge. I have a 2014 Xterra, an iPhone 7, and a premium Spotify subscription. Will this device allow me to play music from the Spotify app on my iPhone?

As long as your vehicle has a charging port (sometimes called the cigarette lighter port) and a working radio, you will be able to plug this device into your vehicle and play music through the radio. Will it charge a Samsung A20?

How do you know it’s actually sanitizing?

I would like to know if this will drain car battery if left in the cigarette lighter while vehicle is off?

Hi there, thanks for your question. The answer to this depends on your vehicle. Some vehicles do not provide power to the charging port once the vehicle is off. However, some vehicles do provide power while off, and in that case, the Roadtripper VOICE would be using some of the battery's energy while the vehicle is off. I personally drive a 2005 Chevy Malibu and have had no trouble leaving the Roadtripper plugged in, but I cannot say for sure that you would have the same experience. Does this ONLY sanitize & charge at the same time? Or can the charging & sanitizing be done separately ?

Does the UV light turn off automatically(after 15 minutes let's say) after your device has been fully sanitized? Assuming the phone charges in the UV bay, can the UV sanitizing light/function be turned OFF to use it as just a standalone wireless charger?

You do not need to open the lid or remove your device if you do not want to. Also, yes, the PwrUp Clean can be used solely as a wireless charger without the UV sterilization function being on.
