Below countertop use?

Would this work and drain properly if it was used below the countertop? I only have 15" available above my countertop. If I placed it in a base cabinet, would it function properly? Would it create a tremendous amount of humidity/dampness if enclosed in a base cabinet?

Hello Tammy, The unit has an integrated pump, so it will work from under the counter, however, please note that we do not recommend to install the unit directly to the water line as the pressure may damage the motor. The unit most be connected to a regular faucet. Also, we do not recommend you to enclose the unit as it produces moisture.

Do I have to buy a special screw on adapter for the faucet to fit the hose setup?

Hello Jayne, As long as you have a regular faucet, the unit comes with all the required parts to be installed. Only if you have upgraded faucets you will require an adaptor for our connector.

Hello, we do not recommend an specific brand of detergent, however, we do recommend to use powder. If you decide to use tablets, please note that this model is not a full size dishwasher and you may use only 2/3 of it.
