RV compatable

Will this unit work in an RV? I noticed it requires 120 Volts, but uses only 2.58 amps.

Hello, the internal dimensions are: Width: 20", Depth: 15" Height: 25". The step for the compressor on the bottom is 8" W x 9" H.

Freezer in garage

May this freezer be kept in the garage? I've heard that newer refrigerators can not be kept in the garage due to a thermostat that turns the frig off if it falls below a certain temperature.

Danby recommends selecting a location with reasonable year round temperatures. We do not recommend operating the freezer when surrounding air temperature is below 32°F, though it will not harm the freezer to stand in any temperature below 32°F, provided the temperature control is set to avoid running the unit. In order to keep operating cost down, do not place freezer near a stove, furnace, heat register or in direct sunlight. If the place selected for your freezer is damp or moist, as in basements, place freezer on wooden blocks (two or three 2x4’s under entire length
will ensure adequate support).

Clearance around refrigerator

What is the recommended clearance around this model? I want to put it under countertop between cabinets and was wondering if there is a minimum distance between the unit and cabinets and rear wall.

We do recommend that you ensure there is at least 2" on all sides, top and back of the refrigerator to allow for proper ventilation.
